<<Gadget likes It's a Small World. Does anybody else out there feel the same? If not, then anybody can join the thread ;) >>
Gadget climbed into the boat with barely suppressed excitement. She'd been on this ride before and enjoyed it so much, she just had to go again.
The dolls were so cute and the song was so sweet...it was just a nice, gentle ride, a welcome change from some of the crazy things that seemed to happen in the park sometimes. Villains, alien attacks, storms...
There was none of that stuff in here. Just a happy cruise around the world. Well, not really around the world. Just around a big room with dolls representing the world.

<<I'll join! ;D I hope this is an okay post. =P>>
Wiggins was directed to one of the boats, where he was seated with a few others, sitting next to a little mouse who seemed thrilled to be on the ride. Wiggins had never been on this ride before--in fact, he had never really been on any ride before. He wondered if he would like it or not, and then he glanced back over at the mouse. Should I say something? he wondered. Wiggins did talk to a lot of different types of animals. As the boat departed from the dock, he decided to say something. "Why--Hello there!"

<<Yay!!>>
Gadget looked up at the man seated next to her. His clothes were way old-fashioned, and she wondered where he came from. And when.
But he seemed friendly and cheerful, like someone she would be glad to know. "Hi. My name's Gadget. What's yours?"
"Have you been on this ride before? I think it's great!"

Wiggins blinked. He wasn't really expecting a mouse to talk back to him! But she seemed to be nice, at least. He gave Gadget his name in the most polite way possible before responding to the question. "Well, actually, I haven't been on--ANY ride before!" Wiggins exclaimed. "But I am very happy to hear that you think it's great! It seems really quite cheerful so far."

It seems really quite cheerful so far.
"Oh, yeah, that's what I like about it. That, and the song."
It was such a catchy tune, it was hard not to sing along. But Gadget was no singer, so instead she pointed ahead.
"Here comes the European section. The Dutch boy is so cute! And there's the Eiffel Tower. And Big Ben..."

"Wow! Such scenery!" Wiggins stared around at the singing dolls and backdrops with amazement, and eventually began to hum along. "You were right, Gadget! I really like this ride. And the song!"

Smiling, Gadget bobbed her head in time to the music.
"Can you believe some people don't like this ride? Go figure."
It sure was nice having someone along who appreciated the ride the way she did. To hear some people talk, you'd think there was something wrong with it.

<<Gack, sorry for the absence, I was really busy. And sorry if I mess something in this post up too. XD I'm really tired at the moment.>>
Wiggins shook his head. "I don't understand why anyone wouldn't like such a cheerful atmosphere!" he exclaimed, as their boat emerged into another country. "I always hear people talking about how tiresome having the song stuck in their head can be--But I don't see a problem with it!"

<<No worries :) >>
"Yeah, I know just what you mean."
Suddenly, Gadget pointed excitedly ahead. "Ooh! We're coming up on the US! That's where I'm from!"
She was as happy as a little kid, and felt like they'd actually sailed around the world and were now coming home again.
The American section was the last before the finale, a huge display of dolls from everywhere. Gadget literally gasped at the size of it.

Wiggins gasped along with Gadget as their boat approached the last room and he found himself smiling again. He even clapped a little. "Ohh, bravo!" he exclaimed, looking around him at all the singing dolls. "What a wonderful finale!"
<<Once again, sorry for the delay. Hopefully I'll get to posting regularly again soon...>>

The ride was over. Gadget sat back with a little sigh of contentment.
"That was awesome!" Smiling up at Wiggins, she added, "And it was great to have someone along who appreciates a cool ride."

Wiggins smiled. "That was amazing!" he agreed, clapping a bit more. "Now I definitely don't know why anyone wouldn't like this ride!" He sighed then. "I'm actually a little sad that it's over now."

"Yeah, I know what you mean."
She sat silently for a few moments, thinking about how much fun she'd been having. "Too bad it had to end."
Suddenly, Gadget's face brightened.
"Wait a second...who says we can't go back on again?"

Wiggins gasped, and his face brightened as well. "What an excellent idea! Shall we get back in line as soon as we get off?"

"Why not? We're on vacation, right?"
When the boat stopped at the dock, Gadget got off with the rest of the tourists and headed up the ramp. Once at the top, however, she dashed for the entrance again, waving for Wiggins to follow.
"Come on! The line's not too long and moving pretty fast."
