Jane huffed and folded her arms. "I was trying to defend myself!" She reasoned. She didn't fight with fire, she fought with a miniature tree. And clearly, Peter fought with a sword - Jane flinched as he pointed it at the Lord of the Dead.
Jane couldn't help but laugh a little when Persephone got angry - he certainly deserved that! Jane listened intently to her story - it made sense that he kidnapped her in the first place. That sounded more like the Hades she knew and loathed. It still left her bewildered that they actually managed to fall in love.
"Unbelievable," Jane muttered to herself.

A twitch of Persephone's finger, and a vine sprung out of the ground, wrapping around the little sword and tucking it back in Peter's belt.
Very flatly, she stated, "Don't even think about it," and crossed her arms.
When he asked about Hades visiting her, persephone turned to ehr husband.
And Hades said, "Because her mom doesn't like me, and hates that Seph spends so much time with me...and therefore has made it so when I only get her for half the year, I really only get her for half the year."
He ignored Jane's defensive outburst, but both heard her mutter, 'Unbelievable' under her breath.
"You don't believe us," said Persephone, glancing at Hades, who appeared to be amused, "You think that there's no way that we--" She gestured to her and Hades,"--could ever fall for each other. Right?"
After a second, she added, "What, do you want proof or something?"

Peter sniggered slightly as he heard Jane's mutter under her breath as she spoke of the weirdness of what they were hearing. He didn't understand it either - not that he wanted to though. It was all a bit... Urgh for him anyway.
Peter jumped in shock as a root pushed itself out of the ground and made for his sword. This he hadn't banked on. Instead of taking the sword off him however, the plant simply forced Peter's outstretched arm to put the sword back in to his belt. "Hey!" he exclaimed angrily at the two of them. Who gave them the right to do that? Peter hated being controlled.
"Eewww!" Said Peter, making a face of disgust, "I'd rather not have a front row seat if that's all right with you, lady."

Jane folded her arms, like the Finishing School brats that she loathed. Oh well, she was just in that kind of mood, she supposed. But honestly, all of this was just absolutely ludicrous! She could see that the boy who could fly clearly agreed with her.
"Proof," Jane began. "Right."
Jane was being rather sarcastic in the moment. What kind of proof could they have! She just hoped that a Hades-and-Persephone-smoochfest wasn't in order. She looked up and blew a stray hair away from her face. Why did she always seem to get in the middle of things like this?

Picking up on Jane's sarcasm, Hades flashed a fanged grin at her.
"Sorry, babe, I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific then just 'proof.'" He paused, and his grin grew wider.
"I mean, 'proof' can mean a lot of things....I can name a few that you two--" He gestured to Jane and Peter "--do NOT want to see."
Persephone supressed a smile.
"So...what kind of proof do you want?" she said.

"Woah woah woah!" Said Peter putting his fingers in his ears. "I said no proof! No proof for me!" He gently lifted off the ground and went and sat cross-legged on a ledge so they he was still relatively close but it now was harder to hear them with his fingers now wedged in his ears.
"I don't think anyone will want to see what you just implied, oh Great One," pointed out Peter, his tone getting more and more sardonic. "I mean, I know I'm just a boy but that doesn't mean I'm stupid. You think because - Urgh, look just stop it, it's disgusting!" He blurted out angrily at the end as he realised what a disturbing and unsettling topic this was for a boy of his youth. Why would he want to talk about that?

Jane had to admit, she quite agreed with the boy. But of course, she wouldn't show her discontempt. Whatever happened, she was still a lady, and ladies did keep their dignity. Though this situation was - to say the least - rather scandalous.
Jane kept her sarcastic demeanor - even as the boy scoffed at the subject of love. Jane just decided she wouldn't say anything. But oh, she just couldn't resist.
"I doubt you have any kind of proof, to be honest," Jane added in.
