Jack sailed his small boat towards the island of Tortuga. It was a peaceful night along the streets except for a few fights towards the entrance of the pub and inside. He docked his boat and walked into the pub and sat at the bar. Wanting to get drunk tonight he ordered two large jars of rum for himself then payed the bartender.
Jack finished off his rum and walked towards a lonely table that was closest towards the pirate fights. He placed his boots on the table having them cross one over the other and leaned back in his chair and watched the pirates go at eachother. He would also occasionly get a woman to fall drunkly into his lap and he would smirk as they did. It was a very entertaining night in Tortuga. This was the many reasons why he loved this place so much.

Elizabeth sat at one of the tables in a tavern in Tortuga. Yes, she still disliked the place but it had been too long since she'd let loose and had a little fun. Especially since Lillian came along. Of course before she came here, she'd arranged for a baby sitter, telling the elderly woman to stay the night, seeing as she couldn't see herself going home for a little while, at least. A couple of other people had sat with her for a friendly chat and she was really getting into the conversation when she noticed someone walk in and head to the bar. A smirk appeared as she watched Jack. She knew she'd be seeing him tonight.
Elizabeth excused herself from the group politely and picked her way over to the table where Jack now sat. When she noticed a woman in his lap, Elizabeth pulled her up by the back of her dress, and pushed her on her way. She was still smirking when the woman gave her an evil glare, but she didn't hang around to challenge Elizabeth. Elizabeth then plonked herself down on one of the seats. "Well, hello. Fancy seeing you here." Her tone was light and teasing. Oh yes, she needed a fun night out.

Barbossa waited for the people around him to take their turn. The pirate across from him sloppily chugged the rest of his rum, some of the drink spilling down his shirt. He glared at Barbossa lazy-eyed, a suspicious smirk on his face. Other pirates roughhoused and shouted over each other by the table. The table rocked and jumped as a result, but didn't disrupt the card playing in the slightest.
"Ye best be makin' yer call, young gent. I have not all day." He said cheekily, his smug grin on his face.
The pirate chuckled. "Barbossa, Barbossa. You are a smart man you know that?" He said, his voice slurring.
"Iye, that be true. And since ye be so agreeable, I think it be in yer best interest to throw in yer hand." He said, seriously, eyebrows raised in a challenge towards him.
There was a moment when both pirates glared at each other. The drunken pirate tried to figure out what was behind Barbossa's smugness. After a moment, he shook his head. "No." He smiled. "No, no, double th' loot, ye scalleywag." He slammed his hand on the table decisively. "Now...what ya got?"
"You're a courageous man, that is t' be sure." He put his hand down. A straight flush. "But I was only wantin' what was in yer favor," He chuckled. The drunken man slammed his head down on the table in defeat.
"T'was a good game. If ye be havin' anymore loot t' be wagerin' after I clean ye out, I'd might be up fer another game." Barbossa chuckled again, collecting his winnings.
He looked up and saw Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth. Now in good spirits, he decided to pay his old crewmate and his significant other a visit. He walked over to the table, catching the words Elizabeth said as he approach.
"Ah, fancy that, m'lady." He said. He looked over at Jack. "Sparrow. Ye gettin' yerself int' trouble yet? Ye nay want t' be gettin the lass here angry, now would ye?" He said light-heartedly, but still teasing him, if only for the pleasure of being condescending towards the crazy old Jack Sparrow.

Gibbs swallowed the last of his rum, he looked into his glass in disappointment. He banged his hand on the bar to get the bartender's attention, the bartender knew exactly what he wanted so he got it without a word from Gibbs.
The tavern was an unusal busy and noisy night, too much for his liking, but once he had his rum he was happy.
Once he had the rum, he stummbled his way back to Jack who he noticed had just arrived. Elizabeth and Barbossa had beaten him to Jack's table. "Ah, fancy that, m'lady." Barbossa said. He looked over at Jack. "Sparrow. Ye gettin' yerself int' trouble yet? Ye nay want t' be gettin the lass here angry, now would ye?".
"What are ye doing 'ere?" He asked Barbossa in disgust, he didn't bother for an answer and greeted Jack and Elizabeth, "Captain" he said with an acknowledged nod, "Elizabeth, how's young Lillian?" He asked.

Elizabeth smiled as Barbossa and Mr Gibbs joined them. She laughed at Barbossa's teasing and decided to go along with it. "I'm not that bad! You just have to remember to be good and I'm good." She threw a cheeky look to Jack when she finished talking.
Elizabeth looked up to Mr Gibbs when he addressed her. "Hello, Mr Gibbs. Lily's doing just fine... you must meet her one day."

((I'm gonna jump at this opportunity, if ya don't mind.))
[Jim is under the Aztec curse here.]
Jim shuffled through the back alleys of Tortuga, careful to stay out of the moonlight. No need to start a riot here... there were plenty already. A good portion of the population was so drunk that they probably wouldn't notice a teenage skeleton wandering the streets.
Jim stopped outside a noisy tavern, casually leaning against the doorway. Discreetly, he put one hand from under the doorway and into the moonlight... his skin disappeared instantly, leaving only his ghostly bones behind. Jim winced and withdrew his hand. He would never get over how creepy that was...
Jim sulked into the tavern, his eyes glazing the room. Ever since he had swiped that stupid medallion, he had just been downright bored... it was like nothing could please him. That included the new CD that Warren had burned for him, Jim's new mastery of "Paint it, Black" on his guitar, hoisting the cook's pants up the mast... nothing amused him anymore.
Jim plopped down at an empty table, propping his head in his hands. He eyed the rum around the tavern enviously. He shot an icy remark to his rp-er, who was nagging that this was Disney, and that there would be no underage drinking on her watch. The rum wouldn't even do anything... "The drink did not satisfy...". Jim hadn't eaten or drunk anything for days.
Jim's tired blue orbs glanced at the faces in the tavern, realizing that he recognized a few. Barbossa, Elizabeth, Jack, and one other man that he didn't know were all chatting at one table. Jim laid his head on the table, trying to ignore the drunken shouting and fighting that rang through the room. If his friends wanted to talk to him, they could come and get him...

Jack whistled the tune to his favoirte song to himself but that soon turned into full on singing. "Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me."He sang loudly giving the impression of being drunk. He did not yet notice the people that were standing around him. He then suddenly turned his head when he started to hear people talking and saw that it was Elizabeth, Barbossa and Mr.Gibbs who had came to join him."Oy,where did all of you come from?"He asked surprised, but he was more suprised to see Mr.Gibbs since he had not seen him in quite a long time. "Mr.Gibbs, havn't seen you in a long time mate. How have you been lately?"
He then looked at Elizabeth and asked"Elizabeth, where is Lillian by the way love?"He then attempted to get up but failed and ended up flat on his back in an eagle spread postion. He tried a second time, this time using the chair as support and now stood up straight but still swaying back and forth a bit. "Can I get any of you anything? Anything to drink? How about rum? Rum sounds good...er.. to me at least." He then spotted a bartender walking by and without waiting for any of there responses he decided to order another round of drinks."Oy! Another round of drinks over here. On me."The bartender nodded and came towards them with another round of drinks. "Thanks mate."He said grabbing two more glassses of rum then drinking them both down in one gulp then paying off the bartender. The bartender then walked away as Jack finsihed off his pay.
He then noticed Jim Hawkins sitting alone at a table."Oy you,"He said snapping and poiting his fingers at him."Jim Hawkins, Jimmy Jim Jim. Why don't you come over here and join us mate?"He said yelling across the tavern not even going to try to attempt to walk over since he was way to drunk anyway."We've got rum!"He grinned as he held up the rum bottle.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes as she watched her husband be a fool. "Well well, what a surprise... Jack's drunk." She'd had a couple of wine's since she'd been here so she figured she was ready for the stronger stuff. Although she disliked rum, she wasn't about to object to joining in with the others. When a round of drinks came, she snatched one and took a sip, then pulled a slightly disgusted face. "It's good to know it hasn't changed... ugh." But despite her words, she continued to drink it.
"The important thing is that I know where Lily is, so don't you worry." Elizabeth answered Jack after he'd finished yelling and falling. She looked in the direction to where Jack was looking and noticed the young lad she'd met not long ago, Jim. Quickly noticing his state, she turned back to Jack. "Shh, don't draw attention... he doesn't look that great..." Then turning back to Jim, she offered him a smile then waved, inviting him to join them too.

"Mr.Gibbs, havn't seen you in a long time mate. How have you been lately?"
"Well in truth I've been a little bit down, me flask fell over board" he looked to the ground in pity, he suddenly perked up "none the matter, I can always get a new one!" He laughed.
He noticed Jack and Elizabeth invite someone over, he didn't know this lad. A lot must of happened since he's been away. He turned to Elizabeth and whispered, "whose this lad?"

Elizabeth turned to Mr Gibbs who whispered a question. She took a moment to think how to explain it before answering.
"His name is Jim Hawkins... I met him on Captain Teague's ship. Apparently Teague adopted Jim, so he's now part of the Sparrow family... also meaning he's Lillian's uncle." Elizabeth was still in slight shock over that very fact that she'd leant not long ago herself. It was taking a while to process since she knew Jack didn't have any real siblings and neither did she... so she'd never thought that Lillian would have an uncle or aunt, but now that had changed.
Taking another glance at Jim, Elizabeth continued, "I wonder why he looks so down." Her eyes were showing concern and she had a nagging feeling. She'd seen that same behaviour somewhere, but she couldn't think where or what it was.

"Shiver me timbers, a lot has happened since I've been away" he took a mouth full of rum to help digest the information Elizabeth had just given him, Jack had a brother now. Jack doesn't seem like the brotherly type.
He stopped drinking mid mouthful and glanced over to Elizabeth. She looked like she needed a drink, he handed her the glass. Gibbs couldn't believe it, he was sharing his rum. Well theres always a first time for everything.

Barbossa watched Jack, rolled his eyes and sighed at his drunken antics. Some things just never changed. He wasn't phased by the fact that Jack completely ignored him, in fact he was glad. Jack was better not saying anything at all for the most part. So Barbossa offered himself a seat and partook of the drinks were brought over to them.
"Why thank ya Jack." Barbossa gave a sarcastic smirk, knowing Jack wasn't intentionally doing any favors for him. He took note of Jim's solemn state and listened to Elizabeth and Gibb's conversation about him. Barbossa knew exactly why he looked so down and he frowned at the memory of his own plight with the curse Jim was suffering.
"The lad is feelin' what it's like t' feel nothin'," Barbossa said mysteriously, deep down feeling sorry for the young man. He looked at his drink before taking a swallow, intentionally and consciously savoring that taste of it. "In this case, maties, curiosity fails t' only kill th' cat. Some things are much, much worse." He gazed at Jack, reminded of Jack's own episode in the Locker. "Ye know somethin' about that as well, don't ya Jack?" He took another swallow of his drink, not particularly expecting a response or at least a coherent one.

"Ah, well glad to know that she is safe."Jack took another chug of his rum then looked towards Barbossa with a confused look on his face as he heard him call his name and said"I what?" He wasn't really paying much attention to the conversation. He was more focused on his rum at the moment.
*Gah museliss*

Barbossa looked up at him, his eyes showing his frustration. Exasperated he said, "....ye know what it feels like t'..." He sighed. It the state Jack was in now, he probably didn't even remember he was in the Locker, much less care. "Arrr, just drop it." Barbossa finally said. He continued to drink, each swallow going down easier than the last. He continued gazing over at Jim, wondering if he'll come to terms with his fate.

Elizabeth had finished the rum she'd grabbed when Jack had brought a round, and now Mr Gibbs was offering her one. She placed the empty one down, then began on the other one. She smiled her thanks and took a drink, still pulling a face but she had to admit, she was getting used to it.
Her eyes suddenly turned fiery and she put them on Jack. "What's that supposed to mean? Why shouldn't she be safe... are you saying I wouldn't keep her safe?" Elizabeth was shocked herself at how aggressive she just sounded but when it came to her daughter, she was quite protective. It was then it hit her what Barbossa had said. She turned her gaze to him in surprise. "Are you saying what I think you're saying, Barbossa?"
She had witnessed the curse she thought he was talking about... surely a lad like Jim wouldn't now be cursed like that?
