"Argh! Argh! What?" Mr. Smee awoke from his struck doze. He gathered himself awkwardly, as the ship's standing on the water was unstable and rickety. He adjusted his glasses and grinned like the optimist he was... "What's all the commotion?" He spoke with a cheerful tone at the most inopportune moment to even be cheerful. A pirate in blue immediately struck into Smee, sending the old assistant into a tumble... Adjusting his glasses once more, Smee made his decision. "EVACUATION!"
But old Hookie wasn't giving up a fight. He'd for surely won this time. "Doddling fools!" he shouted over to the Misty Lady crew, "You dare to challenge the world's most famous crook?" he snickered and started to his evil cackle.
The cannons from the Misty Lady rolled in on the Jolly Roger. Hook had nothing to fear. His crew would take care of it. "HOLD IT YOU FOOLS! FIRE!" he ordered his own crew of bumbling hoodlums. Six cannons were at the ready, and immediately returned the informal greeting. Blast! Blast!
And the determined, but childishly foolish Hawkins boy dared to enter his ship again... His crew was busy with the Misty Lady crew... the captain was idle, just watching his crew fire. Perhaps Hook ought to do some firing of his own. "That boy shall be mine...PISTOL AT THE READY!" One of his fellow pirates arrived with his best pistol. He murdered much of his annoying crew members with it. Now was his oppurtunity to use it on a real child troublemaker. He glanced at the flying Jim, who took Ariel aboard his surfer, and young Wendy right behind him. Ahh, finally the repayment for ruining the wedding. This ought to be great practice for meeting the demise of Pan's...
He adjusted the pistol at the ready, pointed it right at the flying teenage boy, and blasted!

Jim grapsed Ariel's outstretched hand and pulled her aboard, making a beeline for the Misty Lady. Then, something exploded... right through him. Jim watched in surpised horror as a bullet sailed right through his chest, throwing him off him surfer. Jim hit the Jolly Roger's deck with a thud.
Jim got to his feet in panic, his hand flying to his chest. There was a hole right through his shirt, along with a hole right through him. Jim stared wide-eyed at the wound. It didn't even hurt. He just felt... nothing. It wasn't even bleeding, like he was a corpse...
Jim's thoughts were ripped away from questioning why he should still be alive... or undead... as he watched Wendy and Ariel sail through the sky without a pilot.
"ARIEL!! WENDY!!! STEER IT!!" Jim shouted, praying that they could handle the surfer... Oh, how was he gonna fix this?!
Jim remembered the bullet. Who had shot him in the first place? Jim wheeled around to see Hook with a pistol. Of course. Jim's face twisted into a snarl. He had a bone to pick with the captain...
And if the curse prevented him from dying... Jim gave a twisted smile as he drew his cutlass. He could be as reckless as he wanted.
"I believe you shot me?" Jim said cooly, pointing his blade at Hook.

Boom!
Their pilot was gone. "--Jim!" cried Wendy with such fright... He had been helplessly pushed off his surfer out of some brisk force. But Wendy couldn't make out what it was that sent him off so quickly. And he was falling through midair. He would face a certain death. "Oh, no!" She choked between frightened tears, but her hands remained on the surfer's sail. With their pilot gone, and none of the girls able to control the odd transportation device, they'd meet their demise just as well...
Another loud thud! came from down below, and Jim was probably deceased already... but he was standing up! Not a single flaw came across his appearance. He stood upright without the slightest sprain in his ankles. No blood was splattered. Only confusion spread across his youthful face...
"Ho-how?!" cried a wide-eyed Hook in disbelief. "I shot you down, boy! And that hole! Why are you not bleeding?!" he demanded to know what kind of boy was he. He couldn't be immortal like the blasted Pan. Hawkins here was completely unaffected by his deadly weapons!
But he dared to challenge the captain to a fight. Ha, a cutlass. It stood no match for Hook's beloved sword... or even his blasted Hook he swore at so often. "Dare to fight me man-to-man? No time to run away like a cowardly sparrow..." He would surely finish him this time, even if mhis pistol did not meet his demise yet..
"Well, let's have at it!!" He drew out his sword from its sheath, and swiped it around the boy. Maybe he'd try to knock him overboard of the ship...

Jim furiously parried Hook's swipes as the two dueled, wheels turning in Jim's head. He had to get back on that surfer... and off of the Jolly Roger, which they would soon blow to pieces!
Then, a rather nasty idea came to Jim's head... the teenager fixed Hook with an impish smile in spite of Hook's advantage in the art of sword fighting. "You know that whatever you do, you'll never be able to kill me!" Jim taunted over the cannon blasts, giving Hook's rapier a harder smack than usual.
"What do you mean, boy?!" Hook shouted back, incredulous. "You're just as young and vulnerable as that Peter Pan! Even if my best pistol couldn't send you to the locker, a sword through the heart will!"
Jim pretended to look surprised. "Oh, is that all you wanted?" he said as he took a quick jump away from the captain. Jim pointed his own cutlass at his heart and plunged it through. Jim flashed a deadly smile at Hook and drew his blood-soaked cutlass out, shrugging.
”That-that’s impossible!” Hook cried, stabbing the teenager with his own rapier. Hook’s hands began to shake as his own sword yielded the same result. “B-but how?”
Jim looked down at the sword through his belly as if it were a fly buzzing around, then swatted Hook’s hand away and yanked the sword out of him. “Do you believe in ghosts, captain?” Jim said coolly and devilishly, advancing on Hook.
"It's not possible!" Hook cried, shrinking away from Jim as he drew closer.
"Oh, but it is..." Jim said ominously, the dark night that was begining to settle over the sea accenting his improvised story. "You think you could get rid of all your opposition by simply leaving us to die. We did die... but we just couldn't stay away." Jim smiled as he cornered Hook on the ship's railing. "We came back for a little revenge."
With that, Jim socked Hook in the jaw, and the terrified captain fell overboard with a splash. Back to Wendy...
Jim swung up onto the shrouds and climbed up to the crow's nest, frantically waving to the girls on the surfer.
"Wendy! Ariel! Try to steer the surfer over to me! I'm gonna try and jump on!"

Ariel barely managed to stay on the surfer herself as without warning Jim was blown backwards off it. With a loud mechanical grinding, the transport began to rock and shake violently, complaining about the lack of a pilot. It was obvious to her that she had to do something; otherwise both her and Wendy would be hurled down to the deck below, right into the heaving throng of angry pirates.
“Hold on!” cried Ariel desperately, keeping her arms around the younger girl to make sure she was secure and nervously taking control of the surfer. It was awkward work with Wendy’s feet in the restraints; however she managed to find the throttle with one foot, so kept it pressed half down so that they didn’t run out of power. She twisted the control bar around experimentally, yelling involuntarily in shock as the simple action sent the surfer into a wild spiral that threatened to throw her off all over again.
“Sorry,” she muttered to Wendy, straightening up the controls once again and sighing in relief as it straightened up the platform once again. Ariel twisted the control again, softer this time, and although it wasn’t the smoothest turn the surfer responded the way she wanted it to and arced around back towards the Misty Lady. She grabbed onto the mast of Teague’s ship as she passed, using the momentum to spin the surfer around back towards Hook’s ship and the battle rapidly increasing in size.
“Yes!” she exclaimed happily as she began to figure out the controls, weaving the surfer through the barrage of gunshots that rang up from the Pirates on the deck. She kicked on the throttle, speeding towards her cursed friend… and overshooting. Groaning, she pulled on the control sharply and twisted it around again back towards the ship. Unfortunately they were moving to fast and instead of aiming for the deck were speeding towards the cabin instead.
“Look out!” she screamed, pulling Wendy down flat against the surfer. Ariel managed to alter the course just enough to zip towards the window instead. Fortunately as she leant down she managed to hit the correct button with her knee, flattening the surfer’s sail so that it wasn’t damaged as with a crash the vessel burst through the window, smashing through the ship’s cabin instead. Yelping, she twisted around on the controls, allowing them to avoid most of the furniture, although there were still some items that were smashed under the surfer’s power until they burst out of the opposite window once again.
“Are you okay?” she asked with concern, helping Wendy upright once again before twisting the surfer around once again back towards the crow's nest where Jim was waiting. She timed it right the second time, slowing the engine to a rather bumpy halt beside the cursed teenager.
“Get on!” she exclaimed, leaning down from the surfer to help Jim up again.

Jim leapt off of the shrouds and grabbed the end of the surfer as it stalled near the mast, clambering back on.
"Sweet flying." he said to Ariel with a wink, firing the engine back up. The surfer spat out a jet of yellow flame before Jim took a lap around the Jolly Roger, loading a pistol before turning the sufer in a steep dive.
"Hang on... we're gonna finish this." Jim said as he sped past the pirates on deck, heading for the ship's hold. He piloted the surfer on a dime, carefully avoiding crates and barrels piled throughout. Jim finally found what he was looking for: gunpowder.
He grabbed the girls and held them to the surfer as he flipped the board around and sped for the exit, firing a few shots into the barrels. A resounding explosion took the hold as Jim raced the inferno, narrowly escaping as he crashed out onto the deck.
"Check and mate!" Jim said triumphantly, making a beeline for the Misty Lady as the Jolly Roger began to take on water.
Jim came to a halt on the deck, where the rest of the crew was cheering in the starlight. Carefully, he lifted Ariel and Wendy off his surfer, then took Wendy in a hug. No words were needed to express how happy he was that she was safe.

Ariel held on tightly as Jim scrambled onto the surfer and took over the controls, speeding away back around the ship. He was a lot more skilled then she was, and showed it by flying much faster then Ariel had. She tried to keep her weight even so it wouldn’t throw off Jim’s balance, grinning as the wind whipped through her hair. Suddenly they were below the deck again, and as they sped past a large fireball erupted around them that she could only assume Jim was responsible.
“Faster…” she muttered nervously, glancing back at the inferno as it gained on them until finally they burst out into the open air again, back towards the safety of the Misty Lady. She cheered, almost falling off again as her grip loosened for a moment.
“That was incredible!” exclaimed Ariel as they landed, half being lifted off the surfer and half leaping, “Jim you have got to teach me how to use one of them properly!” She glanced back at the burning ship for a moment, relieved to see that the water rushing into it was putting out the fire. Call it a lingering sentiment from her time under the sea, but Ariel preferred water to fire by a long way.
“Where’s Teague?” she asked suddenly, looking around at the assembled crew. It wasn’t like the Captain of the Misty Lady to not be present, especially considering all of his friends who has been in danger tonight. Yes he was no-where to be seen.

With their pilot still absent, the two girls were still flying in the air. Goodness, pixie dust was never this dangerous!
And Wendy did not dare to handle such an obscure transport item - she was too concerned for Jim, who stood on steady feet. Swords drew out from both Hook and the teenager. She would expect another fierce swordfight.. Oh, Jim, do be careful!
Princess Ariel ventured to handle the surfer as she embraced Wendy in her arms for protection. The child's feet were nearly slipping, and soon she'd fall overboard into the ocean.. Like an innocent child, she carefully wrapped her arms around Ariel, trusting her that she'd land them to safety... Gunshots and cannon-booming continued from down below as a mob of pirates proceeded to blasting them...
But Ariel escaped the fray, and.. Splash! When Wendy finally opened her eyes, the Hook could be heard screaming with fright down below... He was destroyed, finally! She would have childishly grinned with overjoy, but was struck with terror at the sight of a bloody Jim and his bloody cutlass...
In the crow's nest, he hopped onto the surfer and took control. She sped past various pirates with intense speed. The next moment, a loud KA-BOOM! brought about an enormous flash of red flames... She opened her tight eyes, and down below the Jolly Roger went down in flames.. Wendy sighed with relief. They were victorious!
The surfer then reached the Mist Lady and their survivors cheering for their victory. Once the surfer came to a complete halt, one bye one the teenagers leaped off. Before she could even reach back on the ground, Jim pulled her into a brief hug... She flushed a faded red.. and broke into a fairly obscure, appalled smile. She briefly returned the hug as she sighed with comfort. She was probably blood-soaked from his bleeding body, but that didn't matter now... This moment might just be the right time to. . .
She broke into a beautiful grin, the end of her lips curling. She slightly broke away from the hug and stared right into his blue, youthful eyes. They were simply charming. Wendy kept her face fairly near his before she closed her eyes, pursed her red lips, and stood on the tips of her toes... I think I'll give you a kiss.[/b]
(Your cue, Peter ;])

Jim held her tighter as she hugged him back, wishing he could feel her warmth. Emotions pounded the barrier that the curse had formed in his mind and body, feelings leeching through to his consciousness. He seemed hypnotized by her blue orbs that stared straight into his, pulling him in to a universe of that same, calm blue, as flawless as a clear Etherium sky. Not a cloud passed over her happy expression, and Jim could not look away. He felt as if he was floating in the blue expanse of her eyes without a surfer, without anything to fly with, and yet... he was soaring.
Jim found himself with a silly grin, hardly comparable to Wendy's own dazzling smile. Jim had never seen her so happy in his life. Without warning, Wendy's face slowly drew closer to his. Jim was nearly hyperventilating as her cherry lips pursed, and her starry eyes closed. Even more surprising was how Jim involuntarily tilted his head to one side, his own lips drawing dangerously close to Wendy's. His eyelids slowly closed as wrapped one hand around her shoulders, the other along her waist. He waited a beat, savoring the moment in the starlight...
As his lips touched hers, the soft, silver light of the moon rose above the horizon.
The silver rays swathed everything they touched in moonlight, giving the scenery a deep blue glow. But when the soft light touched Jim...
Through half-closed eyes, Jim saw the hand that rested on Wendy's shoulders change the dreamlike moment into a nightmare. In an instant, his flesh seemed to deteriorate from his very bones, leaving only a ghastly skeletal hand behind. Jim pulled away from Wendy with a terrified gasp, flexing the bones. To his horror, they moved acoordingly. Jim staggered back, looking at himself in a frenzy. What had happened?! Everything that was once human was reduced to a ghostly skeleton, and his clothes draped over his bones in rags. Blue eyeballs gazed out of the sockets in his skull, and his nose had disappeared. What was left of his ears held a single gold hoop, and a matted crop of brown hair clung to the top of his skull, a twisted ponytail from the base. I'm a... monster... Jim thought, his jawbone hanging slack as he gaped at his transformation.
Jim backed away from Wendy as far as he could, catching the ship's railing for support. Slowly, he sank down to his knees and let loose a wail, unrestrained in all its animal strength.
((Ahem... care to make me feel any worse, Fairy Boy?))

((Oooh good post xD. For the record - I LOVE JIM. But Peter isn't going to be too fond of him. )) This was it. This was the time. He had defeated the ol' cod fish in Never Land and now it was time to defeat him in the park. He just doesn't know when to quit Peter thought angrily, running up the roof of a nearby building and leaping off the end to get more power. Flying was of course second nature to him now, he could no longer remember a time when he traveled place to place by walking. Walking was so boring. This being the case, Peter was now using all his experience to get to Wendy as fast as possible. Although he had fought and beaten those other villains, Hook's plan had partly succeeded. It had held him up. What if he didn't get there in time? No he thought fiercely, That's not going to happen. With this thought, Peter opened his arms wide and pointed in toes, soaring higher and higher in to the air, his eyes peeled for any sign of a girl in a blue dress calling for him, Peter, the boy who would save her life. The boy who would always save her. As time went on however, Peter was starting to fear the worst. Why couldn't he find them? Hook should have been here. He dived dangerously, desperately searching for anything. The sun was beginning to set now and it was becoming harder to see, it wouldn't be long until all hope would be lost and darkness will have fallen. If only Tink was here. She'd be able to fly ahead and be a source of light for him, making this search much easier. Granted, Tinker Bell didn't like Wendy all that much (why this was, Peter had no idea), but she'd help if it was important to him. She didn't even know where he was, what was going on. What if he died... She'd never know. Peter shook his head, he could not think about that now. Wendy was in trouble and Peter was going to help her. He was so desperate to get to them he had almost forgotten how weird it was going to be when he saw her. That twisted sensation began to turn in his stomach, that stupid emotion that conflicted with the very nature of his being. He did not love, and yet he could hardly deny to himself what he felt for... Stop it he thought, angry with himself. That brought him down and he would not fall for that trick of Hook's again. He must be stronger this time. As the sun began to set further, Peter stopped flying for a moment and gazed down at his surroundings, his hand absentmindedly rubbing his chin. "Where are ya, Wendy?" He asked himself quietly. At that moment, he heard a scream from up ahead. Jerking his head toward the noise he saw two ships in the distance and what looked like a man with long black hair screaming and shouting in the water. Peter knew that scream all too well. It was Hook. But that meant... The fight couldn't be over could it? Was Wendy... Peter quickly soared through the air, diving closely toward the water, knowing in his heart that it was useless. Was she really...? But then, as if a ball of light was drawing him to her, there she was and Peter saw her at last. Safe and sound with two other figures he didn't recognize. She was saved! Excitement bubbling in his chest, he did a quick twirl and soared down toward her. "Wendy - Hey, Wendy!! It's me!" He called to her happily, wondering if she'd be happy to see him. As he drew nearer however, he noticed that she wasn't just with two other figures, she was really close to one of them... really really close. She was hugging someone.... And then Peter saw her do something he had only seen her do once before. It seemed Peter knew what she was going to do a second before she did it. A sudden feeling began to rise painfully in his chest, pressing down heavily on his insides and constricting his throat. What was this? "Wendy?" He said again as he landed lightly opposite them, but in a completely different voice this time. For the first time in such a long time, Peter looked in to the eyes of the one girl he would always remember.

Wendy felt buoyant.. floaty, flighty, like she was in mid-air. She wasn't knocked out senseless.. just.. smitten.
But it was all too brief. In less than a second Jim's lips broke away from hers, with a very frightened expression of horror.. Had they done something to cause trouble? "Jim? Wh-what's wrong?" she asked with curious, yet frightened eyes... The moon's rays darted right at him.. and he looked.. dreamingly charming under the bright light.. untill..
Swift! Swift! "Wendy?" came a familiar voice. Somewhere in the dark shrouds from above, where the moon did not point to, was a darkened figure that appeared to be flying. The black shadow figure darted down toward the two teenagers.. His voice was undeniably familiar... and so was his shadow... The brightest thing she could make out were the white, glowing eyes of mischief. A bright red feather stood atop some sort of hat.
"PETER!" she shrieked with astonishment. "Oh, Peter! Whatever are you doing here?!" Goodness, d-did he witness what had just happened? The kiss?! She flushed heavily with embarassment.. He, he shouldn't have!
Her attention was drawn away from Jim for only a brief moment.. until, she noted that he had drawn away from them. Was he offended by Peter's arrival? "Jim, it - it's not what it seems!" She held her hands up - she had to clear this confusion. And she too was confused herself - why did Jim hide with such shame?
He looked at her for a moment, and all Wendy could find were his icy, but kind blue eyes. The light still shined on him, but it wasn't creating such a dreamy sight to gawk at... The rest of his appearance.. is it wear ing away? "I don't understand.." she spoke, stepping forward to get a better picture...
But she only found herself jumping back.. "Ahh!" Her hands cupped her mouth with sheer terror. She gazed at a awe-struck Peter and a decayed-looking Jim. He wasn't even human.. but.. Wendy just couldn't find that new word for him..
"I demand someone to tell me what is happening!"
