I know I am! I did another pageant a couple weeks ago and that particular one wanted us to do everything by the book, such as turning and pivoting correctly, walking the "correct" speed, and posing in particular styles. I ended up showing waaaaay too much personality onstage (ala Our Hero) and apparently I got marked down a lot. Also, I was the only one that wasn't even nervous about anything backstage. I just wanted to go out there that night and have as much fun as I possibly could. I did have fun until crowning. Losing didn't hit me until they were interviewing the top ten for the runner-ups. That's when I really realized, "Oh, I didn't make it..." When I get the DVD in the mail, it'll be interesting to see exactly what I did. Here's a picture of me (I'm in the light pink dress) with some of the other girls that won and the hair & make-up people. Ironically, there's seven of us girls in that picture just like how there's seven flamingos in Fantasia 2000! (Wow, I think way too much into things!) So have you ever had any moments that really stick out where you're too much like your characters? Feel free to share!

Well...in a way, I'm SORT OF like Bambi in real life, though I don't obviously show it to other people I know in real life. lol Personality-wise, I'm like him in that I'm also wide-eyed, curious and have a fairly naive nature. Also, there have been times when I intially felt nervous or unsure about trying something new when given the offer, but I used my self-confidence and (often times) bravery to believe in myself that I could do it in facing something new and unknown. There are also other things about Bambi that slightly parallel my life. For example, I have a mother whom I'm often reliant on for things I don't always understand in life and ask questions about (though I am becoming more independent as I grow older . I have also developed feelings for this girl I met online who is like Faline to me. ^^ And I'm open to playing silly and fun games with other kids when given the chance. Nice group picture, Our Hero.

Thanks for sharing! : )
Okay, my DVD of the pageant came in the mail today and I can definitely see where I went wrong (on round 2). That definitely killed me. The other two rounds were good though (we did these on two different nights plus another seperate day to interview with the judges). But on round 2, I was pretty hyped up lol
