So, a mysterious mermaid that you all know was surfing the net to find anything about a new D*sney movie, and he happened to find some information about two new Disney Princesses coming to the club, Tiana and Rapunzel! The Frog Princess
As far as I know, The princess in this movie is named Tiana, and is the first black disney princess! Finally! So, it's not sure yet what version of the story they took up, but it is set for a 2009 release. This movie has stirred up much controversy on the princess being Black, but really, it's not a big deal! I think it's good that they finally had their first black princess! Rapunzel
So, we all know the story of the yellow haired beauty Rapunzel! And Disney has finally decided to make her a Disney Princess. Only concept pictures of Rapunzel have been released and that the movie is due for a 210 release. This movie will be computer generated. CGI. Media
So, that's about it for now. Their are many photos of these movies released on the internet, including the first promotional picture for the frog princess. I am not going to gather them all, for it takes to much time to do so, but I suggest Google for searching. So, what do you guys think about this? I can't wait!

I hope they make a villain based off of Ursula and Medusa like they did with Maleficent and Grimhilde for Narissa.....yea that's my two cents on that!!

I'd hope so too! But the villian in the Princess and the frog/Frog Princess is a voodoo man, and I think it's a man ... But for Rapunzel ... the world may never know!

OMG, I've been so anxious to see Rapunzel and The Princess and the Frog ever since I found out about them! I want to see Rapunzel more though. It's supposed to be the most beautiful film Disney has ever made, according to Glen Keane, as it's going to look like moving oil paintings.

as long as the villain is a decent diva I have no objections!

Hehehe, Yeah! I found some of the pictures of the paintings for it, I printed one of them out to keep in an art collection I've been making The one I like most from Rapunzel that I've seen is this one of her washing her hair in a huge water fall and it's all rushing down the water fall beautifully!

I am really excited to see The Princess and the Frog. I am glad that their is going to be a new Disney Princess. Despite me being 16 soon I still love Disney Princesses to death.
Ha I remember my good friend and I were talking about princesses in Drama. She was complaing how Disney had every other race but black {White, Arabic, Asian, Native American blah blah} and how she wants a black girl in Disney since she is black. And when I told her about this she got so excited. Now we're seeing this together. She's hilarious though.}

What I'm really looking forward to for "The Frog Princess" is that it's going back to traditional hand-drawn animation instead of using computer animation. It's too bad that "Rapunzel" won't do the same...

I might have gotten my information wrong, but I saw screens from the movie and it looked partly CGI and partly animated ... but it's not traditioal.

I hope the new two movies will do Disney justice and be good like the classics.

One of my friends cousins worked on these movies and she said they should be great! Im really looking forward to seeing the Frog Princess a bit more than Rapunzel for two reasons. One because Disney has finally decided to create a black Disney Princess and I am very happy about that! Second reason is that it will be going back to hand drawn animation! Both movies look absoutly precious but the Frog Princess just captured my interest a bit more. Im also anxious to see what the new villains are going to look like. And I don't know why but that still reminds me of Peter Pan for some reason lol but it does look absoutly(mind the spelling) beatiful.

If you wish to know the directors of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin are writing and directing The Princess and the Frog! Yup! Ron Clements and John Musker! And Alan Menken is lead of the musical score! They say that it's being made the same way as the classics of Disney. The music will be just like the classics, a bit of broadway style and some renaissance of the late 1980's to 90's. What I'm really looking forward to for "The Frog Princess" is that it's going back to traditional hand-drawn animation instead of using computer animation. It's too bad that "Rapunzel" won't do the same... Totally agree, I saw a still of Rapunzel, and to me, it doesn't look nice. There's also another animated movie coming in a few years, it'll be based on Philip K. Dick's 1953 short story fantasy King of the Elves. But I hear it's going to be computer animated like Rapunzel...
