David drew in a long, measured breath, but said nothing, nor moved a muscle, far too relaxed to. Still very much enraptured with the sun’s warmth, resumed in basking in the sunlight where he had left off to continue his undisturbed rest.
He was scarcely aware of the falling leaves passing him by as he leaned back agaisnt the tree’s rough bark, proclaiming silent praise of the golden afternoon. He was forever bound to the tree like sap. Quite comfy, he oddly mused to himself as he snuggled closer to it.
The charmed Surfer made his bliss known with a little sigh. After a minute or two he was suddenly tempted to take in the scenery and allowed himself the effort to open one squinty eye. He opened the other. David's brown eyes were now wide with child-like wonder. What a world.
"It is nothing like Hawaii, but it sure makes for great eyecandy." He praised, running a dark hand through his soft hair.
