<<Something about her reminded him slightly of a certain shrunken head he knew...Bwa-ha-ha-haaaa!>>
Panchito laughed uproariously as the two unsuspecting victims were sprayed with water. This was the best joke he'd played in a long time!
After rolling on the ground for a while, the rooster jumped to his feet. "Gracias for the picture, senora. It was muy divertido...very funny!"
This old woman was so easy to annoy, she made the perfect victim!
Panchito didn't realize it, he was so busy laughing, but he stood up a full foot shorter than he'd been a minute ago. The vacquero was youthening rápidamente, suddenly looking more like a pullet than a full-grown rooster.
<<We'll see who's the brattiest, shall we? ;D >>

<<Thanks so much for coming back! This thread is near and dear to my heart. Mostly because Basil is so gonna hate it!
Thanks also for keeping Archie as is. I think that'll be just perfect.>>
Basil stared at the group--were his eyes playing tricks on him?
He'd thought Toby looked somehow smaller, but now, so did Panchito. And Merlin's beard was no longer white, it was streaked with brown and no longer reached to his knees.
"I say, Merlin, are you casting some sort of spell?"
<<If brown's not the right colour, just say so, and I'll modify>>

Panchito didn't even notice what was happening to him, which wasn't surprising, since he was now about ocho años nad still growing younger.
All he knew was, he was ready for some fun!
Panchito had been pretty wild as un niño; his parents had let him do just as he pleased, shrugging their shoulders and saying, "El es un muchacho" at every new prank and problem.
Now he was a kid again, ready for mischief with a capital 'm!' Looking around, Panchito spotted the dog Toby. " 'ey, perro!" he shouted gleefully, chasing the hound around the fountain.

Claude Frollo pressed his shoulder, and with a slight shudder, he turned his gaze to the mouse. The infernal posing of questions and answers made his migraine swell with a passionate sort of pain. He clutched his head, the poor fool, bothered and irked.
He did not look over the group as he felt the grass move beneath his feet, now walking off his raving temper, for he had a terrible day. With the years, much of his civility became nothing but a mere memory and nothing more.
"By God," muttered Claude bitterly to himself. He noticed an oddly dressed man, old and aged. His eyes narrowed.
Witchcraft.

Faster and faster the tireless young chicken ran around the fountain's basin, shrieking gleefully as he tried to catch the pup. He ran heedlessly into the characters standing around, not caring a bit when he knocked Basil flat on his back.
After several earsplitting minutes of this, Panchito stopped short, noticing for the first time the newcomer. Tugging at the long black robe, the pullet asked, "Por qué you do wear un vestido...a dress? Are you a boy or a girl?"

<<Thanks for bringing Frollo along. I take it you want him to touch the waters? If so, either have Frollo do it himself, or just say so, and someone else will be glad to help him get wet>>
Basil was trying desperately to make sense of the thing, all the while calling for Toby to heel. Never the best-behaved animal, the now-young pup paid no attention whatever to its master's orders.
In the corner of his eye, Basil spotted a newcomer. Ah, yes, that 14th century French judge with the predilection for gout. He remembered seeing the man once or twice, though they were not truly acquainted.
But Basil had more important concerns than Frollo. He wanted Toby to stand still long enough so he could make out what was happening, but as the mouse tried in vain to gain control of the situation, Panchito dashed past and bowled him over painfully onto the hard-packed earth.

(Basil: brown is fine with me, and OMG FROLLO!! ;D )
Merlin, noticing the change as well, threw a curious glance at the youthening chicken. And the strange woman, not only did he look about 20 years younger, but a slight bit prettier.
Why, no, the wizard turned to Basil. Indeed this is magic, but it`s not mine i can assure you.
On these few minutes passing his beard already had shrinked to about half the size it`d been before, and not a single grey hair were to spot.
---------------
Yzma rubbed her eyes, as he noticed the youthening of most of her companions. What. on. earth. was. going. on??
Upon the new arrival, she looked upon the man, now he weren`t all that bad.
Swaying her hips seductively he went over to the newcomer in black, batting her eyelashes flirtatiously. A pleasure to finally meet someone in their right mind in this jungle, she commented lighthearted. Unknown to her, she were youthening fast enough for anyone to notice a difference from minute to minute. Her skin was now less purple, and more in a normal color. While not exactly gorgeous she were generally prettier than usual. She didn`t notice any of it, the only thing she knew was that she felt different than she`d done in ages. Much.. lighter, were perhaps the best way to put it.
I`m empress Yzma, she introduced herself with a flirtatious smile to the handsome looking man in front of her.

<<No! You are not going to fall for Yzma, are you? LOL!!
Good thing Panchito's too young, or he'd be after her, too.>>
Basil picked himself up rather painfully and dusted himself off, while Toby bounced up and down, tongue hanging out, hoping that someone would pet him.
"Very well. Some magic spell is at work here. We must find the source and put a stop to it at once."
Surely he could reason this out.
Merlin, Yzma, Toby and Panchito were each growing by the minute, while he himself and Archimedes appeared to be unaffected. Since there was no common factor between the mouse and the owl, they were not in some way immune. Rather it was something that placed the spell on those four only.
Or someone. Could this newcomer be a wizard as well as a judge?
