Tramp stood in disbelief, staring at the streets before him in sheer pleasure. A city to call his own! This wasn't Paris, but they were streets all the same, streets that he could claim. He walked along, his paws making the familiar sound of padding against the pavement.
He started to hum softly to himself, doing a nice two step every now and then, sure, the Tramp had class, especially when he was at home, he felt plenty at home here. He let out a content bark. Seeing a garbage can ahead he knocked it over with a firm nudge of his nose, watching it clang to the ground. Oh yes, Garbage! The sweet sweet smell of trash! He breathed it in and went to his pickings, yeah, it wasn't Tony's, but it would do.

This is new...Marie thought to herself as she cautiously walked down the street. She did almost everything cautiously, she was a cat. Cats were very cautious, especially of new surroundings and new situations.
Marie heard a noise and she turned around to see what it was. It was a dog. Her sapphire eyes widened in fear. A big, dirty, gray dog. He was eating out of a garbage can that he just knocked over. A garbage can that would've landed on her if she was just a foot closer.
She was terrified. Mr. O'Malley wasn't around to help her, no one was around except her and this dog. What if he attacked?! She couldn't move, she was so scared. Marie tried to quietly walk past the dog without being seen. However, something rolled out from the knocked over can and touched her back paw. She let out a loud meow from fright, and jumped about a mile into the air.

Tramp turned from a half eaten hamburger at the sound of a loud screeching meow, surprise displayed on his big dark eyes. He looked down and smiled at the sight he beheld, a little white kitty who looked just as surprised as he.
It wasn't often Tramp ran into cats, but he had never really been pure enemies with them, neither had he been pure friends with them. He licked his chops clean of the ketchup and mustard and gave her a friendly smile.
"Hey little puss, you don't gotta be scared of the ol' Tramp here, he wouldn't hurt a fly, especially not as a young one as you. What's a little one like you doin' roaming out here all by yourself?"

Great, the dog saw her. Marie's eyes were wide with fear, and she was trembling a little bit, too. Who was this ol' Tramp the dog spoke of? And why was the dog eating garbage? Didn't he have an owner that could give him food? She was silenced with fear, Marie couldn't even utter a meow if she wanted to.
Maybe this dog was a butler to this ol' Tramp, like Edgar was a butler to Madame. The dog said that ol' Tramp wouldn't hurt a fly, but what about this dog? He couldn't hurt her, she was a lady! She finally gained the courage to say something to the dog, "Pardon me, monsieur, but who is this ol' Tramp you speak of?" She asked, not knowing that the dog she was speaking to was The Tramp the dog spoke of.

"Pardon me, monsieur, but who is this ol' Tramp you speak of?"
Tramp blinked a couple times before he realized that the little kitty thought there was some old Tramp besides him running around. He couldn't help but let out a laugh and shook his head.
"Pardon me, mademoiselle. If you'll allow me to make your acquaintance, this old Tramp I speak of is well, me. You see, that's what I was called on the streets of Paris. My apologies for the confusion. What would your name be, lil' darlin'?"
He smiled, trying to show her he was friendly and wouldn't hurt any one on purpose. He scanned the garbage with his eyes, spotting a half eaten piece of pizza. Now that was pricey! He nudged it over towards her.
"Where are my manners? Would you like some?" He asked giving her a friendly grin as he took another large bite of his hamburger.
