The lady was a natural! "Si, si! What a good idea, querida!"
Her sly prank made Esmeralda even more attractive in Panchito's eyes, if that was possible.
"If we could make her think a handsome pirata gave it to her, she will go onto the ship maybe. Then Senor Capitan will hear the ticking clock!"

Esmeralda chuckled with laughter when her idea got support. She looked over to Peter, Ronno and Quasimodo, wondering if they too would agree.
"Thank you. Do you have any idea who the pirate might be? Should one of us play the messenger from that handsome Pirata, or should we dress up one of you men as a pirata and let the handsome pirata give her the clock by himself?"

Quasi listened to the other`s arguing, waiting for them to have the plan ready. At last it seemed like they`d pretty much planned out the details, though it seemed a bit outlandish to him. Well, what did he know, it might work if they played their parts well enough. Quasi himself where probably the closest thing they got to having a pirate among them, after all the time with Teague. Still, who would take him for being a handsome pirate, no matter how much he were styled up? He threw another glance down at the victim. Whatever we do, he whispered, i think we better do it soon.
Yzma
Yzma still sat on her bench with a bored look on her face, wondering what the heck she did there anyway. No matter where she turned there was annoying kids everywhere. She rolled her eyes sighing, as a bunch of the most annoying kind, came running over, starting to take pictures and ask for autographs, all while yapping away excitedly.

"You go, lovely senorita. No one would expect such a chica linda of pulling a prank."
Panchito rubbed his hands together, imagining the outcome.
"Tell her the handsome Capitan has sent her a gift. She will go to him and frighten him with the clock. And if not, she will frighten him with that face!"
The vacquero hoped the anciana would maybe even try to kiss him. Now, that would be funny!

Esmeralda giggled and replied to Panchito.
"Awwww, thank you, Panchito. Well, I could give it a go, I guess. Wish me luck!"
Esmeralda put on her most innocent face expression, brought the clock with her and went over to the old woman, placing herself in front of her and clearing her voice.
"Excuse me, Madame, but would you happen to be the gorgeous woman that Captain Hook is hopelessly in love with? He has told me to deliver you a present, as a token of his endless love and admiration."
She found the watch and winded it, making it tick, before she offered it to Yzma.
"Please accept this gift as a token of his love."
She looked at Yzma with her most innocent face expression, looking like a little angel at the moment.

Ronno quieted himself down from arguing with Peter to hear what the others had to say about their plan in tricking Yzma. He had no idea what Panchito was saying with such words as "seniorita" and "chica linda," but that didn't stop him from agreeing to the finalizing of the plan. "Sounds good to me," he complimented with a few nods before going silent and resume watching Yzma from a distance. "This is going to be great!" he muttered to himself quietly with an evil grin spread across his face, building up the anticipation inside for how the outcome would turn out in the end.

((Sorry everyone for taking so long to reply! Great posting everyone!))
Peter said nothing. Truth be told he was a little nettled at being told off - I mean, it was his idea after all. That being said, he had given Esmeralda his word that he would teach her to prank, and Peter Pan never went back on his word. Ever. He stood in silence watching them sort out their parts, wanting them to be able to prank without his help. "Let's do it," he agreed firmly, yet secretly feeling a little put out at not being in charge.
"This is gonna be fun," he whispered to the group as he watched Esmeralda go up to the old woman. As he watched her from behind a tree, he did notice that as Panchito had said, she was indeed a natural. Her face was so innocent, no one would ever suspect her. He stiffled a laugh behind his hand as she spoke of Hook and the old woman's expression.

Yzma where about to continue down the street, but suddenly a quite colorful young woman stood in her way, mentioning something about a "captain hook" being in love with her. The former empress quickly figuring that had to be the tall elegant pirate from earlier.
She looked suspiciously at the girl, she knew what the villagers of her hometown were whispering about her behind her back.
However she didn`t seem to have and hidden thoughts as far as Yzma could see.
What a nice.. clock, she uttered puzzled.
Well, do me the favor of telling him my thanks, will you? she spoke as she accepted the clock offered her.

Esmeralda looked over at the woman, giving her the most angelic smile ever, looking pure and innocent. Nobody who saw the gypsy now would suspect her of pranking someone.
"I certainly will, Madame," she said innocently in her French accent. Then she looked over at Yzma again. "Would you mind if I give you a fashion tip from Paris? The latest fashion is to wear presents like that one around your neck, in a chain like this! It looks like the finest piece of art."
She found a chain in her belongings and attached it to the clock. Then she took the clock and hung it around Yzma's neck.
"I must say you look wonderful, Madame. No wonder Captain Hook says you are the most beautiful woman on WoD. The other pirates says that he wants to marry you. But he has been busy lately, and needs an opportunity to meet you."
Esmeralda said this in the most innocent tone of the world, as if she really meant it.

Panchito half-smothered himself covering his mouth to stifle the laughter.
Would Yzma fall for it? Would she board the pirate ship?
<<Man, my muse is low today>>

"Nice one, Esme," whispered Peter from behind the tree, also stiffiling a laugh behind his hand. If Yzma heard any of them, the game would be up. "Keep it going... Come on, lady... Take the clock..."
Peter bit his bottom lip as he watched, silent egging the old woman on, wishing her to fall for the trick that Esmeralda was playing so well. He glanced at the others who were all silently laughing. "What do ya reckon we should do after she takes it?" He asked them quietly.

Panchito scratched his head, thinking. "Watch the fun, what else?" was his answer.
Of course, there might be a way to up the ante. Once El Capitan made a fool of himself, once he found out the ticking was only a clock, they might find a way to put a real crocodile on his ship.
That would keep the joke going and would be very, very funny.

Peter nodded but continued to watch the scene in front of him with a funny expression on his face, no longer really seeing it. His brain was moving further on to make this prank one of the best.
He looked over at the mexican rooster and noticed he too seemed to be thinking of something. "Got a plan?" He whispered to the others with a mischevious grin. "How about we turn this prank up a few notches?" He added with a raise of the eyebrows.

"Amigo, you are a man, er, boy after mi corazón."
Panchito gazed over at the skinny old woman again. "Demasiado mal we can do nothing until she takes the...how you say, bait. When she goes onto the boat, then, the fun will begin."
