I'm aware that now isn't the Christmas season , but this is perhaps a timeless Christmas cartoon from Disney (which was directed by Don Bluth before he left Disney to form his own animation team and studio) that should be recognized more. It's about a boy who has to sell an old donkey named Small One who is his best friend and goes around town trying to find a nice owner who could take care of him. The ending's kind of easy to figure out, but I'm not going to spoil it for those who haven't seen it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. DON BLUTH! DONBLUTHDONBLUTHDONBLUTH! Aah, I'm a huge Bluth fan. I honestly think that he is a genius when it comes to animating. Like Titan A.E. That is just eye-popping! Not to mention the eye-candy known as Cale ... Anastasia is hands-down my favorite work by him. It's incredible - the story, the detail, the design, all of it. But with that been said, I'm not a huge fan of most of his 90's work. Thumbelina, A Troll in Central Park, and Rock-A-Doodle do not do him justice. They're pretty bad Disney-knockoffs (not offense to fans of those . And THANK YOU! For putting this up! I've been looking for it for a while ! xD
