Eric didn't know why he was here, he had wanted to get away from the castle and Ariel and his daughter needed to sort things out together, girl to girl time, he would leave them in peace for a couple of days.
At this moment he was sitting on a sunny beach, it was a quite beach, he wore his white shirt and blue trousers with black boots, it was a nice cool pleasent day, the waves blew onto the sand then rushed back out again.
He looked up at the sky and saw seagulls flying over head, this was very nice, very nice indeed.

Mulan arrived on a beach on a small island, soaking wet from swimming in the water. She didn't really kno why she was here. She was just tird of swimming and needed to rest a bit. She had been traveling a lot lately, trying to get people to join the Hero's Army that she was in charge of. Sadly, she was having trouble finding more people to join. They all seemed to be afraid that Hades would make things worse for their worlds. Mulan didn't understand this because he couldn't make a world worse if he had already taken it over, at least she didn't think he could.
As Mulan stood there on the sand, trying to dry her clothes, she saw a man standing not too far away down the beach. She thought he looked familiar but couldn't tell from this distance. Dare she walk up to him? If he was someone of less than respectable nature, she might have to fight him. She was much too tired to do any fighting. On the other hand, he might not be a villian and maybe he would join her army. She stood there a moment more before making up her mind. She started to walk towards the man slowly.

Eric had his eyes closed, smelling the salty air, he looked around and saw a girl coming towards him, now someone was on this desterted beach! He smiled and came towards her, the girl looked young, but on the other hand, he didn't look old.
"Hello." he said to the girl, being slightly weary, just incase the girl was a villin, he couldn't be bothered, it was too hot to fight today.

Jane casually strolled through the forest searching for a specific tree. The island had been only a few miles away from the jungle Jane had inhabited and on the boat no more than 15 minutes or so. A native fruit had grown only on that island and Jane tended to set sail every now and again and pick a few, for special occassions and such. Scanning the surrounding area she watched as a group of baboons swung from tree to tree, unfourtunately there had been no sign of the tree. "Oh bother!" she muttered to herself, continuing through the dense jungle. Jane's eyes widened with delight as she spotted several of the large, blue oval shaped fruit hung in fashionable groups on the palm. Jane dashed for the tree and gave a sudden leap, gripping the tree with her hands and feet. She pushed her legs and began to climb, a neat little trick Tarzan had taught her. Waving the large stick in her right hand she knocked a few down which she cleverly caught in her rucksack. "Delightful!" she grinned. Jane jumped out of the tree and onto a loose vine which she swung on, landing without fault on the ground. Adjusting her homemade skirt and brushing the dirt from her top she skipped towards the beach to sail back home and prepare the special birthday tea for Tarzan. Squinting, Jane noticed two figures not so far away. "Good heavens!" she squealed, running towards them. Jane had thought the island to be deserted, she was wrong..

Eric heard a yell and looked over to see another girl running towards them, he raised an eyebrow, he had thought this place was empty as well but oversly not.
"Hello." he said smiling at the women, "you look happy?" he said grinning and pushing his hair out of his eyes.

Jane's pace quickened as she heard the soft voices of strangers, she was thrilled to meet another human, afterall, it had only been her father and Tarzan. "Hello!" she called, waving her arms manically. The excitement began to rise in Jane and she began to run as fast as her dainty legs would carry her. Giving a shrill shriek Jane tripped and tumbled across the white sand causing her to fall flat on her face. Frowning, Jane picked herself up and spat out the sand while straightening her clothes and running her hand through her lushous locks of hair. "Bother!" she growled, shaking her head. Jane opened her eyes and was almost instantly stuck in a trance as she stared mesmorised at the beautiful and surprisingly clothed man. "Oh my!" she said, grinning with joy. It was a rare sight to see a man with class and clean appearance, it seemed almost abnormal to Jane after being so used to a near naked and the rough and ready Tarzan. "It's lovely to meet you!" she cried, grabbing his hand and giving it a vigourous shake. "Name's Jane! Jane Porter! Who are you?"

"Oh! It's a pleasure to meet you!" she smiled, spinning around in glee. "Eric! What a pretty name.." she smiled, noticing his odd accent. "May I ask? What brings you here?" she wondered, somewhat intrigued why an American would be here on the island. "Your not a hunter are you?" she added, a little worried at the prospect. Many poachers came to the Jungles searching for gorillas and other exotic creatures to kill and sale on for decorations, skin and other dreadful uses, she just hoped he wasn't one of them. Perhaps this man was not a hunter but a man from tales she had heard, the tales of a terrible God who had taken over several worlds. "Who are you?" she asked again, a little weary of the boy.

"No, I came here to get away from the place where I live." Eric said smiling at this very happy little girl, "I'm not a hunter no." he said laughing slightly to himself at this cheerful happy girl and pushing his hair out of his eyes.

Mulan was just about to answer the man's questions when someone came running up the beach towardd them. She blinked several times in shock as the woman introduced herself and started shaking the man's hand. "The man sad his name was Erric. Eric? Where had she had heard that name before? She didn't know the woman, who was pratically bursting with excitement. Mulan couldn't think of anything to say, so she just stood there listening to Eric and Jane talk.

"Well that's a relief.." she giggled softly. "..Those hunters are terrible people." she shuddered, noticing the young oriental beside the man. Jane was shocked there had been two visitors to the island, an American and an Asian. The island was supposed to be deserted yet Jane found it intriguiging and very exciting that there were two mysterious guests stood infront of her. "Hello my dear! Sorry! My name's Jane, are you with young Eric here?" she asked, her grin as wide as ever. Jane gave a sudden gasp as she noticed the large sword tucked in the asian's belt behind her back. "Hunters!" she screamed, swinging the bag of fruit around the girls head. Jane was in a rather sticky situation, she wasn't extremely familiar with the island and she had no means of escape except her boat that was a few miles away. If only Tarzan was here. "Leave the island or you'll be sorry!" she threatened, trying her very best to keep her nerve. "Go on! Shoo!"

Mulan ducked as the girl trieed to hit her with a bag. "I'm not a hunter!" she shouted loudly, taking several step backward. "My name's Mulan. I'm the leader of the Hero's Army." She talked quickly in case the woman triedd to hit her again. She didn't know what was in the bag, but it loooked heavy and potentially injure causing. Mulan stood up a bit straighter, not wanting to show weakness.

"I've heard that before! You have a weapon, am I supposed to believe you!" she growled, picking up her rucksack from the floor. Jane had actually been proud of herself, she had stood up to the poacher without the help of Tarzan and the girl had sincerley been frightened, apparent by the step away and the nervousness of her face. Jane gave one of her trademark glares, one that could scare the toughest of characters. "Go back to where you came from!"

Mulan scowled at the girl, who thought she knew everything. "Okay, I'll leave, but when Hades tries to take over your world, don't ask for my help or my army's, and he will. He's already taken over mine. And if you won't believe me, then I'm very worried of who you will believe." She turned swiftlyon her heal and started to walk away down the beach, fuming. The nerve of that woman, saying she was a poacher just because she had a weapon. Mulan had never hurt a living thing before at least not if she could avoid it. Admittedly, she had hurt a bunch of Huns, but they had invaded her country. She couldn't just stand back and let them take over, the same as Hades.

"Wait!" she called, raising a hand. If the girl was sincere in what she was saying, Jane, her family and her jungle were in trouble. "I believe you.." she shouted, dashing over to the girl before she could go any further. Jane gripped her arm and spun her around, looking deep into the warriors eyes. "I believe you.." she whispered, taking in a deep breath. "I've heard stories of Hades, I know he is a terrible man. I want your help. I need your help Mulan.."
The sun began to set and the waves began to get fiercer as the night's wind drew in, Jane couldn't go back to her treehouse tonight. The sea began to get rougher and the tide became heavier, Jane wouldn't make across alive, especially in her wooden boat that already sported a small hole. It was best she spent the night on the beach, afterall, the people she was marooned with were friendly enough, wern't they?
