"Will ye two just shut up, and help get us out of here!" He yelled back to Pintel and Ragetti. What are t' chances that I get trapped in here wit' these two morons, Gibbs thought, shovelling some more debris out the road. His hands began to cramp up and he wasn't getting anywhere.
"There be no point helping anyway" he said sitting down next to them, giving up on getting out. "There is too much to get through, we couldn't do it by ourselves. 'Sides, they'll realise that I'm missing and come and check on me hopefully....." His voice trailed off.
"Why ar' ye interested in hearing a tale about Jack?" He asked, knowing already why. "Ye want information 'bout him to rattle about t' Barbossa, don't ye?" The answer was obvious. "Well don't get yer hopes up, I'm not telling yer." He turned his head to avoid looking at them too.
His eyes lit up when he got an idea. "Well I suppose it won't harm anyone, if I tell yer a little tale about him" he put up his hand, with every finger curled apart from his index and thumb, which were about an inch apart indicating how tiny the story was.
"Well it's not that much about him, as it is of the whole crew. Ye see, the crew recently got together and dicussed the Jack 'problem'. He's really lazy, and a bad captain at that, not t' mention selfish. So we've decided upon a mutnity 'gainst him. We're waiting 'til we're closer to land to toss him overboard, so then there's a chance he'll survive. We're not heartless after all." He lied. He waited their response, throwing in a quick smirk and giggle when they weren't looking.

"A mutiny?" Pintel said, raising an eyebrow.
"Aye, they can't do tha'! We did tha' already! Copy cats." Ragetti pouted.
Pintel rolled his eyes. "Well obviously it didn't work very well did it Ragetti? Barbossa still lost the Pearl. " He turned back to Gibbs, his beady eyes narrowing. "A mutiny ye say?"
"...pretty rotten fer Jack, it is..." Ragetti noted softly.
Pintel paused for a minute. "Wait a minute, why would ye be tellin us that particular story so easily? We aren't idiots ye know. We were aimin' t' be pullin' ye leg fer information." He said, his voice growing with a tinge of irritation.
Ragetti shot a confused glance at Pintel, but then realized that Pintel wasn't buying the story and so he joined in with his irritation. "Yeah! We're not idiots!"
"Ye got some explainin' t' do Mr. Gibbs. An' looks like we've got all day," Pintel said gazing around their current predicament.

"I hope your right luv."He said glancing at Elizabeth. He never would've expected that raising a child would be this difficult. He watched as Elizabeth played around with Lillian then looked back up towards the horizon to keep an eye out on the ghost ship. He turned his head towards Elizabeth when she asked about Mr.Gibbs and noticed her worry. "It does seem strange." He guessed that either Gibbs was looking for more rum or he must've gotten himself locked in while he was taking Pintel and Ragetti to the brig. He hoped it was the first one. "Do you mind holding her for me luv while I go and investigate?"He asked as he handed Lillian to her.

"Iye, mutiny" he repeated himself, to get the idea that this was real to Pintel and Ragetti. He smirked.
"We can do it again Ragetti, and just in time I reckon, tis be a matter of time before he betrays us all". He nodded in agreement to Ragetti's statement about it being pretty rotten for Jack. "It is pretty rotten, but 'e deserves it."
"I'm telling yers all this.....because" he wiped his brow of nervous sweat, he thought they caught him out. "Im telling ye because I need yer intellegence, sneakiness and coldheartness to pull this mutiny off. No 'ffense about that last bit."
"Ye not idiots!" He reassured them, "far from it." He turned his gaze away from them and stared at the floor. "Idiots" he mumbled to himself.

Elizabeth took Lily off Jack when he handed their daughter to her with a nod. "Of course, I do hope he's okay. Being locked up with those two..." She shuddered at the thought. Hopefully Mr Gibbs wasn't in that situation.
She followed Jack's gaze, giving in. She hadn't wanted to look but she knew by not looking at it wouldn't make it go away. Elizabeth's face turned pale at the sight of it. "Okay... maybe I shouldn't have looked after all."
Unconsciously, she tightened her hold on Lillian and silent prayed that they'd get through this fine too. They'd been lucky so far in their adventures, but all luck ran out once, right? Elizabeth shook her head, forcing herself not to think like that. Negative thoughts never got anyone anywhere.

Pintel and Ragetti listened, skeptical.
"Intelligence?" Pintel raised an eyebrow and smirked.
Ragetti nodded, expression beaming. "Tha's right. O-Opposite of idiot."
"Sneakiness,"
"Oh, we're quite sneaky, we are. Wouldn't 'ave been able to get on the ship unnoticed w'out that quality. Well...an'...w'out th' gettin' caught part either." Ragetti interjected.
"Coldness,"
Pintel nodded, laughing a bit pridefully. "Yeah, cuz--" He paused. "Ey, wait a minute!"
Ragetti frowned. "...I remember wha' it felt like t' be cold inside. Not pleasant at all. Besides, it's ne'er good t' 'ave a heart a' stone. Cuz....well, then ye'd be dead, wouldn't ye? Can't survive w' out a heart, can ye?...." He paused. ".....Davy Jones doesn't count."
Gibbs turned away from them and Ragetti whispered to Pintel, "W-wha' if he's tellin' th' truth? Th' crew is stagin' a mutiny, an' good ol' Capt'n Barbossa would like not'in' more than t' see Jack on some other island....wi' out th' Pearl tha' is. We could get in his good graces!"
Pintel considered his logic. "Maybe one a' us could be first mate!"
Ragetti nodded. "Iye, splendid, in'nit?"
Pintel gazed at Gibbs. "Alright, Alright. When will this 'mutiny' be happenin?"
