The small group continued deeper and deeper into the mansion. Elisa continued to cast worried glances at Esmeralda, who was still lying unconscious in Goliath's arms. Unable to pull their friend out of whatever the evil spirit had done to her, and certainly not able to wait in the room for whatever else might come along, Goliath picked up the gypsy and they were on their way.
"Come back to us, Esme." Elisa whispered. "We can't do this without you."
Bronx whined and rubbed his head against Elisa's hand. She patted the gargoyle beast's head, grateful for the little bit of comfort he could offer.

Goliath, equally as worried about Esmeralda as the rest of the group, wondered what could have caused this. None of the other herbs or talismans the gypsy had on her did any good. He thought back to the spirit. Whatever it had done, Esmeralda was trapped within herself. Even now, she tossed and turned in his arms, fighting whatever it was that held her in her dream.
"Wait." Goliath said, suddenly stopping. "That's it!"
"What's it?" Elisa asked.
"It's just like all the other stories of women that had been placed under evil spells."
"What?" Elisa said. "Goliath, what are you talking about?"
"Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Giselle." Goliath said. "When they were cast under evil spells and trapped in their dreams, it took a kiss from their true love to wake them up."
"So you're saying Esmeralda needs to be kissed by her true love to wake up?" Elisa asked.
"Yes."

Elisa looked at Esmeralda. She was still struggling in Goliath's arms. It pained her to see her friend suffering, when all she could do was standby helplessly.
Elisa knew exactly who it would take to wake Esmeralda up. Esmeralda could deny, flirt, and flat out lie all she wanted to, but it was obvious to those who knew her. Her heart still, and always would, belong to Kovu the lion.
"But how are we going to get them together?" Elisa asked. "We still have no way of getting out of this place, and how would Kovu know what's happening?"
Elisa pulled out a handkerchief and gently wiped Esmeralda's brow, brushing her sweat-soaked raven locks away from her face.
"There must be a way..." Elisa said.

Post by Winnie the Pooh on Mar 7, 2009 0:18:51 GMT -5
Pooh had winced at every noise and sound that happened when Lucifer went in to attack the evil hungry looking creature with eight scary eyes. He kept his arms wide, just in case the creature came after Lady Tremaine, knowing this was all he could do to protect her. It wasn’t until he heard the loud scream and the sound of the spider running off that he noticed they were finally alone. Sighing softly he was grateful to Lucifer for chasing off the mean creature that had almost gobbled him and Lady Tremaine whole in one bite.
Pooh chuckled softly as Lucifer came up beside him, purring, and rubbed against him gently and he put his paw down Lucifer’s back, petting him. He continued to pet the soft kitty until he remembered Lady Tremaine and he looked up at her.
“You don’t suppose we should get her down, somehow?” he asked worriedly. “That web is awfully sticky.” He looked back at Lucifer wondering how they were going to get her down.
"I dont suppose you could use your claws to get her... down?" he suggested thoughtfully. "I would use my paws but they aren't as sharp as yours seem to be."

Chicken Little looked a a bit sad for his best friend Esmeralda as he looked around and saw the gargoyle known as Bronx as he smiled a bit from earlier. "Umm thanks" he said as he shooked a bit while petting Bronx by the head hoping it was nice. He then listened on about how true love can wake up the curse and then looked around for any open that can be small for him to go in and make a signal for Kovu. "If theres an opening I can try to give sort of a signal to Kovu but its a longshot."

Elisa continued to run her fingers through Esmeralda's hair. She was only half listening to the conversations around her. Worry for her friend was gripping her so much that she couldn't focus on anything else. Not what led them here, not the fact that they were still in danger, not even escaping this God-forsaken place.
Her eyes fell on a golden chain around Esmeralda's neck. Curious, she reached for the chain, pulling out a round amulet. A midnight blue backround, tiny diamonds served as stars around a pearl crescent moon. A silver misty shape appeared to pass over it. She ran her thumb over the image, gasping as a strange feeling went through her.
It was as if her spirit was leaving her body. She released the amulet, and the out of body experience faded.
"Wow." Elisa whispered, when she was struck with an idea.
"Yes! I can use this!" Elisa whispered, unclasping the chain around Esmeralda's neck and placing it around her own.
"What?" Goliath asked.
"With this amulet, my spirit can leave this place!" Elisa said. "I can find Kovu and bring him here."
"Elisa, it's too dangerous!" Goliath said.
"What am I supposed to do?" Elisa demanded. "She's running out of time, Goliath, if we don't get her help, she'll die!"
A steely resolve was set in Elisa's eyes.
"I won't let her die. Not if I can help her."
Without waiting for argument, Elisa grasped the amulet with both hands, and the next thing she knew, her spirit was hovering above the group.
"I'll be fine." Elisa said, flying towards the roof and out of the mansion.
Now she just had to find Kovu.

Lucifer listened to the little bear. Once again he unsheathed his razor sharp claws and clawed at the cobweb. Lady Tremaine landed on the floor with a dunk, that caused her to wake up. Lucifer snickered evilly at the ungraceful manner in which she had landed on the floor. Lady Tremaine stood up and brushed off her dress and straightened her hair with her hands.
"Oh, my head is killing me! What happened?"
She noticed the teddy bear and glared at him, before she remembered she had been goosed by Elisa to be nice to him during this thread.
"I guess I owe you thanks for saving me from that spider," she sighed. "Do you have a name, fluffy stuff?"

Before Goliath could argue with Elisa, she grasped the strange amulet in her hands. Her eyes turned into an eerie silver before her spirit rose out of her body. With no spirit, her body immediately grew limp, falling to the ground.
"Elisa!"
Goliath rushed for her, but with Esmeralda in his arms... Luckily, Bronx was ready to break Elisa's fall. The gargoyle beast positioned himself below her body, and moved away slowly, letting Elisa's body gently come to the ground.
Elisa hovered above them, outlined in a silver mist. Her voice had a strange echo to it.
"I'll be fine." She said, before soaring out of the mansion without another word.
Goliath sighed. Elisa left before he could warn her of such magics. If she didn't return to her body within the hour, her body would die, and her spirit would roam the earth alone.

Pooh winced a little, closing both eyes when Lady Tremaine landed on the floor, rather ungracefully and he opened one eye and then the other when she got up. He looked towards Lucifer, hearing him snicker evilly and then looked up at Lady Tremaine when she spoke about her head killing her. Pooh had been about to say something when he noticed the mean old lady glaring at him and he tried to avoid her eyes.
He was surprised when Lady Tremaine said thanks for saving her from the spider and looked up at her curiously. He hadn’t done much, only what he could and even then it wasn’t really much at all.
“My names Winnie the Pooh,” he exclaimed, grinning. “Or Pooh for short. What... what is your name?” He looked up at her curiously and then cringed just as another clap of thunder could be heard, this time it seemed as if it shook the whole house and Pooh lost his footing falling forward into Lady Tremaine. “Oh bother... I’m sorry,” he said pulling back from her in fear. “Do you think... think we should be going now?”

Lady Tremaine rubbed her forehead. She had a headache going on, and was not in the mood for arguing or fighting. So just for once in her life, she tried to be friendly. When the bear presented himself as Winnie the Pooh, she smiled. Pooh? That was a word she didn't use in her family. ;D "Well, then. I will call you Winnie if you don't mind. My name is Jeanne-Claudiné Frollo Tremaine. Claudiné or Claudia for short. They are the same name, the first is the French version, and the other is the English version. I was born in France, but my first husband was English." Another clap of thunder made the teddy bear cringe and fall towards her, and to prevent them from getting delayed from him falling every time it thundered, she picked him up, and carried him on her arm. The thunder didn't scare her, like it did to him. She liked thunder and lightening, just as much as her brother Frollo was spellbound by flames. "Well, we might as well try to get out of here, she said calmly, opening the door to the next room. ((Pooh, I leave to you to decide what room they come into next ))
