It was a dark and gloomy evening at Lady Tremaine's mansion. The lady of the house was sitting by the desk in her office, writing a letter in code. Almost like a riddle. You had to know her mind well to know what the letter meant. As soon as she had written it, she sent it with a servant, and sat down in the tall chair in front of the fireplace. She was petting Lucifer, who rested in her lap, and her cold, green eyes were staring into the crackling fireplace.
Her brother Judge Claude Frollo had been away for a while, and she was getting worried that something might have happened to him. The flames in the fireplace took form, and also she, like her brother, could see a dancing gypsy there. A plan formed in her mind, and a vicious, cunning grin went over her face.
She petted Lucifer with a slender hand, and started singing quiety.
Hellfire Dark fire Now gypsy, it's your turn Choose me or Your pyre Be mine or you will burn
An ice cold chuckle filled the room. Esmeralda had not chosen Frollo. But Lady Tremaine had chosen Esmeralda. As her first victim when she rid the world of the filthy gypsies.
"Don't worry, Claude," she whispered, staring into the fireplace. "She will burn!!!"
The black cat lifted his head lazily and looked at her with his yellow demonic eyes. Their gazes met, and he snickered evilly.

Pooh had watched as the sun started to set among the trees in the horizon as he sat on top of a small hill, overlooking a mansion. It had been a long day for the bear of very little brain, and he was beginning to get cold, hungry, and despite it all, he still felt a little lost... Moving onto his feet Pooh got up, wondering if the mansion down below had someone in it who would offer him a small smackeral of something sweet. He just hoped not to run into that fox creature again or anybody who wasn’t nice. As he walked he hummed a little, looking up at the sky that was now fading and turning dark and he began to sing softly: “Come out moon, Come out wishing star, Come out, come out, Wherever you are...” He saw a lone star in the sky, beginning to shimmer a little and twinkle as the darkness settled in around it. “I hope I find you soon... Christopher Robin,” he whispered as he finished humming and singing his song. He made his way up to one of the doors on the mansion and knocked lightly on it with his paw and took a step back, waiting to see if anyone would come to the door. After a few minutes he frowned lightly and knocked again. No one came again. Pooh didn’t bother knocking a third time, figuring the mansion was probably empty and so he turned the doorknob and the door swung open. “Hello?” he called inside quietly, almost fearfully. “Anybody home... oh I do hope nobody answers... or if nobody does answer, I do hope they’re a friendly kind of nobody.” He moved inside the mansion door and started wandering around. He wandered until he found himself struggling to get up the stairs, and he remembered Christopher Robin helping him up the stairs once as they headed for bath time. Once he was finally done with the stairs Pooh looked around and saw a strange glow coming from under one of the doors and he made his way over peaking inside. He watched carefully as an older looking lady wrote something down on paper and then folded it and called for someone to come and take it away. Pooh wasn’t sure what she was doing or if he should approach her and ask so he remained hidden, peaking out from the door. When he heard her singing he felt an eerie sensation creep through his toes and make its way to his nose and he cowered a little in fear. This older lady didn’t sing nice things, she didn’t have a pleasant smile, oh no! she wasn’t nice at all! At the old lady’s cold and crooked laugh Pooh felt his fur bristle on end and he realised that he had to escape, get out of the mansion and away from the old mean lady. That was when he heard her words “She will burn!!!” and the sound of something else laughing and Pooh made a run for it. “I must tell someone!” he exclaimed in fear as he headed towards the stairs. As he ran his foot slipped and Pooh tumbled down the stairs, bump, bump, bump... and landed in a heap at the bottom.

Lady Tremaine rested in her chair. The fireplace was crackling, leaving the room in an orange sight. A black shadow stood up from Lady Tremaine's lap and jumped quietly down on the floor. A couple of yellow, demonic eyes lit up in the darkness, and a rumbling purr filled the air as Lucifer lapped at his bowl of milk.
While he was drinking he heard Lady Tremaine sing, and snickered evilly. For a moment he thought he heard someone knocking at the door, but he couldn't see anyone. Then he heard voices in the hallway, someone calling Hello???
He snuck quietly out in the hallway, hidden by the dark shadows of the Mansion. He noticed a little bare coming upstairs and he hid a snicker, creeping up behind the little teddy before showing off his remarkably sharp teeth and flashing his talons. He could smell the fear from the teddybear already before his first slash.
The cat grabbed the teddy bear firmly by the sweater and carried Pooh all the way to Lady Tremaine, where he dumped him.
Lady Tremaine looked at the new guest and spoke in her ice cold watch.
"Well, well, what have we here? A little spy? Now tell me: Who are you, and what are you doing here?"
This older lady didn’t sing nice things, she didn’t have a pleasant smile, oh no! she wasn’t nice at all! Pooh’s eyes widened in fear and he cried out as he was snatched up and grabbed by something from behind him. When he realized he was heading back in the direction towards the mean old lady he struggled a little, but it was no use, he wasn’t getting free. When he was dumped in front of the mean lady he looked up at her fearfully as she spoke to him.
“S... spy?” Pooh repeated fearfully. “N-no, I was just hoping to find a place where I... bother... I could stay for the night, and was wondering if maybe you had a small smackeral to spare.” Pooh moved to back up a little bit but as he did he felt sharp claws dig into his back and he yelped, jumping forward.
“You see... I... I wasn’t... what I mean is... I isn’t... I... bother,” Pooh stuttered a little bit nervously. “I think I’ll just be going... now.” He slowly moved away trying to escape, having tried to go backwards and ran into sharp claws, Pooh went forwards and ran towards the door just as Lucifer attacked him, the two tumbled and rolled until Pooh landed with an ‘ooof!’ and a thud into the wall.
When Pooh looked up he noticed the cat creature resting on his round tummy, its sharp claws waving in the air at him and Pooh swallowed hard, fearing the worst.
“Oh bother...” he sighed gloomily. “I’m in trouble.”
(OOC: I kind of get the feeling that when you get back Esmeralda... or... err... Lady T.... you can tie Pooh up, didn't want you to miss all the fun!).

Cinderella’s castle looked a lot darker then the last time she’d passed it, though Ariel suspected that this could simply because of the darkened sky. Even so, the once cheery and appealing façade now seemed somehow more, sinister, as if there were a darker aura around it. Ariel was making all of these observations from a café in Fantasyland that was near enough to the palace for her to have a good view of the place. It was from here that she spotted a rather odd looking bear amble towards the castle and enter it. “What a cute thing,” she noted as Pooh passed, however after that she gave the bear no real thought for some time as she examined the castle. She finished her drink and set the glass, though she’d once called it a pourlagig, down on the table and had been about to leave when something strange occurred to her, the reason why the castle had appeared sinister to her. “Everything is sealed off!” she exclaimed in surprise. Windows and doors that had earlier been wide open earlier were now securely closed and, in some cases, blocked off completely. The whole thing had the effect of making the castle appear more like private property, rather like a mansion. And the bear still hadn’t emerged. Ariel waited for some time out of concern, however still the bear did not emerge from the mansion. She began to get worried on behalf of the creature, for it had looked like an innocent and defenceless animal. Thinking on the spot, Ariel slowly stepped up to the door and knocked on it like the bear had done. It was answered by an austere looking Butler, who gazed down at the redhead with a look that made her shuffle uncomfortably. “Yes?” he intoned tersely, hand twitching slightly as if he was simply itching to slam the door shut once again. “My… friend just came in here,” she began, slightly flustered under the piercing scrutiny, “little bear about this big.” She gestured with her hands to show what she meant. The butler didn’t even pause to consider it, he simply replied at once. “There’s no bear here.” And with that the door was shut again, in fact Ariel could hear several deadbolts being slid into place. That certainly hit her as odd, for the castle had been open to all when she’d last passed. No, something strange was going on here, and from the Butler’s almost automatic response she felt the bear was in danger. * Ariel fidgeted impatiently as she waited for attention at the Police Station, glancing at the clock every few minutes as she thought about how long Pooh had been in that terrible place. She’d asked to report a crime, however the secretary on duty had been leaving for the night and no-one else had turned up to attend. “Come on, come on…” muttered the girl impatiently, glancing at the clock once again.

Elisa walked out of Captain Chavez's office. She had just been briefed regarding her new undercover assignment. Her supervisor had little information to give her, only that it involved Lady Tremaine, her brother, Judge Claude Frollo, and the gypsies. Knowing what Frollo had planned to do with the gypsies, and the fact that Esmeralda was one of her dearest friends, Elisa knew what she had to do. She would find out what Tremaine was up to, and stop her.
First, she'd have to tell Goliath. Elisa doubted that he'd want her to do this on her own, but it was one time where she couldn't have him tailing her. Subtlety was the key in this mission.
Elisa walked through the station, ready to head up to the clock tower, when a young girl waiting by the desk caught her attention.
"Ariel!" Elisa said. "What are you doing here?"

Back at the mansion Lady Tremaine raised calmly from the chair she was sitting in. She stood tall and pround in front of the teddy bear, gazing down at him with an ice cold stare. Her voice was calm when she spoke to him, and each little word was brimming with frost. An ice cold smile went over her face as she noticed the fear in his voice.
"You don't have a place to stay for the night?"
She shook her head and clucked her tongue slowly, as if this was a large pity. Then she glanced over at him with her cold green eyes.
"Well, my dear. You are welcome to stay here for as long as you like. I have a big mansion with lots of smackerals to share. If you behave like a good little teddy bear should......"
She leaned forward and stared coldly right into his eyes, and chuckled evilly.
"We could make that stay.... permanent."
She turned towards the door and called on the butler.
"Edgar! Tie him up, and hang him over the fireplace. If he misbehaves, I will see to that his fluff gets burned.... Just like the gypsies...."
The butler tied and gagged the teddy bear, hoisting him right above the crackling fireplace. Lucifer, the cat, glared up at him with his yellow, demonic eyes, as if he wanted the teddy to catch on fire. When he heard Lady Tremaine's words about the gypsie's he snickered evilly.
((I hope you will have fun with this plot too Pooh bear. And Ariel and Elisa too of course ;D ))

“Really?” Pooh asked looking up at the mean old lady with curiosity instead of distrust. “I promise I’ll behave, I... I... I wont get in the way...” He tilted his head to the side as she said the word “permanently” and he frowned.
“Well I... I was thinking I’d go in the morning to look for my friends... see I haven’t found them yet and I miss them terribly,” he explained, hoping she’d understand. But it was soon clear that she didn’t, or that he was going to get free.
“Tie me up!” Pooh squeaked, his voice filled with fear. “Burned! Oh no please...!” But no sooner had the words escaped his mouth then he was being gagged and bound. He struggled a little against the restraints, but stopped when he was hung over the fire.
His eyes glanced down at the burning flames below and he could feel the heat rising up at him, making his fur rustle. He moved his legs up and crossed them trying to keep them from dangling too close to the flames and then looked up at the cat who was watching him dangle for dear life. Two fat tears slipped down his furry cheeks and hit the fire below making it hiss and spit and the noise made Pooh cringe, his ears drooping a little as he realized he would probably never see his friends again...
(OOC: I'm def. going to have fun with it!! Poor Pooh)

((I know it is Elisa and Ariel to post, but I couldn't resist replying to this one! ;D I love you Pooh! *Snugglehugs* ))
Lady Tremaine smiled evilly and walked slowly up to the fireplace. She lifted Lucifer up in her arms and caressed him with a slender hand. Her cold, green eyes gave the captured teddy an ice cold glare, and her voice was calm, with hidden daggers in it.
"Oh, you won't be in the way, little one. Please feel free to... hang around.... all you like. You will not be alone. Lucifer here happens to love teddy bears, and he will love to play with you, won't you darling."
Lucifer watched the teddy with demonic yellow eyes and snickered evilly. He waited until Lady Tremaine lifted him up, then he sheathed his razor sharp claws and clawed in Winnie The Pooh's general direction.
Lady Tremaine smiled evilly, watching her cat play with the teddy, and she spoke lowly, in an ice cold voice to him.
"You miss your friends, bear? Don't worry. I will bring my hunters to the forest and look for them. And when we find them we will bring them here, so you can hang out with them..... over my fireplace, near the flames."
She noticed his tiny legs dangling and smiled when she noticed his tears. She leaned against him.
"I wouldn't dangle too much if I were you. The fluff you are made of, is very flamboyant. If you freeze.... I can add some logs to the fire."
She threw a few more firelogs on the fireplace, increasing the heat from the fire.

Ariel was almost ready to cry out in frustration when suddenly a familiar voice rang out from across the room. Whirling around on the spot, she caught sight of an equally familiar face. It was Elisa, the woman she’d met briefly in the Haunted Mansion. She hadn’t mentioned she was in the Police, so it was a surprise to Ariel to see someone she knew.
“I need your help,” she replied, before hastily explaining what she’d seen at the Mansion, as well as the butler’s inadequate attempts to cover it up. “I didn’t know where else to turn to for help.” She looked around helplessly, wringing a strand of hair in her hands anxiously as she spoke. “We have to help that poor bear.” She glanced at the clock, estimating that it had now been about an hour since Pooh bear had gone into the Mansion. Who knew what sort of terrible things could have happened to him in that time.
“Please, you have to help me save him,” she finished, gazing with concern into Elisa’s eyes.

Pooh swallowed hard under Lady Tremaine’s icy cold stare and then looked to Lucifer, the cat, as she talked about him. As soon as Pooh saw the sharp claws come out and swipe at him, he jumped in shock and found himself swaying a little by the rope holding him over the fire.
Pooh tried to say something from behind the gag as the mean old lady spoke about finding his friends and bringing them back here to hang alongside him. He didn’t like that idea at all and he hoped that if he hadn’t been able to find his friends, neither would her hunters. But all of the new friends Pooh had met would be in danger and the thought brought more tears to his eyes.
When the lady moved in close and leaned against him Pooh tried to lean back but he couldn’t go very far and so he stared at her with wide hurt and innocent eyes. He shook his head as she mentioned him freezing and he tried to speak through the gag again to tell her he was warm enough, but only muffled words came out.
When a few logs were placed on the fire sparks filled the air around Pooh and as they flew a few settled on him and he cried out “ow!” from behind the gag. One spark landed on his nose and he closed his eyes, the tears were falling freely now as he swung a bit on the rope that held him...
(OOC: Nani!! Help!!! ...... I know it isn't my turn to post either but I couldn't help responding!)

Elisa gasped as Ariel gave a description of what she'd seen at the mansion. Kidnapping a harmless little teddy bear... This proved that there was no depth to which Lady Tremaine would not sink.
"I've just been assigned an undercover mission at Lady Tremaine's mansion. I'm going to try and get a job with her as a maid." Elisa said. "She's planning something with the gypsies, and not something good. Okay, here's what we're going to do. You'll come with me, acting as a maid. Your only job will be to find the bear, and then you will both get the heck outta dodge."
Elisa looked outside. The sun was going to set soon.
"Come with me." Elisa led Ariel upstairs to the clock tower.
The gargoyles were still perched on the ledge. Just a few more seconds until sunset.
"These are my friends." Elisa said. "You don't have to be afraid of them."
Just as Elisa finished speaking, the last of the sun's rays faded from view. The seven statues began to crack, until one by one, they each came to life, stretching their wings and bodies as their stone skin fell to the ground.
"Elisa." Goliath greeted. "Good evening."
"Who's your friend?" Angela asked.
"This is Ariel." Elisa said. "I'm sorry, but we have little time. We got big problems."
Elisa launched into an explanation of her new assignment, Lady Tremaine, and what Ariel had just told her.
"I'm going to spy on Tremaine until I can figure out what she's up to. Ariel's going to come with me, but only to find the bear, then she's gone."
"I'll go with you." Goliath said immeadietly.
"No." Elisa said. "Goliath, I'm sorry, but I can't have you with me this time. Who knows how long it's going to take for me to get something on Tremaine, I'll need to be subtle."
"Elisa, this woman is dangerous. And if she's making contact with Frollo, that makes this mission all the more risky." Goliath said. "You'll need protection in case something goes wrong."
"Goliath, I'm touched that you're so concerned about me, but like I said, I can't have you tailing me."
Goliath sighed. "At least take Bronx with you." He pleaded. "He'll hide until you call for him. Please."
Elisa sighed, knowing that Goliath wasn't going to bend. "Alright."
Goliath pulled Elisa into a tight embrace. "Be careful."
"I will." Elisa promised, returning the hug before Goliath relased her.
"Come on, Ariel. We'll grab our disquises, and be on our way."

“Sounds good,” replied Ariel with an enthusiastic nod as Elisa explained her plan to infiltrate the mansion. It would be tough, but if it saved that innocent bears life then Ariel supposed it would be worth it. She stayed silent as the police woman led her upstairs into a high tower. The last rays of the day were vanishing behind the horizon and she took a moment to admire the beauty, however was soon distracted by something a lot more surprising. The gargoyle statues that had been perched on the ledge began to crack and came to life. Ariel gasped, taking an involuntary step back as she stared at them.
“What are they?” she asked quietly with awe, however was prevented from asking further questions as Elisa began to explain the situation to them. She smiled in greeting as she was introduced, listening to the re-cap of the situation and the mission they were going to attempt. She had to suppress a shudder as she heard the details about Lady Tremaine that had previously been a mystery to her, agreeing with the gargoyle Elisa had called ‘Goliath’, that she sounded utterly unpleasant and dangerous.
As she watched the human and gargoyle seemed to reach some compromise about the situation, however before Ariel could comment Goliath pulled Elisa into what was a simple embrace, yet still seemed to be such a private and touching moment that Ariel felt it was only polite to turn away until it had passed. It reminded her of Eric’s expression when he had finally realised that she was the one who has saved him from the storm, and suspected that there was something between the human and stone creature. And why not, love could persist against most odds; Ariel herself was proof of that.
“How will we be disguised?” she asked as they began to make their way back down the tower again, remembering some of the human devices Scuttle had claimed were for disguises, that had actually turned out to be furniture. “I suppose we’ll have to look more like maids, but Lady Tremaine doesn’t know us so that should be all we need.” She was suddenly worried that the Butler she’d encountered might remember her, however decided that, so long as she was wearing an adequately different outfit, it wouldn’t occur to him that he’d met her before. She doubted it had been a particularly memorable encounter.
“Who’s Bronx?” Ariel asked suddenly as they reached the ground floor again, recalling the compromise Elisa had reached with Goliath.
