Username: rose
Movie(s) your character is in: The Lion King
Character's Personality:
In many ways Scar seems like the perfect uncle, brother and prince but he is mereley a grand actor. Selfish, jealous and unspeakably dangerous, Scar holds every quality that makes for a fantastic villain. He is obsessed with power and once he wants something he will not stop until he gets it, often ending up a murderer. He'll push things to their very limits and beyond to get his way whilst all the time, playing the part of a concerned brother and uncle.
He is sly, persuasive and intelligent beyond most expectations. He knows how to manipulate and twist the threads of the people around him, turning them into his puppets and often promising their greatest and most basic desires to them in order to earn their loyalty. He never does his own dirty work unless the time calls for it and he easily points his lackeys and victims in the direction he needs them to go without opening suspicion on himself.
He is an idealist, a supremest and he believes Lions to be above everyone else and not just part of 'the great circle of life' unlike his brother whose pure vision is tainted by Scars ability to destroy what he has so carefully been building.
Character's History: ((Some of this I've made up ^.^))
The younger son of a king and a queen, Scar grew up outside the spotlight which was always so concentrated on Mufasa. I twas clear from the moment Scar was old enough to understand, Mufasa was the favorite and he would often spend hours with their father learning how to become a king.
As time passed by, Scar only grew more and more conceited, he became argumentative, vicious and disobedient, Fed up of the family who so obviously ignored him. So the time came to consider a way to take the away from his brother by force. He started spending more and more time away from the pride in the outlands, with the Hyena colony and as he parents finally passed away, Scar saw his opportunity, Mufasa was newly married, his every waking minute focused on Sarabi. It was the perfect time to strike, until, a new spanner was thrown into the works. The birth of Mufasas son, Simba.
Angered, jealous and pushed away from the throne by his brother and his nephew, once again, Scar returned to the Outlands where he became familiar with a Lioness named Zira who had the same spirit as he did. He fathered a son, Nuka to her before disappearing back to The Pride, a new motive on his mind, hatching a terrible and brilliant plan in order to take what he considered rightfully his.
If he took out Mufasa using Simba's naivety and trust in his 'dear old uncle' as his ammo in a scheme which would look like an accident, he would be free to take the throne without casting suspicion on himself. A plan which worked almost exactly the way he wanted it to. He had to do it himself, with a little help from the Hyenas but Mufasa was killed, the murder scene looking like he merely slipped of a cliff whilst trying to save Simba from the pounding hooves of a wildebeest herd.
Now the blame placed on a fleeing Simba, Scar managed to push both father and son out of the picture, leaving the Pridelands now at his mercy.

Task: You have just arrived at Walt Disney World. Your character has just been brought to the Happiest Place On Earth, but what happens then? What do you do first? What park are you going to go to? Write a 3-5 paragraph RP using our rules into effect.
Stalking through the gates, his body low and concealed in shadows, the russet colored Lion made his way through the quite theme park. It was dark, very dark and Scar liked it. His sharp claws tapping against the paved ground as he slipped silently between the rows of shops and restaurants on Main street, the Lion scanned the area, satisfied with what he saw. This theme park was the perfect place to hatch a new scheme, lot's of places to hide lots of places to run and lots of metal, serpentine contraptions to create chaos.
Stopping to scratch at his hind quarters, the Lion's ears pricked up suddenly as he caught the sound of familiar paws bounding around somewhere in darkness ahead of him. Grinning, his voice darkly excited, the deadly shadow lowered himself to the ground ready to pounce. "Simba" he hissed, barley audible even to those with bat like hearing. "Such a naughty boy..." he grinned sarcastically as his young nephew bounded into the glow under one of the many streetlamps just ahead of him, batting at a moth with his paws.
His Black mane blending seamlessly with the shadows, Scar crept forwards, a hungry glow in his bright green eyes, the color of jealousy. It was the perfect time to strike, here Simba played, defenseless, unprotected and an easy target, he could do it now and get it over with. Creeping further forwards, the Lion tensed his muscles, lean frame ready to strike like a loaded spring, a viper in the sand.
"Goodnight. Sweet prince" he growled, a wicked smirk on his devilish face as he went for the kill, launching forwards like a slingshot, claws ready, aching to tear at the child's soft golden fur when a large, dark gold shape blocked his attack. Landing with a thump on his belly, Scar, seething with rage, glared up at the interloper before suddenly fixing a false smile upon his face.
"Aaaaah, my dear brother, how nice to see you". The false smile accompanied by a false chuckle, Scar pulled himself to his feet and stared into Mufasa's stern eyes, his thin frame paling against the well muscled one of his brother. "I was just about to say hello to my favorite nephew. What..." his smile faltered for a moment before he caught it "...perfect timing you have".
Slipping around to Mufasa's other side, the Lion approached his nephew who greeted him in the usual happy manner under the stony glare of his uncle and the weary eyes of his father. A manner that made Scar sick to his stomach. "Good evening Simba" he replied, sugar coating his scathing voice "And how are we tonight?".
