He put a glass of rum to Elizabeths lips and forced her to drink, maybe this will calm her down. "E's saying exactly what yer thinking, Elizabeth". He glanced at Barbossa, and whispered, "what are you exactly are yer saying?" He understood that Barbossa thinks hes under the curse, but he was confused to exactly how he got it.
He helped fight this curse before, and he didn't look forward to doing it again.

Jim rolled his eyes.
Jimmy-Jim-Jim?
And here he thought that BEN came up with the worst nicknames. Whatever...
"Oy." Jim grunted, getting up from his table and shuffling over to the rest of the group.
"Okay, how much booze has he had?" Jim said as he glanced at Jack, drunk...er than usual. "Does he ever quit it with the rum?"
Jim's gaze dropped as he read Elizabeth's expression.
He turned to Barbossa. "You told her, didn't you..." he sighed.

Barbossa kept his mouth shut as Elizabeth and Gibbs inquired further about what he was talking about. It was best to leave an element of suspense. And seeing as the lad was so close to Jack and Elizabeth, he'd tell them on his one. So he looked up at Jim, who decided to join them. Barbossa moved his finger, nail painted black, around the rim of the glass.
"Not at all, lad, least not th' whole tale. Ye can be havin' the honor of tellin' her if ye'd like, I'm sure Jack and Elizabeth would like t' hear all about it."

Jim gave Barbossa a grim nod. "I think you should know... you're family now, I guess."
Jim sighed and moved over to the nearby window, rasing a hand.
"Like Barbossa said, curiosity didn't kill the cat..."
Jim moved his hand to the windowsil, into the moonlight. Flesh disappeared to reveal his bones, ghostly white in the light.
"...Instead, the cat got stuck undead."
Jim dropped his hand and dipped into the moonbeams. His own macabre skull stared back at them with glazed blue eyes in the eye sockets, a matted crop of brown hair and an unkempt ponytail still reminding that the zombie in front was, in fact, Jim.
He ducked out of the moonlight, skin covering his gaunt bones once again.
"Is there anything left that I can do to help it?" Jim pleaded.

Gibbs looked at Jim in awe, unable to believe that someone could be so stupid. "Oy, what did you do lad?!" It was a hypothetical question.
"Is there anything left that I can do to help it?" Jim pleaded.
"If I recall corectly, only the blood of William Turner spilt on all the aztec gold can get rid of th' curse" his voice sounded serious, it then perked up "I'm Mr. Gibbs, nice to meet yer lad".

Elizabeth coughed slightly as Mr Gibbs pushed the drink to her lips, forcing her to swallow some. "Hey! I'm not used to this stuff, so careful." She frowned at him but mainly because he then confirmed that what she was thinking about Jim was right. As soon as she thought that, the lad himself came over. She laughed darkly at his question about Jack.
"Ha! Rum to Jack is as natural as breathing... you're lucky if you ever see him purely sober." Elizabeth threw an amused glance in Jack's direction, knowing he wouldn't be offended by her remark. She knew he was pretty much proud of how much he drank. She sighed, then brought her attention to Barbossa when Jim spoke again.
"Yes, I would like to hear it... although I can already tell what's wrong." Even though she'd seen the curse herself on the Black Pearl on many men, including Barbossa, she still gasped when Jim revealed himself. A chill ran down her spine when she looked at his face... his skeleton face with blue eyes staring out of the eye sockets. When Mr Gibbs asked Jim how, Elizabeth nodded, wanting to hear his answer to that too.
"Oh, Jim... why?" Her expression was showing how upset she was at witnessing this. However, she looked sharply at Mr Gibbs. "W...Will? We'll need... him?" She still felt guilty and uneasy for leaving Will for Jack... and she knew Will must still hurt a little from it. She tried to avoid him as much as she could, especially when she was carrying around hers and Jack's child. But if Will was needed for Jim, she knew she'd do what she could to help... awkward or not.
"Barbossa, will we need Will to help Jim?" Elizabeth's voice shook, showing the others how nervous that idea made her, despite her earlier vow to herself that she'd help.

Jim forced himself to look at Elizabeth, but he couldn't hold her gaze for long. There was so much worry in her eyes... it made Jim feel even more awful than usual. How could he have put himself in this position? Everyone was worried about him, and there was almost nothing they could do!
"I'm such an idiot..." Jim sighed, closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose. "Let's just say... ehen Captain Teague tells you not to touch anything, you DON'T touch anything. 'Specially not a big stone chest full of those gold Aztec medallions."
Jim pulled a chair over and sat down. "I mean, I had no idea what they were! How was I supposed to know that I'd be a walking horror film every moonlit night?" Jim hit the table out of frustration. "Just... forget it. Forget it."
"I don't even know how to lift the curse... All I know is that it has something to do with the coin I stole."
"And... who's Will? What does he have to do with this?"

Barbossa listened to Elizabeth's and Jim's banter and said, "All th' pieces must be returned t' th' chest. Th' lad is doomed, 'less he be findin' th' piece of gold he took from th' treasure. I do believe that piece is located securely in th' bottom of th' ocean. So ye best be gettin' used t' ye knew life, Jim." He paused. Then something came to his realization and he grinned. "The gold should be callin' t ya." He took another big swallow of rum, feeling the effects of it a little bit.
"Ye only chance is t' follow th' callin and try to get that piece returned t' it's rightful place with th' blood of Turner. Only then will ye be able t' feel anythin' ever again in yer lifetime, lad."
He looked up at Elizabeth and Gibbs, seeing there concern. "Come come, mateys. Jim is not but undead." He grinned, sadistically. "He be feelin no pain, no sufferin'. Nothin'." He slid a glass over in Elizabeth's direction. "Have a drink, m'lady." His voice sounded a tinge bit more mischievous than he wanted it to be.

Jack looked to Elizabeth and bobbed his head back surprised at her sudden response."All I meant was that I'm glad that she is safe and in good hands. No reason to get all hormonal with me."He said waving his arms about as he spoke. He then looked towards Jim as he came to join the group and asked the question about him and his rum. He listened to Elizabeth reply and gave her wink in response to her glance.
He sat back down in his chair next to Jim."And think about it mate now that your half skeleton, you won't have to worrry about feeling any pain and, you are now technically, immortal untill the curse is lifted again." He said to him trying to lift up the lads sprits. He then raised his hand up to catch another bartender that was walking around but then realized that he had ran out of shillings to pay for the rum. He looked to Barbossa wondering if he had any and poked him on his shoulder untill he looked his way.

"The gold calls to me?" Jim repeated. "That's... the stupidest thing I ever heard."
Seriously, how could a piece of metal call to someone? ...Then again, how could a teenager turn into a skeleton the second moonlight hit him?
Maybe it's worth a shot... Jim thought as he tried to concentrate. He had no idea what he was doing... Jim tried focusing on a mental picture of the medallion. Where are you? Jim shut his eyes and let all awareness around him drain away, focusing only on the medallion...
Far away, resting on the bottom of the sea, the medallion suddenly sent out a pulse. It carried the water in a quick ripple of energy, and the wind suddenly changed direction to the coin.
Jim's eyes shot open. "I felt it." he exclaimed in a hushed voice to Barbossa.
"But... how do I follow it? I'm just a cabin boy, I dunno which way to go..."
((Ahem... Jack, can we pwease borrow da compass? ^-^))

( of course you can ^^)
Jack looked to Jim while still continuing to poke Barbossa then looked down at his compass that was attached to his effects. He removed it with one free hand then said as he showed it to him."You see this compass. This compass points to the thing you want most, in this world. And want you want most in this world at the moment is to find the gold medaillion is it not?"He said mysteriously. "So I will allow you to use my compass to find the missing piece just as long as you return it when your done using it." He said placing it in his hand. He smiled.

"No way..." Jim said in disbelief as he looked at the rather ordinary compass in his hand. He hastily opened it, watching the dial spin... but it refused to settle. Instead, it would appear to stop on one angle, then appear to change its mind and point in another direction.
"Jack... I don't think it works." Jim said, dismayed. He wanted the medallion more than anything... right? What else was there to desire?
The answer flooded Jim's mind. Her. He refused to think of her name, but he desperately wanted to see her. Stop it! Jim argued with himself. You let her go for a reason. She deserves better than you... Especially now that you went and cursed yourself!

Gibbs had noticed that noone had answered Jim's question about who Will is.
"Will, well he be the son of 'Bootstrap' Bill Turner, 'ave you heard of 'im?" he asked, "well Will's blood must be spilt on all the pieces of th' gold for th' curse to be lifted" he repeated himself from earlier.
When Jim said that he felt the pull of gold, a flicker of hope rushed over him. We've got Jack's compass and Barbossa who has been under the same curse so he knows how to follow it. This kid isn't going to be under this curse after tonight, or so he hoped.

Elizabeth finally looked away from Jim after he answered. Even though the others were insisting he wouldn't be in pain, Elizabeth felt like he still was from how angry he looked at his choice to take a medallion. She jumped slightly when the table shook from Jim's frustrated hit to it... it was almost killing her seeing him so upset.
"You're right, you weren't to know what it would do. Don't blame yourself, Jim." She patted his arm in comfort. Then when Jim asked who Will was, she purposely didn't answer. She couldn't tell him what she'd done... she didn't want him to dislike her already.
Barbossa's reply, however, made her glare at him. How was that supposed to help his condition, even if it was the truth? She looked to the drink that Mr Gibbs had offered her before and was surprised to see it empty. Elizabeth threw an annoyed glance to Mr Gibbs. "Well, Barbossa, I'd gladly accept it seeing as someone just drank my last one." But she didn't realise it was actually her that had, in fact downed it like it wasn't even rum anymore. She took the offered drink and took at least half out of it in one mouthful. The previous wines were starting to mix with the current rums and she could feel its effect finally starting to settle in.
Now she turned her attention to Jack. "Hormonal? Me?" But she giggled when he sent a wink her way. "You're lucky you're so good-looking... easy to forgive." Elizabeth smiled cheekily at him. She whipped her head around to look at Jim again. "You felt it? Well, there you go. And I wish you the best of luck, Jimmy." She leant over and stroke his cheek. "You'll be alright."
Elizabeth removed her hand from Jim's face and sent another glare to Mr Gibbs when he told Jim about Will. "Who cares about him? What, is he famous or something?" She screwed up her nose in disgust when Mr Gibbs talked about him that way. She was tired of feeling guilty and then and there she decided it was time to let it go.

The glare that Elizabeth gave Gibbs frightend him, he knew the reason why she was angry at him, but didn't deny drinking her rum. He rolled his eyes and grabbed another glass from the passing bartender. He handed it to Elizabeth. When she stroked Jims cheek he immediately regretted giving it to her.
"Who cares about him? What, is he famous or something?" Elizabeth said
"Well unless ye want Jim to be under this curse forever, we are to be needing the assistance of Will" he debated with Elizabeth, he knew that this was going to turn into an argument with her, "unless ye have any other suggestions?"
