<<Panchito's hotel is Coronado Springs. Since there is no section for it, I just post it in one of the hotel areas>>
It was Cinco de Mayo once more, one of Panchito's favorite holidays.
He wasn't sure if anyone would come to his fiesta to celebrate Mexican independence, as he hadn't met a single person from Me-hi-co in the parks. But all were welcome.
There would be food and music, of course, and a limbo contest, but best of all was the pinata. It was no a party without a pinata.

As Our Hero was walking along, he noticed that there was a party being set up.
"Hey, Panchito!" Our Hero said, remembering him from the talent show. "Who's birthday is it?"
The flamingo examined all the decorations. He thought it looked like a lot of fun and really wanted to join in on it.

<<Welcome, my little pink friend!>>
Panchito looked up as his name was called. It was his good amigo from the talent show.
"Hola, Nuestro Héroe! Good to see you again!"
The rooster held his sombrero over his heart, looking about as solemn as he was capable of looking. "Why, the birthday of my country, Me-hi-co."
Okay, the solemnity didn't last more than a few seconds.
"Come celebrate with me, my friend. There will be music and dancing." And pretty girls, he hoped.
"And at the end of the party, the pinata!" Panchito pointed up to the colorful object hanging from a tree limb.
<<Guess I should've mentioned the party is on the patio outside Panchito's hotel room.>>

Chicken was walking along as usual in the halls of the hotel trying to think of something fun today when he heard some lively festive music going on at the patio area as he was curious. As he made his way he recognized Panchito right away as he waved to get attention. "Hello there, say whats with all the festive stuff looks like a celebration going on"

"Sounds like fun!" Our Hero said to Panchito. "I'm definitely sticking around for this one!"
Our Hero really did enjoy a good party. He didn't get to have many of these back home. At least not fun ones anyway. He was also mainly interested in the pinata Panchito had set up. Maybe it had not only candy, but little yo-yo treats in it as well. He sure hoped so!
He then turned his attention to the chicken.
"Hi, I'm Our Hero!" he greeted him. "Who are you?"

<<Welcome, CL. We poultry have to stick together ;) >>
Panchito looked up to see Chicken Little coming his way.
" 'ey, amigo, good to see you!" He gave CL's feathers a serious noogie as he spoke.
Now it was beginning to look like a party!
"Today, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo, the...how you say, day of independence for my country of Me-hi-co."
"Do you like the nachos?" continued Panchito, offering his guests some snacks.

Chicken was met with a playful noogie by Panchito as the rooster told him about Cinco de Mayo which he remember about in school before. He then noticed a new bird and waved but was a bit perplexed about his name. "Nice to meet you, Our Hero" he said as he heard the word nachos and perked up. "Of course i enjoy nachos" he said

"Nice to meet you, too!" Our Hero said to Chicken Little.
He then turned back to Panchito and looked at the nachos curiously. "I've never had these before," he finally told him. "We flamingos mainly just eat brine shrimp and stuff. That's why our feathers are so pink. But I'm up for trying anything!"
He then grabbed a bunch of cheesy nachos and stuffed them in his beak.
"Mmm!" These are good!" Our Hero said after a minute. "I'll definitely have to have some more! Panchito, got any other foods I can try? And Chicken Little, what do you recommend?"

"If you like that, perhaps you should try these habaneros."
Panchito produced a jar of the hot peppers. He personally liked spicy food; in fact, the hotter, the better. It never occurred to the vacquero that they might be too hot for some people.

"Okay!" Our Hero said, grabbing some of the hot peppers and stuffing them in his beak.
He quickly realized this was a big mistake. His mouth was burning from the hotness intensely and needed to find water fast. He ran over to the pool and submerged his entire head into it. He took it back out of the water about half a minute later and shook it off.
"I think I'll just stick to the nachos..." Our Hero slowly said, not liking the hot peppers in particular.

Panchito scratched his head in wonder that somebody didn't like hot peppers. Oh, well...
"Perhaps you would like to try the limbo, yes? It is muy divertido...very much fun!"
He turned up the Latin music on the radio and showed his friends the pole suspended horizontally between two posts.
"This is the limbo bar. To play, you must pass under the bar. But no la toque! Do not touch it. I show you."
The rooster faced the bar, which was set chest-high, and bent slowly backward until he was able to walk under. Straightening on the other side, he shouted, "Ole! Now you try."

"Alright, I'll give it a shot," Our Hero said, examining the pole.
He then bent down in his unusual way (flamingo legs do bend backwards after all) and attempted to walk under. Unfortunately, he collapsed right away, sending the bar with him.
"I'm not having very much fun here..." Our Hero admitted. "The peppers were too hot and I can't limbo for my life! There's gotta be something here I'd like!"

<<Sorry about the wait. I thought CL might want to post in there>>
Panchito laughed in a friendly way at the flamingo's attempt at the Limbo.
"Mi amigo, maybe you should try something else. Do you like to dance?
Without waiting for an answer, the rooster threw his sombrero on the ground and said, "Come. I will teach you el Jarabe Tapatio."
He began to show Our Hero the steps, clapping and stomping to the rhythm. Panchito was a very good dancer, and he knew all the traditional Mexican steps.

((OOC-Forgive me I was gone over the weekend at the beach))
Chicken studied the hot peppers in the jar and was a bit curious to give one a try even though he saw Our Hero try one and raced for the pool. "Alright i guess one won't hurt besides its a celebration whats it gonna cost" he said as he took a hot pepper out and gave it a go. However moments after he ate the pepper Chicken felt a hot feeling going on him as minutes later his mouth was hot from the pepper as he jumped up in shock. "H H H HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!" He cried out as he leaped up and landed in the pool to cool off

"Guess we both learned our lesson about the peppers!" Our Hero called after him.
He then turned back to Panchito. "I guess I could try your dance," he said. "I've been forced to dance enough with The Snotty Six already, so this should be easy!"
And he was right. Our Hero quickly picked up on Panchito's dance steps.
"Finally something I can do without having to jump into the pool or fall over!" he happily said.
