Killing MANY [meaning l o t s] of people, just for being involved somehow with piracy ^.^

Oooh, they have to have an awesome wardrobe - very high-class stuff. An evil laugh naturally, erms... The clothing has to be dark! Have insane, but sometimes humorous ideas to take over something or to kill or hurt an innocent character... OH! and carrying a sinister looking staff is also cool. ;D

Well, Hades doesn't have an evil laugh (in fact, in an Aladdin/Hercules crossover episode, he keeps making fun of Jafar for having one....)
But, I think you have to kill someone.
Or at least make an obvious effort to.
Hades tried to kill his nephew. Scar killed his brother and tried to kill his nephew. Frollo killed or tried to kill....well....almost everyone. Queen Grimhilde tried to kill Snow White. Maleficent tried to kill Aurora. Yzma tried to kill Kuzco, and Jafar tried to kill Aladdin.
But that's not all.
You have to be...well....mean, devious, smart...evil (duh.)
I could really go on and on, but, ya know, I won't.

Now if villains were to have a competition what evil deeds would you have them do to determine who is the villainous villian?

What makes a villain a villain? Well, for one thing, a villain is meant to show antagonism mainly towards the hero or heroine, and s/he also serves as an adversary toward others around him/her. Of course, not every antagonist in many stories out there are necessarily villains; Ronno, for example, wouldn't really be considered a villain, even though he does try to bring Bambi and his friends down a lot. Now if villains were to have a competition what evil deeds would you have them do to determine who is the villainous villian? I'd say...have there be a tournament of villains in which those villains with certain powers (magical or non-magical) could have duals and see who has more power over all! Muahahaha!

And so enters the QUEEN of Disney Villains. Now what makes a disney villain? It's a great question, but one that requires sever understanding (hears groans from people who have heard this before.) I know, but we can learn from this!
Now in my studies to be a villain you must have very animated eyes and facial features, with high arched eyebrows, light bags under the lids, sometimes even long eye lashes, a wide grin or sometimes even a sedate smirk.
Color is key...I've noticed that five main colors are used on villains, purple, black (predominant), red, blue, and green. You will find these colors SOMEWHERE to EVERYWHERE on a Disney Villain...
The topic of body structure is simply this, LARGER THAN LIFE...Ursula, Jafar, Maleficent, Hook, Hades, Cruella, Grimhilde all are very larger than life characters that steal the show just by showing up. And they are always very classy and elegant, or very regal even if they are in poor housing...a voice actor need not be needed when you look at some of these villain...take away the voice and you still get the same feel of fear (or joy if you're me.)
Now onto the subject of power, witchcraft is in constant use when it comes to women...only women villains I know that didn't use potions or spells are Lady Tremaine (I refuse to count the third movie) and Madame Medusa. Men use "cunning" or brute strength...or other times some form of magic.
Now we've gone over look, presence, and powers, let's go onto crime. Villains are not pennyweights....they know what they're doing and don't care about the consequences. Some go from petty thievery and kidnapping...all the way up to murder and resurrecting the dead. I have seen villains even lead to child abuse to get what they want....but then again most of the princesses are still in the child age range.
Standings are also very important when it comes to making a villain...a villain won't be some kid off the street looking for a bad time...it would a be Queen...captain....coachman...or someone who was at high standing and then knocked down (this includes Bowler Hat Guy....and even Edgar the butler.)
Sidekicks are also rather important because they show the other side of the villain. Hades has pain and panic...what does Hades do when plans don't go his way and his brother or Herc is around...he's in pain and is panicking. Ursula has flotsam and jetsam, glamorous Ursula, but underneath you have slippery and slimy as an actual personality and what is slippery and slimy? That's right Flotsam and Jetsam.
Object of interests like staffs, shells, boxes, things like that are also important because that can be a source of power from the villain. Madame Medusa had her shot gun, Ursula her shell, Hook his...well ya know.
Well I think I covered the bases on what makes a disney villain and reinforced it....it's good to be a villain freak!
