‘Lower me into the fire!’ Pooh thought in horror and he glanced down at the fire, eyes wide and then looked back up at Lady Tremaine. He struggled against the ropes once more, trying to free himself but it was no use, he was trapped.
When he felt Lucifer hit him with his paws he jumped a little, knocking more of his fluff into the fire and saw the flames burn bright with excitement. Blinking back tears the bear of very little brain closed his eyes not sure what else he could do...

Pocahontas continued to explore the castle, always aware of her surroundings. As she turned a corner, she saw that a door was adjar. Seeing that she was alone, the indian opened the door and saw it leading to a dark stairwell. She could hear some faint voices in the room below. Leaving the door open so that she could use the light from the hall, Pocahontas quietly decended into the darkness, the stone cold on her bare feet.
[[Will she run into anyone on the stairs?]]

Elisa was walking through the many halls of the mansion. She was getting worried when she hadn't seen Ariel in the kitchen. She hoped she hadn't tried to follow Lady Tremaine right away. Elisa berated herself for not explaining to Ariel that they had to play the field first, and gain trust before trying to find the answers they wanted.
"If anything happens to her, I'll never forgive myself." Elisa whispered as she turned yet another corner.
She gasped as she saw Pocahontas heading down one of the doors.
"First Eilonwy, now Pocahontas, what is everyone doing here?" Elisa whispered as she hurried after the young Indian.
Elisa followed down the steps, hissing quietly, hoping Pocahontas would hear her.
"Pocahontas. Pocahontas!" She said, keeping her voice low. She gasped as she noticed Ariel further down the stairs. "Ariel!"
Elisa followed Ariel's horrified gaze to the floor, and gasped as she saw the barbaric scene before her. A man, a tiny little pig, and the bear Ariel had seen were all chained, and a fire was lit below the stuffed teddy. Lady Tremaine's horrible cat was circling the bear as if it were a toy, leaping at it with it's claws.
"Ariel, Pocahontas, come with me, *now*!" Elisa called urgently. "Don't argue, please, just come."
Elisa hurried back up the stairs, praying that the girls would follow, and that her plan would work.

Pocahontas saw the end of the stairway far below when she heard someone say her name. Turning around, she could see another woman on the stairs. It took a moment for her to recognize Elisa.
"Elisa, what are you doing here?" she whispered. "What is this place?"
Her answer was around the corner and she opened her mouth in shock. Her eyes moved from the captives to Tremaine. Oh, that woman was going to pay! Reluctantly she followed Elisa back up the stairs.

Edgar was making a fire under the tied Piglet as well, and blew to the fire to make it as hot as Possible. Lady Tremaine turned to the tied up teddy, speaking calmly to him in her ice cold voice.
"Well, my little friend. If you won't tell me where the gypsies are, I guess we will have to fry your little friend here. Maybe he will talk....
You can listen to his screams while we torture him, and see if you change your mind...."
She stopped for a moment. Weren't there someone in the stairs? She had remembered to close the hidden entrance, hadn't she? But still she felt someone looking at her in the darkness. She whirled around and looked toward the stairs, but she couldn't see anything suspicious.
Strange, I could have sworn someone was there.....

Pooh turned to look at Piglet, his eyes wide with fear as he watched Edgar start a fire under his bestfriend. He struggled again against his restraints and cried out for Piglet from behind the gag. He looked back at Lady Tremaine beggingly, as if asking for her not to harm Piglet with his eyes, unable to use words. He looked back towards where the fire was burning and where Piglet now hung from the dungeon ceiling as well, feeling the tears return as hopelessness settled in. He had to be brave for his dear friend, but it was so hard when he himself was in a rather hot spot.
He turned back to look at Lady Tremaine and his ears picked up on a noise in the stairwell and he glanced towards it at the same time the mean old lady was looking towards it as well. Someone was there... he could hear their light footsteps on the stairs. He didn’t know if the footsteps were a good someone or a bad someone and he prayed it was of the good kind, he didn’t know what he’d do if he met another someone who was as mean as Lady Tremaine...
When the mean old lady looked back at him he sulked under her stare, ears flopping down and he blinked, a few tears sliding down his cheeks...
(OOC: Poor Piglet, Pooh and Quasi, so close to a rescue... *snuggles those poor unfortunate souls*)

Piglet had many thoughts running through his head as Edgar was tying him by a rope. Over a fire. The first thought was something along these affects: Oh look. Pooh's here to! Yea! The second thing he thought may have sounded like this: Why is there a fire below me?. And the last thought was not only thought but said aloud. Well more like screamed. His girl screech peirced the air. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Piglet shouted. "Pppppplease put mmme down. I ddddddon't know any gypsies. I was jjjjjjust pppplaying in the flowers." Piglet cried hoping the lady would listen to him. The fire shot up. The screams escaped the stuffed pigs mouth. Why did these bad things always happen to him?
(((Poor Piglet, Pooh, and Qausi indeed.)))

In all the struggling Pooh had been doing his gag had managed to come loose and slip out of his mouth. He heard Piglet shouting to be let down and Pooh knew that if the mean old lady hadn’t shown no mercy for him, wouldn’t do the same for Piglet either.
“Piglet!” Pooh cried out looking over at his best friend. “You have to be brave, you have to be brave Piglet!” He looked back at Lady Tremaine and then down at Lucifer who was trying to jump up at him.
“P... please,” he begged the mean old lady. “I... d’oh...” He tried to wiggle away as Lucifer jumped up at him and then caught his claw into Pooh’s other leg. Pooh yelped loudly in surprise, hurt and shock and looked down at the sound of a tearing noise and saw some of his fluff fallout from the newly ripped hole.
“Please!” Pooh begged miserably looking up at Lady Tremaine. “We don’t know anything...”

Ariel wheeled around in surprise as she heard Elisa hiss to her, darting back through the shadows to follow after her friend, though she did make sure to hold the door open in case it slammed shut once again. She fidgeted impatiently, before finally giving up and glaring at the police woman.
“You told me to get the bear and get out!” she repeated in exasperation, sending a curious look towards the stranger who had also been lurking on the stairway, “if we leave now there’s no guarantee we’ll be able to open this door again.” Ariel thought back to her own failed attempts to enter the passage, noting how lucky she’d been that the Butler had allowed her to slip through. It was purely fluke that she’d left the door open for Pocahontas and Elisa to get through.
“I can’t leave anyone down there,” she wailed, shuddering at the thought of the terrible acts Tremaine was carrying out in the hidden room, “that must be enough to have her locked up. So why are we still waiting?” She sighed, suddenly realising how selfish she’d been in threatening Elisa’s cover, and therefore her safety, for if Ariel had been discovered then suspicion would have gone almost immediately to her ‘cousin’. Still, it seemed just as selfish to leave the prisoners down there, even more so in fact, so she couldn’t stop herself from shooting another angry glare at Elisa.
“Okay, what’s your idea?”

As Pocahontas entered the lighted hallway with Elisa, she was torn between true fear, intense frustration, pity and rage. She could still see Quasi and the others changed up like criminals, waiting to be torture by that twisted old woman. No wonder Clayton fancied her so much!
When Ariel expressed her fear that they wouldn't be able to open the door again once they left, Pocahontas searched for something to prop the door so it wouldn't close all the way. She found chair in the hallway and stuck one of the legs between the wall and the edge of the door. That would hold as long as no one bumped it.

Elisa spun around at Ariel. She was doing her best to keep her temper in check. After all, Ariel wasn't a cop, and had no idea how undercover operations worked. It was why Elisa didn't tell anyone at the station that she was bringing Ariel with her. Captain Chavez never would have allowed it. Still, it didn't stop Elisa from being angry at Ariel's rash actions.
"I know I said get the bear and get out, but I didn't mean for you to follow Lady Tremaine within ten minutes of us getting the job! What if she had seen you on the stairs? You'd be chained to the wall right now, with me right behind you, and then we'd have no way of figuring out what's she's planning! Tremaine has three prisoners down there, we can't just barge in there and try and take them, it doesn't work that way, Ariel!"
Elisa took a deep breath before continuing. She knew Ariel had meant well, but they all had to be careful.
"Trust me, I have no intention of leaving them all down there." Elisa said, softening her tone. "I have a plan. Follow me."
Elisa led the two women outside the mansion towards the forest. Night had fallen.
"Lady Tremaine's dinner guests will be arriving within the hour." Elisa said. "That will keep her and Edgar busy for at least two hours."
She pulled out a pad of paper and pen and scribbled down a note.
This is Bronx. Don't be afraid of him, he's here to help. Once he breaks all of your chains, follow him out to the forest so you can escape.
Elisa folded the note before looking towards the forest.
"Bronx!" She called. "Here, boy!"
The gargoyle beast bounded out of the forest, barking happily at the sight of Elisa. He sniffed Ariel again, recognizing her scent as he licked her hand, before moving to Pocahontas. He barked happily at her.
"Bronx, shhh!" Elisa said, putting a finger to her lips. She knelt down to him, patting him on the head. "Now listen, boy. In the cellar, there are three prisoners. Give the human this note, and then free them from their chains and get them out of the mansion, understand?"
Bronx licked Elisa's face before taking the note in his mouth. He hurried towards the window leading to the cellar, being careful to remain where the humans inside wouldn't see him.
"Don't worry, Bronx has never let me down before." Elisa said. "He'll get them all out."
She looked towards Ariel and Pocahontas. "I need to stay. Even though it's obvious Lady Tremaine had prisoners, I can't arrest her yet. I need to know what her plan is with the gypsies. If you two want to leave, now is the time."

In the Dungeon, Edgar checked his pocket watch and whispered something for Lady Tremaine. An ice cold smile crossed her lips, and she gave Pooh and her other prisoners an ice cold glare. Her voice was calm as always, each word brimming with frost.
"You are in luck, my tiny friends," she smiled. "I have a dinner party to attend too. If you had arrived earlier, piggy, you could have been the main course. Now however, you will be the main course on tomorrow's menu."
She ran her slender hand smoothly across Piglets face as she said this. Then she turned to Pooh and smiled evilly to him.
"As for you, fluffy: Don't worry about your fluff. I will get you stuffed with turkey filling when I serve you as the main course together with your little piggy friend here tomorrow."
Lucifer looked up at Pooh, snickering evilly. Lady Tremaine calmly took the candlestake, and looked over at the prisoners.
"I unfortunately have to leave you now, gentlemen. I suggest you enjoy this night. It will be your last night ever."
Edgar laughed an evil laughter as he followed Lady Tremaine upstairs and out of the room. Lucifer joined his mistress, knowing there would be many treats on him in the party. The door with the hidden entrance closed quietly, and the dungeon was again in darkness.

~~As Bronx~~ (( And for those who don't know what he looks like... gargoyles.dracandros.com/Bronx )) Bronx watched as two humans walked out of the cellar. Through the open window, he caught their scent, and growled softly. It was a bad smell, and Bronx could tell that these were not nice people. He wanted to go after them, but Elisa had given him a job. Once the door was shut, Bronx pushed his way through the window, landing on the floor. The fires lit below the bear and pig gave more than enough light for him to see. Walking over to the human in chains, he dropped the note in front of him, rubbing against him in a friendly way. He took the chain in his mouth, growling as he pulled, snapping them in two, freeing him from the wall. Looking towards the bear and pig, Bronx jumped above them, catching both ropes in his mouth, breaking them as he landed. Bronx recognized Pooh from when he and Goliath met him in Paris. Laying down on the ground, Bronx whined at him to climb on. Once Pooh was on his back, he leaped on the furniture, leading him back outside the window. He raced for the forest, and once in the safety of the trees, he laid on the ground again, so Pooh could slid off. Bronx licked him, happy he was safe.

“Main course!? Oh no! Please! Not Piglet!” Pooh cried as Lady Tremaine spoke and then turned on him next. Pooh gulped and looked up at her with his wide innocent eyes.
“Turkey filling?” he repeated, trembling a little bit with fear. “Oh please... bother... please!” He looked down at the fire that was roaring underneath him and then up at the mean old lady and the others as they left... leaving only their evil laughter echoing behind them.
Sighing sadly Pooh looked down at the fire and then up at the chains that clung to his wrists and held him up. Sooner or later the mean old lady would be back and Pooh still wouldn’t have an answer for her and that would mean big trouble for him, Piglet and Quasi... Pooh perked up at a new noise, a noise he only slightly recognized, and he looked down and saw a dark shape moving towards Quasi. Pooh didn’t know if this was a good dark shape, or a bad dark shape, but he stayed quiet, waiting to find out.
When the dark shape moved up and broke the chains, Pooh found himself falling and he thumped a little as he hit the ground.
“Ooof,” he grunted and moved to sit up. He rubbed a spot on his butt that hurt and looked up to see that the dark shape was indeed a good dark shape because it was...
“Bronx!” Pooh exclaimed excitedly and he wobbly stood to his feet moving towards him. “Oh I missed you so my dear friend...”
He hugged Bronx lightly, his arms stiff from having dangled so long and then at Bronx’s whining he climbed on his back. The next thing Pooh knew he was out of the dungeon and racing through a forest, the forest he’d watched the sunset in all that time ago... Once they came to a stop, Pooh slid off of Bronx and lay on his back looking up at the stars until Bronx’s tongue clouded his vision and he found himself chuckling softly as he was licked.
“It is really good to see you,” he told him softly, moving to sit up and giving him an even bigger hug. “You are a hero! We shall have to throw you a hero party... but...” Pooh paused, his celebration turning to sadness.
“Oh Bronx, you must help Piglet and Quasi,” he said worriedly. “There’s a mean old lady in there that wants to eat them! Please... will you?”

~~As Bronx~~
Bronx rubbed against Pooh, happy to see his friend again, and away from the bad room with the bad people. At Pooh's request to save Piglet and Quasi, he barked once, before licking the bear's cheek. He nudged Pooh towards the park, wanting his friend to get away from this bad place and find some friends who would take care of him. Bronx gave a farewell bark before hurrying back to the mansion, ready to get the other two prisoners to safety.
