((Seeing as we are in short supply of a Captain Hook, I suppose that everyone can godmode him to your heart's content.))
The sun hung low in the west, the brilliant colors of the sunset just beginning to settle upon the waters, casting festive lights off of the waves.
Oh, the irony.
Anchored far out at sea where no one could oppose them, a lone ship floated lazily upon the sea. Against the silhouette of the sunset, a figure with a magnificent feathered hat stalked the deck, screwing in a gleaming gold hook where his left hand should have been.
Tonight was the night. The night she would marry him, and with luck, that infernal Peter and the equally annoying Jim would be lured right into his trap. Peter was completely missing-in-action, and Hook had flayed captain Teague's miserable crew so badly that there was no hope of the young teenager to ever come back in time.
...And if she dared to refuse him, she would take a trip down memory lane plank! And THIS TIME, he would hear the splash!
Hook chuckled with twisted glee. Time for the happy couple to finally tie the knot...

[Copied and Edited from 'Lookie What Hookie Caught']
This was the day.. She was forced to marry her nemesis. If she refused, she would walk the plank, but the infamous Captain Hook would also swear to harm any of the two boys Wendy deeply cared for. She heaved a heavy sigh of hopelessness. I've been a fool. I should have never been wandering alone that night, to find myself seized in the hands of pirates...I shall never forget this.. She ardently swore.
That illuminating night at Epcot not too long ago… Wendy couldn’t summarize that night. Indeed, the skies were exceptionally gorgeous than tonight's. The evening started out rather well, just two friends nonchalantly wandering a closed area. And then something happened. Still, it was too obscure to find words to define that moment. He had left that night alone, leaving Wendy to recall to what just happened. That night she couldn’t sleep. Could it have been… feelings?
She had no choice. There stood Wendy Darling, head hung low. It wasn't difficult to identify her from afar; she was the only female on the ship. Her blue nightgown was not present at the moment. Instead.. she looked... dare she say it... lovely this evening. Clad in a white wedding dress, her once undone-curls were now altered to achieve a proper 'do. The only thing that could make her look even more splendid was to get rid of that hopeless frown. Hook's jovial crew stood alligned, cheering for the... ugh.. to-be-married couple. Just thinking of those words made her twitch with disgust... but no hope. Peter was gone... he probably forgot all about her anyways. Who needed him? She perversely asked herself.
Her pretty face continued to peer down with glum. She started down the empty lane, like an aisle. There stood Hook, smiling wickedly.. his silver hook shining shockingly. I will not marry him. I. Will. Not.
... but who could hope 'not?'

((Posting as Jim and Howl))
Not far off, two more ships loomed just beyond the horizon... Resupplied, armed to the teeth, and now with a few more vital crew members, the Black Pearl and the Misty Lady crept silently through the sea. At the bow of the Misty Lady stood a lone teenage figure, looking out into the sunset.
Jim's features were as hard and expressionless as stone, his mind focused on one thing only: rescue Wendy. Jim loaded a few pistols that he had tucked into his belt. He was prepared to do whatever it took to set things right, cursed or not. Jim slid the pistols back into his belt and began to tinker with his solar surfer by his side. Flying was one of his strengths, and he would be showing no mercy to Hook.
"Howl, you ready?" Jim shouted to the middle of the deck, looking at the raven-haired wizard that had temporarily joined the crew for the mission.
"Almost." Howl called back, drawing a strange, archaic circle with chalk in the middle of the deck. An identical circle was already on the Black Pearl. Howl then ran up to Jim, gingerly taking the boy's solar surfer and drawing a chalk circle on it, too.
"I... I wish there was something I could do for the curse..." Howl said apologetically, trying to break the silence that had fallen on both ships. "But it's just out of my realm of power."
"It's fine. It's my own fault, anyway." Jim replied flatly. "You're doing all you can."
"She must be really important to you." Howl remarked, trying to get Jim to speak in more than just monotone. He had just... shut up since Howl boarded the ship. He was like a whole different person... And it was not the Jim that Howl knew.
"I wasn't able to save her at the mutiny, so I'm going to save her now." Jim said, and said nothing else on the subject. Thinking about her made him feel even more empty than usual. It was like he was supposed to feel a rush of emotions whenever she popped into his mind, but the curse supressed them. All he felt was... nothing.
"You should start the spell. Everyone's ready." Jim said in the same flat tone, sliding a boot into the foothold on his surfer. "Tell me when to go."
Howl nodded, then, in a rush of feathers, he transformed into his bird-demon guise and took off. "Go!" Howl shouted back down as he rose above the clouds. When he was out of sight, Howl slowly closed his eyes and concentrated...
Below, the Misty Lady, the Black Pearl, and Jim and his solar surfer dissappeared into invisibility.
I know how he feels... Howl thought in the back of his mind. To want to feel someone but at the same time, not be able to feel her. He's in love with Wendy, I'm sure of it.
Jim jimped off the side of the ship, then, flicking the throttle wide, he blasted off over the sea as he slowly faded from visibility. Howl's spell took complete effect, and Jim streamlined himself against the air, Hook's ship rushing up to meet him.
((Wendy, you can play the part up until you jump off the plank.))

Anamaria heard the call, and the crew readied their pistols as the ship's sail carried them further closer to the treatorous wedding. The colors were hoisted, but remain hidden under a thick coat of wizardry. Hearing the men becoming to rowdy and loud, Anamaria glared them to silence, as a loaded pistol kissed the cranium of the loudest closest crew member.
"Ye hush ye lip o ye be swimmin for it in Davy Jones locker, all of ye." With a nod, she went back to the wheel. She could see Jim and Howl from, and her hands followed behind them with turns of the large wooden wheel.
She kept her thoughts to herself at the memory of the previous Captian of the Misty Lady. Anamaria gave herself a moment of silent, while looking up to the clouds. She had missed the farewell with The Keeper of the Code, a legendary pirate, Captn Teague. Like dusting off sand, she brushed her hair off her shoulder and left the emotions behind; there was a task to do up ahead, and such weakness wasn't wanted or needed.

James sat quietely, contemplative, on the steps of The Black Pearl. He hadn't wanted to say goodbye to Captain Teague, the only sense of experience and strength on this ship. Sadly, the young man had been feeling vulnerable and even lost lately...emotions he used to think he were not capable of feeling. But that was when I ruled Port Royale as Commodore...
Jim, the young lad was nearly as quiet and solemn as James was himself. It would have started James if he weren't in such a state himself. He was unsure of this journey, and had even lost some faith in his own skills. Was it right for him to suddenly fall? What would they all say and think if they truly knew how he felt...
Still, he wore a frigid facade of strength and duty. There was an innocent young lady to be saved...and as a member of this crew, James would do what he could in aid.

Post by Captain Hector Barbossa on Mar 2, 2009 19:57:38 GMT -5
Barbossa looked out at the open ocean, seeing the Misty Lady along side of his ship. He stood proudly, as he always did when he had his hand on the wheel of the Black Pearl, with the wind blowing the large feather in his hat. Seeing the majestic Misty Lady, steered by Anamaria for the time being, made him reflect upon the loss presence of the Keeper of the Code. So he looked onward, feeling it was all he could do whenever a fellow pirate is with him no more.
He saw Hook's ship ahead and, finding Howl and Jim disappear into the distance, maneuvered the Pearl in their direction.
"Gents!" He shouted to the crew. "Prepare the cannons!"
The crew immediately obeyed with a chorus of "Iye iye capt'n!" and "yes capt'n!"
Spinning the wheel, he aligned the ship with Hook's broadside, while still keeping adequate distance. He waited for Jim's signal before he moved further. Jack the monkey hopped up on the railing in front of the wheel holding an apple to him. Barbossa grinned, relieved to be brought out if his thoughts for a moment. "Why thank ye Jack."
He took the apple and before taking a bite, noticed Norrington on the stairs looking a bit distraught. He took some steps down the stairs and leaned on the railing by his side.
"Don't look so disheartened, lad," Barbossa commented. "We'll be gettin' t' th' young maiden soon enough." He paused. "Or is it other thoughts that be runnin' through yer head?" He tossed the apple in the air, caught it, and held it out to James. "Apple?"

The crew gasped and sighed in awe of the girl who walked down aisle like.. a treasure chest. Hook grinned like he had won a prize. Wendy only rolled her eyes in irritation. She clutched onto the dead boquet of flowers, breaking a few weak stems. A petal dropped along the way like a tear. She approached the pirate villain with her nose in the air.
"Now, m'dear princess, tonight you and I shall be united as one when the sun sets." Hook grasped his pocket watch as it tick-tocked like... shudder... Tick-Tock the crocodile. Stashing the watch back into his pocket, he turned to Smee. The man in the red cap and blue striped uniform withdrew his book on nuptial law, and began shuffling through the pages like the real clergyman. Wendy rolled her eyes at the formal occasion.
“Gather round! Gather ‘round on de Black Pearl!” Smee beckoned the guests and the to-be-weds to come forward. Reluctantly, Wendy proceeded forward with a sour face.
“Dearly beloved, we be gathered here today… err…uhhh…” He flipped through the pages and adjusted his glasses. “Right! We be gathered here today…” The captain rolled his eyes with such impatience, that he lifted up his hook in a threatening gesture. Time was too vulnerable to be wasted. “ENOUGH TALK, SMEE!” He striked his assistant in the head with his silver hook, and the poor old man collapsed unconscious on the floor.
Hook gently polished his Hook with a handkerchief, and faced dear Wendy with gentle, submissive eyes… that of a gentleman. A FAKE gentleman. “Now, m’dear Wendy Darling, do you take me… to be your wedded… husband?” He smirked. His plan would not be flawed. He had taken extra – emphasize that – time to put this plan into action. Nothing, no one could come in his way to steal his bride. Not one of her devilish suitors will find them when the sun went down…
“No.” Was the answer.
Hook’s pleasing eyes turned to startled ones, as he darted them at the child. Did she just decline? He chuckled, pretending he never heard her unacceptable response. “I beg your pardon, dear Wendy, would you repeat that?”
“No. I do not, you old codfish,” she reiterated firmly. She tossed her boquet of flowers violently on the ground. Her free arms folded, and she glared with objection to the entire crew.
Agitated and furious, the old codfish’s face turned a hot red. “Bloody wench!” He struck the maiden with his right hand fiercely. “You have destroyed this perfectly unflawed plan of mine! You will pay for the sudden change of mind. You knew the consequences! Well, you've made a selfish decision, and I can assure you they will be fulfilled... AFTER you are finished tonight. CREW! Where are the ropes?!” He pointed his hook at the ready plank that awaited any misbehaved crewmembers.
A dizzy Wendy was oblivious to the alternative. Having been knocked to the ground after the decline, she could not recollect her senses easily. “Oh!” A burly, tall pirate fastened Wendy to the ground, while another took hold of her wrists, and finally another tying them together with a stiff rope. About five pirates then led her to the lane of her demise. “Go on! Get it over with!” the crew snarled. “Hush!” silenced Hook, as he waved his hook down to shut the crew up. He wanted to hear a splash… to make up for the one foiled by that impish pixie boy!
Wendy turned back at the crew with a glare, unafraid. She was going to walk the plank. The sharks down below were welcoming her. She peered down at the blue below her… she admitted it was dreadful. She heaved a quiet sigh and stared forward, recollecting her final thoughts. Peter. Mother. Father. My Brothers. My dear friends. Jim…
She shed another tear, just like the first time she almost met her demise. And with a firm nod of her head, she was at the edge already. Another inch her tiny foot went, and she no longer stood…
-whistle-

Quietly, silently, Jim's surfer rose up to meet the ship. He scanned the deck, looking for her face...
As he found it, his heart skipped a beat. Hook had decked her out for the occasion, and she was simply beautiful. Jim shook his head. Wait for the moment.
Jim frowned as Hook's bumbling fist mate started the rights, only to be finished by the impatient captian. Jim raised an invisible fist in triumph as Wendy refused him. Good girl! Now just get away from the crowd so I can pick you up...
It didn't quite happen the way Jim wanted it to. He clenched his fists with rage as Hook struck her, desperately restraining himself from shooting Hook dead right on the spot. Jim watched helplessly as the pirates surrounded and bound Wendy... He didn't have much time! Howl's spell only lasted for a measly five minutes.
Jim drifted a bit closer to the action, trying to make out what the pirates that surrounded Wendy were doing...
The plank. Jim whirled around to face the simple board of wood that one of the crewmembers had just pulled out. She was going to walk the plank.
Jim pulled his surfer into a quick dive, stalling beneath the plank. He looked at his hand for a split second... the visibility was fading back. If one looked very hard at the supposedly empty space on the port and starboard sides of Hook's ship, one could make out the faint, ghostly outlines of the Black Pearl and the Misty Lady.
Jim's head snapped back to Wendy. She was walking down the board... Jim's heart sank as she cried, wishing that he could tell her what was going on right then and there...
Then her feet touched air, and gravity took its effect. Howl spell spent its last seconds, and Jim and the ships materialized as if out of thin air. Jim deftly caught Wendy in his arms, smiling at her in spite of the urgency of the situation.
"I promised I'd come back for you."
Jim set her on her feet on the surfer, then, holding her tight by her waist, he flicked the throttle wide and blasted over Hook's ship, taking a pistol out of his belt. He raised it and fired a single shot into the air.
The signal.
"OPEN FIRE!!" Jim shouted to his allies, rocketing over to the Misty Lady.

NO SPLASH?!
Hook frowned, and wore a look of disbelief. His whiskers even fell. A pirate in green stared down below. "Jinx! Another jinx! Captain! No splash! We're bewitched! Bewitched, I tell you!" He flailed his arms upright and ran countless laps around the ship. Hooligan! Hook wickedly peered down below at the still water. "No splash..." He gritted his teeth scathingly. He held his Hook upright and set his feet one of the sail's wires--
"OOOFF!" Old Hookie was sent off his feet, falling hard on the ground.
Blast! What was that thing that sent him off so violently. He rubbed his face, and a large bump on his head. "NOW WHO --" His long mouth dropped. "Hawkins!" And Wendy! She was right next to him. Another flying devil caught her from another failed splash. In the boy's hands was a gun, and he shot upwards toward the air. Behind him another ship emitted.. The Misty Lady had returned. "Look alive, crew! Fire your weapons and canons! Get those scurvy brats!" he snarled.
"P-Peter??" Her eyes were kept shut, but she immediately flicked them... not to find a auburn-head boy in green, but a smiling young man she was absolutely thrilled to see! "Oh.. Jim! You came back!" she cried with a mix of glee and surprise. His arms carefully hugged her upon her fall... just like Peter had done before. Wendy peered down below her.. they were above the water. She'd been saved again!! The boy who caught her was flying! Right! It was his surfer! He swifted away with a fierce look of revenge, and she carefully held tight onto him in fear for the sharks.. or Tick-Tock... To her astonishment... behind the two was the Misty Lady pulling up ahead. Another fray was near! But Jim stood alongside her with determination... The young boy was directing the battle. Hopefully... her safety was ensured...

Barbossa heard the signal immediately came alert. "ARRR ye gents heard th' signal! Stations, lads! " Barbossa tossed the apple into James' lap. Jack the monkey promptly scurried over and took it from him before he could even react and scurried away just as quickly.
Barbossa took the wheel again and pushed the Pearl towards Hook's ship, in sync with the Misty Lady. The crew was racing all over the ship, hurrying to cannons and grabbing weapons. "Prepare fer war, men! Lets give Hook a proper greetin'!"
When he the ship was lined up, he paused....already feeling the excitement of battle. He smirked before shouting his favorite command: "FIRE!"

Pintel and Ragetti were laying against some barrels on deck, waiting for orders. They already had their cannons ready.
"Poor lad got th' curse, t's a shame." Pintel said, drinking from a canteen.
"Yeah, a shame..." Ragetti responded. "Though maybe Wendy likes a lad with an abundance a' time."
"Yes, bein' undead will do tha' t' ya." Pintel rolled his eyes.
"Yeah." He nodded. "T-Then Jim can never say he doesn' 'ave time for her, isn't tha' right Pintel?" He snickered and nudged him in the side.
They both jumped when they heard the gunshot and Barbossa shout orders. The duo both jumped up and got to their stations. Ragetti squinted to aim the cannon as the Pearl approached the ship.
"Wha' kinda name is Hook anyway?" Pintel said, aiming the cannon himself.
"T's th' most logical. He's got a hook for a hand. "
"So we should call ye woody then, aye?" Pintel said with a mischievous grin. "Fer yer wooden eye."
Ragetti gave him a glare. "No, no, no, tha's not th' same at all. Does Jack have a pet sparrow? No."
Suddenly Barbossa shouted the order to fire.
"Make th' shot good ragetti!" Pintel shouted.
Ragetti snickered and lit the cannon.
The cannons fired at Hook's ship.

((I hope you don't mind me taking over where the previous Ariel left her in this plot))
Ariel felt like she’d spent a week crawled up in a dark and dirty room. Which for a matter of fact she had. Fortunately her capture had not been part of the original plan, so when she escaped it wasn’t noticed, which let the girl hide without the fear of the pirates looking for her. Unfortunately, she was still confined to the ship, for there were always people patrolling the decks and had never been able slip overboard to freedom. A week had passed in this manner, with Ariel having to lurk beneath the decks of the ship and sneak away any food she could.
“Wedding day,” she muttered anxiously as the sounds of the wedding march began to ring out from the deck above. She crept up to the door, opening it a crack and looking out sympathetically at the girl Wendy’s plight. “I have to do something,” she muttered to herself. Ariel had been racking her brains to try and come up with a rescue plan; however the situation seemed fairly hopeless. She came close to bursting out recklessly when Wendy was forced along the plank; however her eyes widened in surprise as Jim Hawkins sprang seemingly out of nowhere and saved Wendy at the last moment.
“Time to go,” cried Ariel in pleasant surprise as a volley of canon fire rocked the ship, signalling that the counter-attack against hook had begun. Ariel reached to her side, drawing out a pistol she’d retrieved from a store room over the week, and readying it for when she was ready to break away and get to the rescue ship.

James grimaced, about to grumble a reply until shouts were heard, Barbossa dropping the apple into his lap.
"Oh, lovely" he groaned sarcastically, about to snatch the apple and remove it from his lap before a monkey did it for him. "Well that was actually helpful..."
James rose to his feet, green eyes serious and focused, ready. Barbossa had re-claimed the wheel and was now directing the crew to fire. In the distance, he had seen Jim's signal, the gunshot. James snapped to attention immediately, making sure all the canons were loaded before screaming at the remainder of the crew to fire as well, and they hastily complied.
In the back of his mind, James wondered about Jim and Wendy. Clearly, they were all right for the time being. He hoped they'd be able to reach them in time.

Jim wheeled around the Misty Lady's mast, carefully sliding his own boots out of the footholds on his surfer. He gently pushed Wendy's feet into the loops while taking her hands and placing them on the sail's steering.
"Hold on!" he shouted over the wind, blasting back to Hook's ship. Jim scanned the deck for any sign of the other captive... and then there was a bright flash of red hair.
"Ariel!" Jim shouted as he swung the surfer in a dive, his boots braced against the engine to keep him from falling off.
"Grab on!" Jim stretched out a hand while he held on to the sail with the other, precariously balanced on the surfer.

“Jim!” exclaimed Ariel happily as the teenage swooped down out of the sky towards her, “boy am I happy to see you.” She sprang up, balancing one foot on a crate so that she could take the hand and swing herself up behind Jim without pulling him off onto the deck as well. She braced herself before it sped away again, not wanting to fall into the crowd of pirates below.
“This has been one bad week,” muttered Ariel, fumbling the pistol briefly and almost dropping it. Fortunately she managed to kick it up again at the last moment, grabbing it again and tucking the weapon away into a deep pocket.
“So how can I help?” she asked bravely, determination clear in her eyes, “I’ll never abandon my friends.”
