Jack twittled his fingers as he thought of what to say. He thought back and remembered when he was on the Misty Lady and Davy Jones had attacked them during there journey to the Isle De Mureta. He remembered when he told him that he was willing to spare his soul for Elizabeth and now that she had the Black Spot on her he could use her as a proper leverage. He looked to Elizabeth then back at Norington then said. "I will be willing to go on board the Dutchman and make an accord with Jones convincing him to removing The Black Spot. While you, not being the sole person per say, but you along with your men can do the ambushing with your little cannons and what not. Then, if all goes according to plan our dearly beloved will be saved from her grim fate. What’ve got to loose?”He asked him hoping that he will give in to his plan.
He was willing to help remove the Black Spot that Barbossa placed on her but he was still disappointed with Elizabeth and was not sure if he wanted to continue to stay with her, but if all goes according to plan then she will be saved along with Lillian.

Elizabeth remained quiet as Jack, James and Barbossa talked about her fate. She was becoming more anxious and fearful when they all agreed there was nothing they could do to remove the Black Spot that was currently etched onto her palm. That palm was balled into a tight fist, as if Elizabeth was trying to squeeze it away. She released herself from James after a long moment, knowing it wasn't right for her to be relying on his comfort.
Her tears had subsided and her breathing was so quiet, she almost wasn't sure if she was breathing anymore. She was waiting for a sound to indicate that the Kraken was on it's way, but still nothing, thank the Lord. How had this happened to her? Why had this happened? Just because she had wanted a say? Elizabeth turned to Jack, still close to James. Her eyes were cold and for a moment, she felt hatred for her husband for allowing this to happen.
"If I am taken by it..." She took a shuddering breath before she continued, "I'd rather see Lillian an orphan than with a cold-hearted pirate."
She didn't care at that moment that Jack was willing to talk with Davy Jones... it was too late, she couldn't bring her hopes up. She was just too upset at having the spot at all... Elizabeth couldn't bring herself to even glance at Barbossa in fear of acting out her anger on him because she knew it wouldn't help her situation.
