Walking around, Faline suddenly found herself wandering into a cave. It was beautiful, she had to give it that, but it was hard to see anything as she was used to the strong light of the sun, which shone right outside the cave. And, to be honest, she was quite scared of walking in there. The cave seemed pretty friendly, meaning there would not be caused any harm to her in there, but still she couldn't' seem to be just a wee bit scared - She was just a fawn, after all, still so little and fragile. Even the smallest thing could kill her. As she walked into the cave, deciding that it might be fun having some kind of adventure in her life, she looked back a few times on the light which slowly disappeared behind her.
Soon enough her eyes became used to the darkness and she could start to see. She must be deep under water by now as, on both her sides, class was set up and she could see into the ocean! - really, it was true! she could see fishes, big fishes, swimming around. It couldn't possibly be tanks they were swimming in.. right? That would be terrible. She stopped, starring at one of the more colorful fishes, who were swimming around behind the glass.

Bambi happened to be wandering around the entrance of Ariel's Grotto until he froze in place to see, from a distance, a familiar face. Is that...Faline? he wondered, squinting his eyes to make sure he wasn't hallucinating and seeing things. After staring at her for a few moments longer, his heart sprang with joy in seeing someone he knew back in the forest. "It is her!" he said to himself with a beaming face. "I should go say 'hi' to her right now."
He made his way over to meet Faline until he allowed his natural bashfulness to get to him and make him freeze in his tracks for a brief moment. There was something about Faline that usually made him feel shy of being around her, but that didn't fully stop him right then and there, as he had talked with her before without any major problems, plus they both have played together in the meadow both happily and merrily.
Before going inside the grotto, he let his eyes adjust to the darkness and slowly made his way inside, looking up with awe at the beauty of the ocean scenery and the variety of fish swimming about in the tanks. Then he lowered his head to see Faline looking through the tank glass, and he slowly made his way up behind her, gathering up the courage to speak. "Uh...h-hi, Faline."

She was frozen, absolutely stunned by the fishes she was seeing. He big blue eyes became even wider, as she stood there, admiring the beautiful fishes. Amazing that such pretty fish existed, Faline would have never believed it hadn't she seen it with her own eyes. Surely, the fish weren't as majestic as the fierce lion or.. of course, the deer - she thought of The Great Prince of the Forest as an example of a, very, majestic deer - but they sure were beautiful, you couldn't deny that. "My, my.. They're so beau.." She was cut of a she heard someone approach her from behind.
At first she would have thought it was Ronno, who was sneaking up on her, but that couldn't be him - he would have yelled her name out loud, making her aware of his presence. He was a rather egoistic fawn, always talking about himself. She could understand why, he was a very handsome fawn, should she say so herself, but he was.. obnoxious. As she turned around a voice echoed in the grotto and a smile appeared on the young doe's face "Bambi!" She exclaimed, happily, giggling like the little girl she was. She leaped over to him, so that she was standing face to face with the shy fawn whom she liked so much "Oh, it's so nice to see you!" She said, looking him deeply in the eyes. She then closed her blue eyes and giggled again - Bambi was so cute, being all shy. "I'm so happy I ran into you." She said, as she continued to smile at him.
Upon turning her head around, to look at the fishes again, she spoke; "Their beautiful, don't you think Bambi?" She asked of him, turning around to look at him again with gently eyes.

"I'm happy to see you, too, Faline," he said with a bashful smile. He had his head lowered a little bit and shoulders raised slightly in embarassment, not looking directly into her beautiful eyes at first. He spoke with such shyness, it was a personal challenge for him to talk in front of girls, but this fawn was so special to him back in the forest, there wasn't any really way for him to resist talking to her. "I never thought I'd actually see you out here beyond the forest," he said again, gathering up the courage to raise his head up and look directly into her beautiful blue eyes. "How are you doing?"
Standing next to her in front of the tank's tall glass, he looked up at the same beautiful fish swimming about in it with his wide brown eyes. "They sure do look beautiful," he said, commenting and admiring the natural beauty of the fish swimming together with such grace around the tank's decorations (including the sea anemones and coral formations), it was like watching a ballet, only underwater.

She tilted her head sideways, giggling once again at his shyness. He really was adorable "I'm happy to hear that you are," She said, excited to hear those words from Bambi. She didn't hide her interest in him, or at least she didn't think she was, and she thought she made it very clear that she was interested in him. He still seemed very shy talking to her, to any girls really. She didn't mind, the shyness was what made Bambi, Bambi. Apart from that, they where still to young to actually be interested in each other that way.. Still, that didn't mean she could not have a slight crush on him - in this chase, a big one maybe. She giggled, shyly, thinking this.
She noticed him raising his head and her petite looking face immidatly lit up in happiness. He really was a sweety. She observed his brown eyes, who where now looking straight into hers, as she continued to smile brightly at him "I thought the exact same thing.. I'm happy I did though," She answered him, as he told her he had never thought he would see her out here beyond the forest. Yeah well, she had actually never really planned on coming here.. That was until Bambi had left, with his father of course. Everybody was leaving by that time and so her mother had decided that they would too. Now they, Faline, her mother and her twin brother, were living in a little cave - a cave which reminded Faline very much of home, back in the forest. "Oh, I'm doing just fine.. I've met some new people here.. You wouldn't believe such weird creatures who are wandering around here.. I saw a fox yesterday, Robin Hood was his name, who was standing on two legs and wearing clothes!" She said, her voice reaching higher levels. As she calmed down, from her excitement about telling Bambi about the fox, she smiled at him and asked; "How are you doing, Bambi?"
She looked at him, standing there beside him. Did she dare get closer to him? No, he would just get scared, she knew Bambi all to well. Instead she just smiled and looked at the tank again "Yes, must be nice being so beautiful.. So colorful" She said, continuing to smile her little girlish smile.

"Really?" the little fawn asked Faline with interest, regarding her talking about Robin Hood. "Sounds like he's a nice fox to talk to."
Then he said with brightness in his tone to reply to Faline's question of how he was doing, "I'm doing great, thanks! I have made many new friends here, including this lady named Esmeralda and her goat Djali, and also Ariel. They're really nice."
He continued looking into the fish tank with her and then commented, "Isn't it interesting that we're looking at these fish underwater, and we're not wet? I mean, back in the forest, I usually saw fish above the water and not in it, you know?" Then he laughed his boyish chuckle at the thought.

She nodded, enthusiastic, as Bambi asked her if this was true "Yes, really!" She exclaimed, smiling brightly at him "He was." She answered the young fawn, who was standing beside her. It seemed like Bambi had gained some of his courage, as he didn't seem as shy now as he had before. It made Faline happy to think this, thinking that she liked Bambi so much. She wondered if he liked her back. Oh well, this was not the time for thinking this.. She would have plenty of time to think about that later.. When she got older, that is.
"Those are such pretty names!" She said, eyes wide with admiration of the names "Everybody around here has such odd, though pretty names.. I met a Princess not long ago, Snow White was her name.." She smiled at him "Have you seen Thumper around yet? Or Flower?" She then asked, wondering where their friends might be. Or Bambi's friends, to be correct.
She furrowed a bit on his comment "You're right.. How strange" She approached the fish tank, and let her nose touch upon the glass "Come feel it Bambi! I can touch the water without getting wet!" She laughed as she kept on pressing her nose to the glass.

"I met Thumper a couple times before, but not Flower," Bambi answered Faline. "Maybe Flower's a little too shy being around other park guests."
The curious fawn decided to do the same thing Faline was doing and press his nose against the tank glass. "Ooh, it's cold!" he remarked, moving his nose away from the glass to scrunch up his nose and chuckle. Then he pressed his nose against the glass again and let his nose bend upward, making a face toward the fish. One of the fish swam up to Bambi and looked at him with wonder, tilting its head to either side in curiosity. Bambi did the same thing and tilted his head on the same side the fish did. This soon became a little game as they both tilted their heads together to either side until the fish became bored and swam away. Bambi laughed at how silly the game turned out to be as he removed his nose from the tank glass.

She smiled and nodded, as he told her that he had seen Thumper but not Flower "I wonder where he is then.. Because, he has to be here somewhere. .It seems like everyone has come her" She shrugged slightly. She had to admit though, as selfish as it may sound, that she was quite happy that the two friends of Bambi weren't here as much as she thought they would, for that meant more time for Faline to be with the young fawn.
She giggled and continued to press her nose against the glass. She pulled her head back again though when she suddenly became aware of the little game Bambi and the fish were playing. She couldn't help but laugh "How silly" She chuckled, looking at the fish and then at Bambi . She hopped around, circling around Bambi for a minute, before stopping in front of him "So, what do you want to do next?" She asked of him, excited.

"Mmm, maybe," Bambi replied, pondering over Faline's reasoning of everyone from the forest coming to visit the Disney parks. It was strange for him to not see such animals as Flower and Friend Owl around, but at least he met a familiar friend he could enjoy being around with more frequently. Trying to think of something positive to say, he said, "At least I know you're here. That way, we could play all the time!" His face beamed happily again at the thought as he wagged his tail with delight.
The little fawn spun his head around trying to keep his eyes on Faline as she excitedly hopped around him in circles. This made him feel a bit dizzy, but that didn't stop him from chuckling to himself in reaction to her distinctive giggling. That was just one of the many qualities about her that he really liked.
Looking around while standing in place, he searched for something else fun for the two fawns to do together. It was then that he spotted a play place for kids, as it featured a soft-surface play zone dotted with fountains. "Ooh, look over there!" he exclaimed with excitement, looking over toward the play area. "Let's go over there and get wet at the same time!" The idea of running around and getting wet at the same time seemed like an interesting idea, so he looked at her in anticipation to see what she had to say about it.

She looked at him. He facial expression became soft, as he spoke, and a dreamy look appeared in her eyes. The thought of being with Bambi all the time, playing, was such a wonderful thought. She loved playing with Bambi - He was such a good friend, the cutest of all fawns. And, at least, not as egoistic as Ronno was. On some level Bambi was kind of a second brother to Faline, except she only happened to have a slight crush on him. Okay, not a slight one, a big one. "Yes, isn't it wonderful?" She asked, the dreamy look not leaving her eyes until there was suddenly no more to do and she started hopping around Bambi.
Once she stopped, she touched her nose upon his and giggled girlish. She was a jumpy little doe and she loved showing her affection. Especially toward Bambi. As she pulled away she searched with him, for something they could do. He was the fastest among the two of them though, and soon he looking over at at play area. Faline couldn't hold back an excited laughter as she nodded "That sounds like so much fun!" She exclaimed, quickly, leaping toward the playground "Come, Bambi!" She said, running to the fountains.
As she got close enough she jumped, into the fountain. Whoosh! - She slipped and ended up, on her behind, inside the water. "Ouuuch"

Bambi watched Faline quickly run off toward the play area with excited laughter, and he grinned, remembering far back to the time when he enjoyed playing with her for the very first time in the meadow back in the forest. What a special moment it was for him in his young life; even if she were teasing him by licking his face playfully when he wasn't looking, it was definitely something he planned on never forgetting as he would get older.
The little fawn soon joined up with her and stamped in the fountains with his front hooves, making large splashes in hoping to get Faline a little wet. All the other kids in the play area were having a lot of fun, that he soon forgot about wanting to splash her and chose to playfully splash the other kids with his hooves instead.
"Ouuuch."
His eyes widened in surprise and his ears pricked up to hear that noise, and he turned to see Faline on her bottom. Reacting quickly, he went up to her and asked, "A-are you all right?"

She didn't notice Bambi's attempts to splash water on her, much, as just a second after she had jumped into the fountain she slipped and landed on her bottom. She blinked the tears out of her eyes and turned to look at Bambi when he rushed to her side to ask if she was okay. She blinked again, slowly getting up on all four legs. "Ow, that hurts" She said, reaching over to rub her back with her nose. When she turned to look at Bambi again she was smiling - She was just being brave, all she wanted to do was to rush off to her mothers side and cry like a baby. She wouldn't do that in front of Bambi though "I'm fine.. Just hurts a little that's all" She raised an eyebrow "It's not like i'm gonna die"
ith an impish smile she stamped in the fountain, making the water splash to every side. Then she reached forward, with her nose, and touched Bambi "Tag!, You're it!" She cried out and then turned to run. Just like old days.

Bambi became relieved to know that Faline was all right and didn't injure herself too badly. "Oh, that's good," he replied with a sigh of relief. "I thought you were really hurt." Examining her back and seeing nothing, he remarked with a laugh, in regards to her comment about not going to die, "Nah, I wouldn't think so. You'll be OK."
Then he started to resume his play in the fountains until he felt a soft poke on his side, making him quickly turn his neck to see what that was about. After it turned out that Faline wanted to play tag with him, he giggled to himself and went after her through the Grotto. It certainly was like old times, running through the meadow and playing small and innocent child games with each other and having fun; this made him smile greatly and bring such joy to his heart. After a long chase, he poked her side back with his nose, exclaimed, "You're it!" and ran away toward the sandy beach that was behind the grotto, leaving hoofprints in the sand and dodging through the park guests using the beach.

She smiled, touched that he would care so much for her and be truly worried if she was hurt or not. It was sweet and Faline appriciated it, very much. She reached out and nudged Bambi's cheek with her nose "Don't be worried, I'm just fine.." She said, assuring him that he did had no reason to worry. It would just bruise a little, maybe, and even if it did you wouldn't be able to see it for she had a big coat of fur covering her body.
Suddenly Bambi was chasing after Faline, they were playing tag like old days in the meadow. Running through the Grotto, resuming one of their childhood games, she giggled loudly, girlish, and looked back to see if Bambi really was chasing after her. When she realized he truly was she suddenly got very busy with running away - she didn't want to be it, that was the whole point about it to watch not to be caught. He managed to get her though and soon she was the one chasing after him, down toward the beach, which was behind the Grotto. She giggled loudly, as she tried to keep pace with her friend. She stumbled a few times, when they finally reached the beach, and it slowed her down quite so much, but she didn't stop and kept on chasing after him "I'm going to catch you!" She giggled, sure of herself, as she pushed herself forward and forced her legs to speed up. She was running as fast as she could and soon she was running behind him "Aha!" She exclaimed, giggling loudly.
