Mulan walked slowly along the shores of a strange land. It waas warm here and she was becoming hot quickly. She was here to find more recruits for her Hero's Army to help defeat Hades. She couldn't understand why people were giving into him and his evil ways. Yes, he was powerful and could easily hurt anyone, but that was no reason to stand aside and just let him take over. A small tear flowed down her cheek as she thought about all of this. It was horrible what was happening. Mulan had a sense of despair in her heart now. She couldn't help it. Sometimes he just seemed so strong. She was only one person. She couldn't defeat him alone. "No," Mulan said to herself. "No, I won't give up. I won't give in. I'll keep fighting till the very end."

Ariel walked across the warm sands, letting them warm her bare feet. The hem of her light blue gown was wet from the waves adn it whipped around her ankles, but she didn't care at all. She sighed and brushed back stray locks of red hair, making sure her glittering crown was still firmly on her head.

Mulan continued to walk slowly, wondering who she could recruit for her army in this strange land. Suddenly, she saw someone walking along the beaach towards her. She couldn't tell exactly who it was from this distance, but the red hair madde her guess that it waas Queen Ariel. Mulan quickened her pace and saw it really was Ariel. Hadn't Hades said Ariel had helped him? Mulan shook her heaad sadly. They weren't evenn trying.

Ariel looked up as she grew closer to the figure. "Hello Mulan." She greeted, smiling lightly as she saw who it was. She had met Mulan once or twice before, and had heard of what she did. She respected the young woman a lot.

Mulan looked at Ariel closely. The queen seemed no different than the other times they had met, but she could feel something dark lurking around them, a telltell sign that Ariel had joined the ranks of Hades' army. Suddenly, Mulan felt hot anger swell up inside here. "Ariel, how could you join Hades?" she asked softly. She just didn't understand how anyone could join him. He was so weird with his freaky blue fire hair.

Ariel looked up. "I haven't joined him Mulan. I promise. I'm just trying to get back the trident." She murmured, slightly ashamed of herself for it. "I'm sorry if you thought that."

Mulan smiled brightly as she heard this news. She was glad Ariel hadn't truly joined him. Se was just trying to save her world the best way she could think of. "I'm glad to hear that, Ariel, and I'm sorry for accusing you of joining him. It's just that he said you had, but he doesn't know any better, does he?" she asked, smiling slyly.

She laughed. "No, lucky for us. But I am on your side." She assured the young woman, smiling slightly. "I'm going to get daddy's trident back so we can defeat Hades."

Mulan nodded her head slowly, taking in everything that Ariel waas saying. They really did need the trident to stop Hades because that was partly what made him so powerful. "Okay, good, but you should try to get it back before he takes over too many worlds. Then we can use it to break hiss spell that he puts on all the worlds." She fell silent then, hoping that this sounded like a good idea.
