It was quiet here, away from the rest of the park. The Grecian walked along the trail, lifting her mauve skirts to avoid the dirt, daintily stepping over the protruding roots in the path. Since she had been here she had made friends, and met some old enemies. Now she just wanted some time out from the hetic lifestyle.
A monkey swung in it's tree up above her, so she looked up, her purplish eyes widened at the creature. They didn't have those in Greece, but her new friend Jane had told her about them. Not looking where she was going, Meg tripped on a tree root, stumbling a little. Ow! She exclaimed, leaning on the offending tree. Stupid weak ankles. She thought to herself.

Curious.
So very, very curious.
Howl peered through the thick branches of the tree he had been nestled in for the past hour, happially dozing away, without a care in the world. He blinked and squinted, trying to see the cause for his sleep to be interupted. He swore, he was certain, he heard a woman...
Ahh. Now he could see. Megara, and she seemed to be in pain. Perhaps coming out here was worthwhile after all? He could do to charm yet another woman... Yes... women... ahh...
And without fully thinking it through, Howl sleepilly roled off the branch. Not realising what he'd done--
THUD!
--until it was too late.
And he landed face first with a thud, checkered coat slung over his head.
Yes. How charming.

A thud, and a strange object right in front of her eyes. She blinked, gingerely stepping on her foot. Yes, it felt alright. Brushing a stray hair out of her face she bent down, all she could see was a checkered pile of clothes on the floor. She looked up. No one had dropped them. How odd.
What in the name of Zeus' underpants is this? She said to herself, then very gently gave it a little poke. One elegant finger lifted some of the fabric off, only to reveal another human. Meg stared, truly quite amused as to why someone would fall out of a tree. Or why someone would climb into it in the first place.

Howl flinched slightly at Meg's poke. Thankfully all his bones were still intact, but as for his ego... well, the damage sustained to that would be beyond repair now. If what he dreaded to be true, that he had just into a heap fallen infront of that very pretty woman...
He blew aside a few floppy tufts of fair hair from his eyes, expecting to have his coat concealing his identity for a few more precious moments. When he realised he was staring into two sleek lavender irisies.
For some reason, his only response was to beam hopefully at Meg, and hope she wouldn't hurt his ego further. If that was even possible.
"...Well, err... is your ankle ok?" He asked innocently enough.

Well, it moved. That was a good sign. She blinked, her smile slightly faltering as whoever this was beamed up at her. Yeah, it's fine. So, were you trying out for the part of Tarzan or were you having a snooze? Meg was teasing, and although her tone was slightly sarcastic, she offered him a hand to help him up. Hopefully he would realise this was how she was, not being rude.
She surveyed him, arms folded as long chocolate locks cascaded down her back. And er, do you have a name? Unless you like the name Tarzan. She said with a grin, turning and promptly sitting on a log a few yards away.

Hearing Meg's comment, Howl gave a slight grin, until he realised she was teasing him. Blinking, he took the offered palm and staggered to his feet. Dusting himself down, he replied in a matter of fact manner;
"Actually, yes. I was up in that tree having a snooze..."
And he admitted in a disheartened tone;
"...until I fell infront of you."
He examined his dirt covered blouse and heaved a great sigh. This woman was probablly more than amused by this all. His gaze following to where Meg now rested, he caught her question on his name.
"Oh, I'm the great wizard Howl. And yourself?"
It was more than tempting to call her Jane in response, seeing as he'd already been titled Tarzan.

Her violet eyes searched him over, then glanced up to the tree above her. Looks comfy. She remarked dryly, stretching her arms like a cat then crossed her legs, adjusting her skirt. There was the occaisonal hole in them. That blasted goat!
His next words managed to catch her attention. She looked up, a glimmer of a smirk crossing her face. Wizard huh? Oh, I'm Megara. She said leaning back on her hands. Call me Meg. Everyone else does. She prefered the shortening of her name, although Megara did sound quite pretty.

"I'm not a very convincing wizard, am I?" Howl mumbled bleakly to himself, seeing Meg's amused expression.
He adjusted the high collar of his coat as a comfort, so that he would have some security in hiding behind it from her. But despite his gloom, he gave a slight smile as she introduced herself.
"Meg, then. Pleased to meet you."
He tilted his head to the side, long tufts of fair hair moving from his eyes, as he examined her. Perhaps he could do something to help her? He could put his magic to a practical use for once, instead of re-dying his hair back to blond.
"Hmm. So Meg, do you believe in magic? Though, my kind doesn't involve any pixie dust..."

Meg returned the stare, tucking a stray hair out of the way. These 'wizards' were odd folk, did they all liked to sleep in trees? She felt like asking, but didn't want to make a fool of himself. This Howl guy was either still sleepy or a complete dofus. Either way, she found quite interesting.
His question surprised her a little. She leaned on her hand, studying him for a few moments before replying. The last time I was sceptical I was wrong, I didn't believe in Gods then the next minute I'm working for one. She said with a grin. So, I guess I don't know. She was slightly wary of things supernatural, but after all, who could blame her?

Howl caught that Meg had been working for one of the Gods, and wondered for a moment if she was having trouble with them still. Possibly not though, seeing as she was freely walking around. Well, he hoped at least. Having to do the dirty work for someone else was a one thing Howl knew well of, and he despised the idea of people being used in such a way.
"Hmm... so would you believe me if I did you a favour? A wizard can always grant spells, help people. I am feeling very generous today."
He then gave a dark smile, but in a humourous manner.
"Unless you're more into the curse side of magic."

She watched him curiously, slightly wary still of this whole magic thing. That, would depend on what the favour was. Meg said with a raised brow. Curses? Sometimes she felt cursed, but didn't say that to him. It was too personal.
...[[ugh, sorry no muse]]

((Ooc: Ahh it's ok. xD I'm just running around at the moment trying to reply to everything.)) Meg seemed uncertain, and Howl felt slightly disheartened (despite being without a heart) at that. Still, he thought he could at least offer a few favours to her before she would make up her mind entirely.
"Well, if you for example wanted to have someone notice you... or get rid of an annoying someone in your life... I could easially cast a few spells. Make life easier for you. Nothing in exchange.
After all, you do hold the unfortunate secret that I fell out of a tree before you. I owe you a favour as surely you won't tell anyone."
He hoped Meg wouldn't. Really, really hoped.

[[ooc;omg, this could be hilarious if Howl bewitched someone..but we have to find someone willing xD]]
She placed a finger on her chin, as if in thought. Thinking of all the wonderful possibilities that could happen. She smirked at her thoughts. Now that Hercules wasn't here, she could have a bit of fun, or get even with a couple of people. You could probably guess which she had in mind.
She eyed him again, her brow quirked in thought. Surely there is a catch? She questioned, there always was in these sort of deals. Really, Meg should have known better to be dealing with someone, but the temptation was too great.

((Ooc: >:3 Oh yes! Bewitching someone is going to fun. xD Perhaps Hades would like to be a victim volenteer for Howl's magic?)) Howl shooked his head and smiled at her reassuringly. Perhaps she did like the sound of this after all, and knowing that, he felt a little bit better about this all.
"No catch. Though as I've said, I'd appreciate if you didn't tell anyone of my mishap. So Meg."
A wide grin uncurled on his face as Howl flexed his fingers, as though he was eagar to get his spells casted on their targets.
"Who do you have in mind?"

[[rofl, I have this vision of Hades running round after Meg like a puppy, lmao lol rofl...yeah..]] She smirked. She might be able to keep a secret, she was pretty good at things like that. It also gave her a firmhold, if this fell through, then she would be singing it to the world. But if he was as good as he says he is, then it shouldn't come to that.
A larger grin came about her features as the one person who made her life hell (pun not intended) sprang to mind. Hades. She stated simply. That was the only person, or thing, she could think of that would make it worthwhile. Hilarious, even.
