The Great Prince of the Forest was doing his usual stroll through the wilderness part of Camp Minnie - Mickey away from the public viewing. He had started to get used to knowing understanding more about what the human park guests were like, yet his deer instinct kept telling him to avoid getting in contact with them at all costs. That instinct always informed him that "Man" shouldn't always be trusted, even if not all of them appeared life-threatening to him. As a matter of fact, he had a few encounters with human characters by accident in the past, and there weren't any negative consequences that came out of them.
On this fine day, hardly anything was on his mind at the moment until he stopped to smell something in the dirt. Something led him to presume something was amiss. He couldn't tell what it was yet, though. Little was he aware that his head was underneath some low tree branches, and the moment he got up and tried to move forward, his mighty antlers got stuck in the branches. Taking notice of his, he tried moving his body in different directions to get unstuck, but so for, nothing worked. "Hmmm...a fine situation, this is," he muttered to himself in a bit of frustration. He continued to grunt in struggling to break free, hoping someone else would come by to help him. He had gotten unstuck before, though why not now?

Violet was taking a walk through the wilderness at Camp Minnie - Mickey, glad to get away from her overbearing parents and annoying little brother. She liked nature somewhat, and the peace it brung, all was silent, until she heard a rather desperate groaning.
What was that? was her original thought on the matter until she came across a great Deer whose antlers were entangled in the branches above. He seemed to be struggling to break free. Well, she was a superhero, bound to help anyone in need.
"Let me get that for you." She said softly, before lifting the branches out of their complicated pattern. She smiled when the magnificent creature was free. "There you go."

The Great Prince was continuing his struggle to get free until he stopped to take notice of a fairly young teenage girl in his presence. Initially, he wasn't sure if he could trust her, as she was one of "Man," but as soon as she started to intervene and help untangle the branches for him, he became grateful for her actions.
Silence followed briefly, as the old stag stood there and didn't know if she could understand him if he replied back to her with a simple thanks. He soon broke the silence by saying, to be naturally polite, "Thank you, young one. I would not have known what to do had you not come around here to help me."

After Violet had untangled the magnificent creature, there was a silence which lasted for what seemed like minutes before the animal spoke thanks to her. She freaked out a little inside as she had never had a conversation with an animal, not even heard one talk before! She smiled in amazement at the thank you, and replied politely, "Anytime. I'm just glad I found you before someone else who might not have wanted to save you did. I'm happy to help." She smiled at him. "I'm Violet, and you are?"

The old yet noble stag smiled and slowly nodded his head once before saying, "The Great Prince of the Forest. Everyone always addresses me as Great Prince, because that is how they always respect me and treat me for, for I am a prince. I am quite grateful for your actions today, and I thank you again." To show his gratitude, he gave a light bow to Violet by lowering his head and bending a foreleg back.

Wow, a prince. That's royalty. She bowed back and felt slightly embarrassed at her casual words before. "No problem, your highness." She rose from her bow.

The Great Prince felt such an acknowledgement for Violet to bow back to him that he lightly grinned, accepting the bow. Then he kindly asked her, "Would you care to join me on a walk through here? I will try to be careful not to get into misfortune again like what happened back there," he said with a light but deep chuckle.

"Sounds good. And at least I will be here should anything go wrong, not that it will most likely." Violet started to walk, looking at her feet as she went. This was rather odd, this was not what she imagined she'd be doing today.

"That sounds just fine," the Great Prince said in a gentle tone with a light smile. He then proceeded to take slow steps through the woods on the path, always being alert in not getting into another predicament like the one from before. "So, dear Violet, would you mind telling me a little about yourself?" he asked, striking up a new subject to talk about.
