Lumiére (José) couldn't help but smile at his beloved. She knew that he would do anything for her. Besides, she could've been hurt if she visited the Master alone, especially if he was in a bad mood.
"I shall see you all soon, my friends," the candlestick said, turning to go. "Enjoy the tour, mademoiselle!" he said to Belle (Susan) before leaving the group to go to the forbidden West Wing, which only the Master, himself, and Cogsworth (Doppler) had permission to be.

Belle (Susan) looked from the feather-duster to the candlestick to the clock. More and more convinced by the moment that she had dozed off. None of this would normally be happening to her...it didn't seem normal. Something she'd read in her books. She tried to tune out the candlestick's conversation between the clock...Cogsworth? That name had stuck. She soon became enthralled in Cogsworth(Doppler)'s lesson on the tapestry. 16th century, how delightful. It reminded her of....
The memory suddenly left her, for that was not the memories that her character, as it were, should remember.

If Basil were to rescue Queen Susan, he would need help. On his own, he could not possibly battle the...the...
What had he been thinking of? It was maddening, like reaching for something just beyond one's grasp.
Whatever it was, it would require the aid of the villagers, of that Basil was certain. And the place to find them was undoubtedly the local inn or tavern.
It took some little time before the detective could set out. Bad enough to be dressed, for some unknown reason, in 18th-century clothes. But he was wearing two different stockings!
They looked absurd, and Basil spent three-quarters of an hour searching for a matching pair. He finally gave up in frustration and ventured forth, mortified to be dressed in such an idiotic fashion.
But it couldn't be helped. He had a task to perform and he'd best get it over and done with as swiftly as possible.

As the candlestick roamed the hallways to the West Wing, several questions seemed to come to his mind. What was he doing here? To serve the Master, of course. He was also a candlestick instead of his natural form, pa--human.
Lumiére (José) paused at the thoughts answering themselves. His former life seemed to be but a distant memory that he could not quite reach. Curiosity soon consumed the former parrot as he reached the Master's door. Gathering his nerves, he carefully knocked on the door without trying to burn it.

Cogsworth (Doppler) led Belle (Susan) through the many halls of the castle, pointing out and explaining the history of many important historical pieces that, for some reason, he’s swear he’s never seen before. The clock sighed whenever he noticed Fifi (Esme) tagging along, however simply tutted and moved on to another piece. What Lumiére (José) saw in the ostentations girl he had no idea.
“…and as I say, if it’s not baroque, don’t fix it,” finished Cogsworth (Doppler), chuckling at his own joke before moving on. They were rather close to the west wing of the castle now, and the clock felt it was a good idea to keep the visitor out of that particular room in case of incurring the master’s rather formidable wrath.
“This is the west wing,” he explained with a brief gesture in the door’s direction up the staircase, “you shouldn’t ever go in there. It’s quite forbidden.”

After he knocked, Lumiére (José) heard no reply from within. "Hmmm..." He looked at his candle hands. Maybe he should knock louder...?
The candlestick turned around at the sound of Cogsworth (Doppler) telling a joke to his own humor. The tour must be going fast if they're already here, he thought as he hopped down the stairs to join them. "Yes," he said, agreeing with the clock, "strictly forbidden. No place for a delicate lady." The candlelight then gave a smile in Fifi's (Esmeralda's) direction.

Fifi (Esmeralda) noticed that Cogsworth was not happy to have her there on the tour. However, she was determined to join them, as she didn't want the female guest to be alone with Cogsworth. Besides, she hoped to see Lumiére (José) again really soon. She sighed when they reached the West wing, hoping that the Master hadn't been furious with Lumiére.
When Lumiére hopped down the stairs to join them, her tiny face beamed with joy, and she tickled him gently in the face with her featherduster and giggled. Then she looked up at Belle (Susan) and smiled shyly, trying to encourage her a bit.
"Perhaps Mademoiselle is hungry after her journey?" She asked kindly.

Belle (Susan) followed along behind Cogsworth with a look of interest. She listened intently to the history of the pieces. She kept her hands behind her back, an old voice ringing of her ears, a stern, grim voice saying, 'There will be no disturbing of the professor, and no touchin' of the historical artifacts!'
"Why shouldn't I go in the west wing?" she asked Cogsworth, staring into the dark of the wing, trying to see something dangerous. An ever smaller voice, her own, echoed her question. Why shouldn't I go in there? I've been in wars, for heaven's sake, I think I might be able to handle whatever's in there.
But she pushed the thought back, it seemed unlike her, for some reason, though it was something she would say if told not to go into a wardrobe.
The girl's stomach let out a low growl at Fifi's (Esmeralda's) question.
"Actually, I am a little hungry."

The grin on Lumiére's (José's) face widened as he heard this. Finally, a chance for the entire castle to make a good impression on the girl that will save them all. What a wonderful oppertunity!
"Oh, of course!" he said. "Right this way, mademoiselle." The candlestick started to lead the group towards the kitchen and dining area.

Fifi (Esmeralda) smiled shyly to Belle (Susan) and tilted her head. She knew what Lumiére was thinking right now, and she couldn't wait to see the face of their guest when she witnessed it all. Oh, how much she had looked forward to this day!
"Come along, dear!" She said cheerfully to the young girl as she followed Lumiére. "Oh, this will be fun!!! I can tell you, Mademoiselle, you will never have a dinner like this elsewhere."

As the gigantic werewolf like creature stared as hypnotized at the rose, all his memories came back to him.
He turned from the rose in sudden rage, the mere sight of it reminded him too much of the day the curse were sent upon him, capturing him in this dark prison without any hope.
The images he`d had from another life, another place, faded into a mere dream to vague to grasp, as he turned to stare into the horizon through a broken window. Mere wish thinking he snorted to himself, like the thought of ever breaking the spell thrown upon him.
The beast wheezed quietly to himself in protest to the faint knocking on the door. Couldn`t they just leave him alone to rotten in his own personal little nightmare?
He pointed ears as he heard their voiced through the door, a second there he thought he`d faintly heard an unfamiliar voice among them.
