Character's Name: Madam Mim
Movies He/She is in: The Sword and the Stone
How is the character like?: Madam Mim is self-serving, bad-tempered, quite unscrupulous, and, above all, mad; she breaks rules that she herself creates or finds loopholes to take advantage of, (in the movie, she did both); she terrorizes Arthur in a demented game of cat and mouse (Merlin as well), much to her amusement; and she has no qualm with destroying either Arthur or Merlin outright. The former over his association with the latter (she has an ongoing grudge-match with the goodly wizard, Merlin, for reasons unknown). She also appreciates things not for their good qualities, but for their bad qualities instead; she takes gleeful pride in how ugly she can become and she delights in withering a once beautiful rose, turning it into something ugly. Mim loves to partake in games, proclaiming that she’s “…mad about games…” before beginning her enthusiastic game of cat and mouse with Arthur, (beforehand she was playing a game of solitaire). Mim is also an incredibly sore loser, as evidenced when she flies into a tantrum after losing her duel to Merlin.
Like all evil figures, she utterly detests sunshine.
She is cunning and intelligent to some degree, yet reckless, and can be extremely aggressive, if not overly so when competing in one of her many ad hoc games. She has two main prerogatives: 1) Entertaining herself (at whoever’s expense it may be from) and 2) being an antagonist to Merlin. In that order.
RP Sample (Can be made up or from another site, Must be detailed): Jane casually strolled through the forest searching for a specific tree. The island had been only a few miles away from the jungle Jane had inhabited and on the boat no more than 15 minutes or so. A native fruit had grown only on that island and Jane tended to set sail every now and again and pick a few, for special occassions and such. Scanning the surrounding area she watched as a group of baboons swung from tree to tree, unfourtunately there had been no sign of the tree. "Oh bother!" she muttered to herself, continuing through the dense jungle. Jane's eyes widened with delight as she spotted several of the large, blue oval shaped fruit hung in fashionable groups on the palm. Jane dashed for the tree and gave a sudden leap, gripping the tree with her hands and feet. She pushed her legs and began to climb, a neat little trick Tarzan had taught her. Waving the large stick in her right hand she knocked a few down which she cleverly caught in her rucksack. "Delightful!" she grinned. Jane jumped out of the tree and onto a loose vine which she swung on, landing without fault on the ground. Adjusting her homemade skirt and brushing the dirt from her top she skipped towards the beach to sail back home and prepare the special birthday tea for Tarzan. Squinting, Jane noticed two figures not so far away. "Good heavens!" she squealed, running towards them. Jane had thought the island to be deserted, she was wrong..
Why should you have this character?: I'm looking to play a villain and Madame Mim seems the perfect candidate!
Name the other RP sites you have been on: Disney RP's, a few Hogwarts etc.
What should your Title say (The words underneath your name): /
Anything else you need?: I've never watched The Sword and the Stone so apologies if I roleplay as Madam Mim oddly. I'm not really familiar with her but I was eager to roleplay a villain!
