When you list 'male' or 'female' under your character's picture, is it suppposed to be the character or the RPer?
I listed myself as female, even though Panchito is male. Is this right?
I see some characters done this way and some are listing, I think, according to the gender of their character. Which is it?
Thanks.

o-o....for forums..it's usually the "member" gender, but with character...we would already know male between female by coloring Pink- princess, blue- heros, purple- heroines... you can match the gender whichever you like.

I guess it really depends on what you want to do. I'm actually a girl but I put the gender for Peter Pan as male and a female for Lady just so I can feel more in character myself. That's just me though. ;D

When I first joined, I left the gender off, because I thought it looked silly to have 'female' under a male character.
Then I saw several others doing it, and figured it meant the RPer.
Now I see some using it one way, and some the other way.
I'm so confused!

I do it as the rp-er, since it's kindave obvious that my charries are boys... except for Howl. (face it, he looks like a girl.) But his member title takes care of any confusion.
Most forums I've been on use the gender icon to indicate the rp-er's gender and not the character's, just to avoid any confusion/creep-out factor.

Y'know, that makes a lot of sense. Everybody knows if the characters are boys or girls.
