Pocahontas nodded to Elisa and E. They seemed like very friendly people. She didn't understand what E meant my superheroes. Perhaps she meant the great spirits, as they had magical powers.
"New York City? Is that your villiage? Where is that? Yes, I am from the Powhatan tribe. I'm the chief's daughter actually. You know of my people?"

Elisa smiled at Pocahontas' questions.
"New York is a very big village." She said. "There's buildings everywhere, some so tall they stretch past the clouds, with lights so bright they make nighttime seem like day. We're called the City that Never Sleeps, and for good reason.
"My father was part of a Hopi tribe out west. He spoke of the Powhatan tribe often. He's a great admirer of your father."

Yzma raised her eyebrow at the gypsy as she started a greeting, but stopped herself, admitting she had been mistaken. Mistaken! she snorted mentally. Who could she possibly be mistaken for? I don`t know who you were expecting, but i`m empress Yzma of Peru, she introduced herself with a hint of arrogance in her voice, making clear she weren`t just anyone. She eyed the little goat as she were told it had a serious fever, her eyes didn`t held a trace of concern for the animal. If the goat didn`t survive the fever it would be a perfect opportunity to gather more ingredients to her potions. Well in either case she could always attempt to fetch some hair straws to make a new goat extract. She needed everything she could get to rebuild her lab, and collections of potions, as she hadn`t been able to bring along more than a small amount of it, as she left her former home. She listened to their conversation with distance and arrogance in her eyes, waiting to see the results of the young witch`s herbs.

Goliath ran through the park on all fours, Bronx racing beside him. The wind from the storm made it too difficult for him to glide, particulary if he were carrying Bronx as well.. He didn't mind the rain, but he still wanted to get out of the storm. Seeing a large mansion ahead of him, he made his way to the front doors. Goliath lifted his talon to open the door, growling softly when it opened on it's own. The scent of death assualted his senses, and several humans, a few animals, and strange herbs also reached his nose.
He gasped as he suddenly picked out a very familiar scent.
"Elisa!" Goliath abandoned his concerns about this place and stepped through the double doors, Bronx right behind him. Without warning, the doors slammed behind them. Goliath's eyes glowed a bright white, and with an enraged roar, he spun around and began to pound on the doors, and Bronx clawed at them in an effort to open them, with no success. Growling softly again as his eyes slowly dimmed, he clasped his wings around his shoulders.
"Come, Bronx." Goliath said. "Elisa is in here somewhere, and we must find her."

A sudden roar made everyone in the room jump in fright, but Elisa grinned widely.
"It's okay, don't be afraid, anyone!" Elisa said. "I know who that is!"
Goliath rounded the corner, smiling in relief as he saw Elisa. Bronx barked happily when he saw for himself that Elisa was safe.
"Goliath!" Elisa raced towards her friend, throwing her arms around his neck. She sighed happily as she felt him return the hug, wrapping her in his wings.
"I'm so glad you're here." She whispered.
Beside them, Bronx huffed impatiently.
"You too, Bronx." Elisa laughed.

Goliath and Elisa released each other from their tight embrace, though he kept her within arms length. Running a talon through her dark hair, Goliath smiled again, relieved that she was safe.
"What are you doing here?" Goliath asked.
Elisa explained to him the odd situation that led to the group being trapped in this strange place, including the scare regarding Djali.
"We must move on. This house is not safe." Goliath said. He looked towards Esmeralda. "If you wish, I can carry Djali as we find a way out."

Esmeralda beamed with joy as she looked at the newcomers. She too went over to them and gave them a gentle hug, and rubbed Bronx behind the ears while speaking friendly to him.
"Bronx and Goliath - how nice to see you again, though I am sorry you are trapped her like the rest of us."
She smiled when hearing Goliath's kind offer. She felt relief, because she had seen the face expression of Yzma, and knew her beloved goat was not safe in her presence. With Goliath as a guardian, she doubted anyone would dare to harm Djali.
With a warm smile she lifted her feverish tiny goat, and placed him in Goliath's arm, lowering her voice so only he and Elisa could hear her.
"I will be grateful if you help me protect Djali. I saw the face of the Yzma woman. If she could use Djali for her own evil purposes, she would. But I will not give her a chance to come near my goat. With you three to help me guard him, besides Pocahontas and myself, I know he will be safe."

Goliath held Djali in his arms, then enveloped the tiny goat in his wings. Hearing Esmeralda's concern, Goliath glanced over at Yzma. Indeed, the woman did seem as if she were planning something. Bronx growled softly at her.
"Easy boy." Goliath whispered.
He turned to Esmeralda. "Of course, we will protect Djali."
"Come." Golaith said to the crowd. "Let us be on our way."

Elisa retrieved her red jacket from Djali, slightly relieved that the goat hadn't decided to make a snack out of it. At the same time, it made her worry. If Djali was passing up cloth, purple or not, he must still be feeling sick. However, seeing Bronx and Goliath seemed to brighten Djali's mood a little, so he must be on the road to recovery.
Elisa lowered her voice. "That Yzma woman has been giving me the creeps ever since she walked in. But don't worry. With Goliath and Bronx here, she'd have to be insane to try and hurt Djali. And none of us will let her out of our sight."
She placed a comforting hand on Esmeralda's shoulder. "We'll all keep Djali safe."

Esmeralda smiled when she heard the words of Goliath and Elisa. She felt safe now, knowing that nothing would happen to her beloved little goat. Knowing that Djali could not see Bronx all the time while resting in Goliath's arms, Esmeralda bent down and picked up Bronx, patting his head gently. She held him in her arms and carried him in a way that would allow Djali to see his friend all the time.
She lowered her voice too.
"She gives me the creeps too. I can easily imagine her making potions in the moonlight, for evil purposes. Thank you for helping me keeping Djali safe."
Suddenly the house seemed darker, and evil creaking and crackling sounds could be heard. A low, chuckling evil laugher echoed through the room. Their arrivals had been noticed.

Chicken heard the laughter echoing in the mansion as he shook in fear. "W w What was that?" He slowly moved back a bit until he looked around and noticed Esmeralda was carrying someone other than Djali as he shook in fright and was about to faint.

The evil laughter sent chills down Elisa's spine. Out of habit, she moved closer to Goliath.
Shivering, she brought her arms around her. "Why is it so cold all of a sudden?"
The evil laughter came once more, though this time it seemed to becoming from a different direction than the first one.
"Goliath's right." Elisa said. "It's time to go."

Pocahontas listened to Elisa's description of her village with interest. It sounded a lot like London. She mentioned that her family was from the Hopi tribe, whom her father had had dealings with.
"Yes, I know the Hopi well," she said. "It is an honor to meet the daughter of such a great tribe. I miss my people very much. Do you miss yours?"
She wanted to ask more when a strange creature arrived. For a moment, Pocahontas thought it was Cherabog, but this creature seemed to be a friendly heart. She listened quietly as the others talked when she heard the sound that had alerted them.
Goliath took care of Djali and Esmerelda grabbed Elisa's cat Bronx. Pocahontas could see Chicken Little was getting scared and gently scooped him into her arms. She didn't want to see her friend get hurt.
"What was that?" she whispered to Esmerelda, huddling close to the others for protection and to know where they were.

Edna looked and noticed some strange new visitors who looked odd. "This can't be real..Is that...A Gargoyle?" She asked as she removed her spectacles to rub the lens and then put them back on. "What is this?" Suddenly she heard the laughter and looked around "This place is starting to be a bother."

Post by Winnie the Pooh on Feb 15, 2009 21:32:59 GMT -5
Pooh had been hiding out under a tree as the weather had turned horribly bad, the rain and wind was picking up and the lightening strike that filled the sky had him cowering. He had to run, the storm was getting worse and if he didn’t get out of there soon the wind might pick him up and that was something he didn’t want.
Covering his head with his paws Pooh took off into the weather, tripping a few times, but getting back up he made his way down the empty streets, his fur becoming drenched with rain. Another crack of lightening and a boom of thunder from above had him running faster and before he knew it he slammed into a doorway.
“Ow!” he gasped, as he fell back onto his bottom. He rubbed at his sore nose but stopped as he looked up at where he had found himself. “Oh my goodness...” It was a mansion that almost looked scarier than the storm brewing around it and Pooh wasn’t sure he wanted to go inside.
“Oh my goodness!” he cried out as the wind picked up and the door opened, sending Pooh flying inside. He rolled inside the mansion coming to stop near a dark opening in some broken floorboards and he began to fall into it, his paws gripping tightly to the edge of the boards. He heard the sound of evil laughter, defiantly not the friendly kind and felt fear grip him.
“HEEEEEEEEELP!” he called as his paws started to slip and he looked down towards the dark hole he was soon going to fall into.
