It was almost time for the fireworks display to begin. Panchito watched the show almost every night. He loved fireworks--the colors, the smoke, the noise...
Lately, he'd been thinking how much fun it would be to set off a few of his own fireworks some night. But it wasn't easy to get near the castle when they were shooting them off each night.
Now, as it was getting near to some big Yankee holiday, they were shooting off extra fireworks in different places in the park. And, just by chance, Panchito had parked himself pretty near to the launching area in Tomorrowland.
"How easy it would be to sneak over there and set off a few of those," he said to himself.

For Stitch it was just another typical day in Tomorrowland for the alien as he crawled around hoping that something interesting can come up. He then looked up and noticed a strange spanish looking bird up to something as he looked a bit curious onto what was going on as he scurried around a bit.

<<Welcome, Stitch. When I realized that our two mischievous characters have never met, I had to start a thread>>
Panchito whistled nonchalantly, pretending he was just killing time, watching a pair of castmembers set up the display.
From where he stood, the rooster could hear the first hombre say he was going for some coffee.
Now there was only castmember left. This was his chance. But, how was he to distract this fellow? Hmmm....

Stitch perked up as he saw the bird looking as if he is about to plot something as he stayed close but not too close to make a commotion as he watched a castmember left while the other one stayed behind.

Panchito looked around to see if anyone was watching and spotted a blue dog nearby. A blue dog?
The vacquero was no dog-lover; in Mexico, they were mostly strays and nuisances. But he was never needlessly cruel to animals, even if he didn't particularly like them.
He placed a finger before his beak and winked mischievously at the dog. Then, sauntering over to the fireworks hombre, Panchito hailed him.
"Perdón, senor, but I think your girlfriend is looking for you. At least, she says she is looking for..." a quick glance at the man's nametag was all he needed, "...Craig."
"My girlfrined?" asked Craig.
"Si, a very, very beautiful blonde girl, over by the water fountain." Panchito pointed, and the gullible employee hurried over to find the non-existent girl.
Now, Panchito got to work. He wouldn't have much time, and he intended to make the most of it, looking over the various fireworks and pulling some matches from his pocket.

Stitch watched as the bird somehow got the other cast member to leave so that he can get to what appeared to be fireworks. "Kaboooom light up" The alien spoke as he followed the bird starting to be more curious than ever.

Oh, it was a talking dog. That put a different light on things.
"Buenos tardes, Senor Perro. My name is Panchito. How are you this evening?"
The dog seemed pretty interested in what Panchito was doing.
"Do you like the fireworks also? You can help me to shoot them off if you want to."

As the bird introduced himself as Panchito Stitch stood up from his walking on all fours mode as he begin to speak in his gibberish.
"Stitch....Me enjoy Fireworks. Where they at?" The alien said as he looked a bit hyper while loooking around.

Caramba! Panchito hadn't expected the dog to stand up. In fact, it was beginning to look less and less like a dog at all.
Oh, well, he didn't really care. Time to get down to the fun part.
Panchito picked up a pair of rockets. "These are the fireworks. Take all you can carry and let us vamoose!"
The castmembers would be back any minute, so Panchito wasted no time filling his arms with the explosives.

Ronno, being his mischievous self, took a gander at sneaking around the back areas of the park which had no public access and caught his eye on Panchito (whom he had met once before) and a strange-looking blue creature he had not seen before. By witnessing their actions from a distance, he assumed that they could be plotting something bad and yet probably cool at the same time, and so, seeing some positive interest in this scheme, he trotted up to them and said in a cool manner but with an evil smile, "Hey, there. You look like you need some help. Mind if I tag along?"

" 'ey, mi amigo Ronno, long time no see!"
"This is Stitch. We are going to make our own fireworks show. Do you want to help?"
The more the merrier as far as Panchito was concerned.
"I have enough rockets here. Let us go! Rápidamente, my friends."
The rooster hurried away from the scene of the crime.

Stitch was about to follow Panchito and what appeared to be a fawn along for the firework show when he heard some footsteps. The alien tilted his head and turned around noticing from a distance a castmember was coming by as he jumped up in shock. "Uh Oh someone coming look out."

At Stitch's warning, the rooster shot a quick glance over his shoulder.
"Ai, yi, yi! That will spoil the fun, I bet!"
Panchito dived headfirst into the bushes, hoping to still pull it off.

Raising his ears to sense someone coming, he turned his neck around to see the cast member approach from afar and quickly jumped into the same bush with Panchito, crouching low and peeking through it to see if the cast member would not suspect anything and resume his normal business.
"A 'fireworks' show, eh?" Ronno asked the rooster in a low voice. "Sounds like my kind of thing. Anything I can do to make it all happen?"

"Si! Keep quiet and hold this."
Panchito handed Ronno a rocket. He figured they'd better shoot these things as soon as possible, or they were bound to be caught.
