((Okey dokey I can't wait for the Jim/Peter rivalry to begin! xD )) It was like no time had past at all. As if he'd only just left her back at home after they'd defeated Hook. She was still the same Wendy, His Wendy. The same hair, the same eyes, voice, she was even wearing the same nightie! Peter heard her voice shout out his name like she had done so many times before and felt a horrible pang in his chest. It should have been a happy reunion but for some odd reason, Peter was in no mood to smile. He noticed the colour begin to rise in her cheeks after the initial shock of seeing him again and he immediately knew why. He felt so very confused. He was even confused about being confused. What was wrong with him lately? He was always happy! Yet some part of him realised, looking at her now, that the only weakness he ever had was her. The fear of loneliness and abandonment was the one thing that stopped him, and the worst part was that Hook knew, and so did Wendy. But if she did, Peter just couldn't understand why she was giving him, whoever he was, that... That thimble that she had promised would always belong to him! "Who's he?" Demanded Peter with more conviction than he felt. He stared at the boy with a glare on his face yet having no idea why he was doing it. He didn't even know him! Why was he scowling at a boy he didn't even know? Peter was usually friendly to everyone, he just wanted to have fun after all. These thoughts continued to control him, and it wasn't until Wendy's voice began to change and she began to back away that Peter began to take more notice of the newcomers appearance. It was... Changing... It couldn't be!! Peter simply stared at the boy. He was... some kind of skeleton! But that must mean he was dead... "What's going on?" Peter asked them, chancing a half glance at Wendy but not being able to fully tear his eyes away. How was this possible?

Jim clutched his knees, hardly even noticing the youth that had just flown in without any device at all. This must be the famed Peter he had heard about…
Jim winced as Wendy screamed. His thoughts were clouded by the shock and disgust… all he could think was a slap across his face. How could I have been so stupid? he screamed at himself, wringing his hands as he sat like a broken heap on the deck.
I never deserved her. Never. Why didn’t I realize that I was never meant for love? Everyone who’s ever cared for me just walked out of my life… Teague, Silver… my own DAD hated me!
Jim looked forlornly at Wendy, wishing that he could explain, but his voice seemed to be stuck in his ribcage…
She deserves so much better than you. Just look at you – you’re just an idiot without an ounce of foresight, and now you’re barely even human because of it! If you insisted on staying with her, just think of what kind of trouble you’d bring her!
“Wendy, I-“ Jim trailed off, fighting tears that threatened to fall out of his sockets.
You can’t love her. She doesn’t even want you now, you’re nothing but a monster!
“I just-“
Forget her.
Forget her and leave.
Jim shut his eyes, squaring his jaw. As if it was far away, he heard Peter demanding who he was, jealousy ringing in his voice. As far as Jim was concerned, he was nobody. Peter was human, whole… Not like me.
Jim stood up, his eyes cast down. Slowly, he spoke, choosing his words carefully. His appearance was alarming enough; he didn’t need his voice to betray him even more, which was on the verge of sobbing.
“Wendy… I was stupid.” He began, steeling himself for what he was about to do. “Back when Hook stormed the Misty Lady, we all took refuge on an island… but the place held a curse, and now I have it.
“Just… don’t worry about me. Forget me. Go with Peter, he’ll take you back to shore…” Jim gave a pleading look to the spirit of youth.
“Just leave.”

His adventerous, cunning smile was absent... Peter wore a grave expression of animosity... He too wasn't the only dynamic one aboard the Misty Lady.. But had he really witnessed the scene? Did he even have one single inkling of what it really was? She stared at him for a long time... he wasn't the childish, optimistic little boy she read about so much.. Hopefully what he had witnessed wasn't going to create such a reddened scar..
But the glare he shot at a rotted-away Jim Hawkins, he was not pleased... nor was he in the mood to play games... "Oh, Peter... I can explain..." she pleaded with a guilty tone in a now grave voice. She ran to his side before he could even start brandishing his dagger... I've been such a fool for what I've done... Her eyes were stuck on the enraged Peter, still hoping he wouldn't cause a vengeful fray... It was a scene one might expect from just a boy.
But finally, an awkwardly silent Jim plucked up the courage to speak out. Wendy held her breath with anticipation... could all her questions be answered? Why did he look like.. that.. Why was he acting so distant from her?
But Jim spoke at such a prolonging pace.. He looked at her, icy blue eyes still in place, but now they seemed to frighten Wendy rather than appease her... He finally admitted for the foolish mistake they had caused.. "But I was foolish, too.. Oh, but I'm afraid I must take the blame here as well.." she spoke quietly, hoping she'd be able to sooth the guilt in Jim. They were only teenagers - but could this mistake not be venial?
He briefly explained his story, but Wendy was much too concerned for him to even listen.. All she took in was his curse. And then he bluntly casted her away. But so soon? She daresay no! "But.. Jim, I'd very much like to help you.. If there is anything I can do to repay for my rescue.." she pleaded, clasping her hands together with hope. It was a common habit of hers, but usually she only clasped them when she was utterly full of excitement...
But Jim wasn't going to take any objections. He just wanted her to hop off the Misty Lady... "Please..." She edged her feet more forward to Jim, hoping he wouldn't dare to turn back... If there was something she could do that wouldn't make him so fearful for Wendy..

Jim dropped his eyes from Peter, casting them down. He just couldn't look at anyone... especially Wendy.
He had never felt so confused in his life... even more so than when he thought he was responsible for Mr. Arrow's death. And now, with Silver and Teague out of his life... there was no shoulder left to cry on. But I won't cry. Jim thought miserably, preparing to head back to the bunks where no one could see him.
But Wendy insisted that she should stay, begging him to let her repay him for his rescue. Jim closed his eyes, fighting the will to hug her and accept the offer. I can't... She deserves so much more than a monster.
Jim did his best to bottle up the oncoming tears. Every kind word she had for him threatened a fresh stream of tears, and Jim couldn't even feel them trickling down what was left of his cheeks.
Suddenly, something fragile in Jim snapped. His face twisted into a snarl, made even more macabre and feral by his ghostly face.
"Darnnit, Wendy, I DON'T WANT YOU!!"
Jim breathed, even though the need for it had long deserted him. He could hardly believe the words that he had just screamed out of his own mouth...
It's what's best for her, the overpowering, rational voice inside his head told him.
Jim took a step back, watching Wendy's reaction to his words. His blue orbs took a last look at hers, then he made a dash for the bunks, pushing past the stunned crew. He covered his face with his hands as he ran, knowing that the tears would soon be on their way.
Jim yanked open the trapdoor to the hold, tripping down the stairs. It didn't matter... nothing could hurt him now, no matter how much he wished for death right now. Jim crawled into the darkness of the bunks, cowering under his hammock. Away from the moonlight, Jim returned to normal.
But the emotionless skull was replaced by a face so hopeless, confused, and miserable. He curled up into a ball on the floor, lying motionless. Jim waited for the sobs to come, dreading their arrival... But they just didn't seem to come. It was as if the simple message to vent his emotion had been lost in the turmoil inside his mind. All he could do was lay there in the darkness, cursing his stupidity.

((^^Awww!!! *Hugs* I'm sorry for Peter being horrible to you LOL >.<))
Peter turned his head to the floor as Wendy hurried up to him, not wanting to her to see him like this... So... So adult. He almost despised himself for the way he was acting towards her - towards them all. Yet he couldn't deny the unwanted, unjustified feeling that was rising in to his chest and pressing down heavily on his heart. He hadn't felt like this since... Well since the last time Wendy had left Never Land. Leaving him to grow up... Well, if this was growing up...
He did not answer Wendy as she spoke, not knowing what to say or how to say it, afraid that she would look in to his eyes and see the truth. He would never speak of his feelings, as much as she had always wanted him to. Didn't she understand that he was only a boy? Boy's never had such emotions. He just wanted to be young and free forever, to have fun without the stupid responsibilities that happened when you became a man. What more is there? What more could there be?
At last Jim spoke. His voice was full of pain but Peter did not comment on it, he hardly understood what was going on. Who was this guy, anyway? Why had Wendy given him a thimble? Surely he wasn't as wonderful as Peter! Is this who she had been with all this time? This.... Jim or John or whoever he was. As the boy finished speaking, Peter pulled himself up to full height, his head high and proud.
"If you wish it," he replied at last, as Jim spoke of flying Wendy to safety. He steadied his voice as much as he could but still no smile rose to his lips. It was like Wendy leaving him all over again even though she was stood right beside him. However, when Jim began to shout, Peter felt his own protective instincts kick in.
"Oi - don't talk to her like that, pal!" He shot at Jim angrily, pointing a finger warningly and taking a few paces toward him. But before he could do anything else, the cursed boy had ran off, his hands over his face and knocking over passers by as he went. This just left Wendy and Peter alone for the first time.

If there was something she could do to help.. why should he continue to detatch away from her? The curse had to be reversible. He wasn't born with it - that night at Epcot, he was perfectly normal. Albeit, his behavior was another case, he was still a boy.. Was he going to shun himself away from the crew as well?
"Darnnit, Wendy, I DON'T WANT YOU!!" And he stormed off.
His yelling whisped a painful, cold sensation in the atmosphere. Wendy felt herself froze. She didn't move when he screamed so angrily - she had never seen him so.. aggravated before, particularly for a young teenager like him. Peter.. had he ever been so furious with these kinds of.. feelings.. The angriest he ever felt was when it came to the old codfish.. Feelings... they could not summarize such a silly boy like Peter.. But would Peter ever react like Jim? So confused and mixed with anger for the better?
Wendy wasn't going to cry - but she stood there for a mere few minutes in silence, with an angered Peter right behind her. "Don't be so childish Peter, however would you know how he feels?..." she mumbled under her breath with contempt.
She slowly walked to his side with little motion. "Peter.. we will come back. I certainly must. But for the time being, I must think about what has just happened tonight... Will you take me back to the resort?" She had since lost her ability to fly.. Tinkerbell was no where to be seen. Peter could always use his handy arms to carry her from place to place..

Peter stood very still as there was a harsh silence between them. It wasn't supposed to be like this, awkwardness between the two of them was not something Peter had had on the cards. What was wrong with him? Maybe I'm just having an off day he thought, yet knowing that this was impossible. He was Peter Pan after all - he never got off days! At last Wendy spoke, yet more as a mutter to herself than to anyone else and Peter didn't need to strain his ears to hear what she said. Why - he couldn't believe it - she was telling him off! The first words she says after all this time and it's to tell me off for being childish!"Aw, Wendy, is that all you have to say?" He asked with an abrupt turn to his usual manner, lifting off the ground and landing lightly on her other side, "Everyone else thinks I'm wonderful!" As he landed lightly to the ground again, he moved his hand to the top of his head - a typical habit of Peter's when he felt a particular emotion. He looked at her furtively for a moment as she moved towards him. As Wendy spoke of Peter being her guide back to the resort, Peter felt a stab of rejection. She obviously only saw him as some kind of transportation. This Jim was all that mattered to her now. She had forgotten his stories. She had forgotten him. He was... Unloved. Just as Hook had always told him. When he spoke however, he spoke with calmness. "If you wish it," he said again, just as he had done moment's before to Jim. He automatically looked around for Tink before realising that she was absent from this particular adventure. Hesitating for a moment, Peter lightly slid his arm around her waist, taking her hand in his as he lifted her off the ground. "Ya know, Wendy, ya haven't changed a bit," he said to her, unable to uphold a slight smile as he lifted them off the ground and off up in to the sky. ((Sure! Where would you like us to go next?))

After he recited those words... Wendy felt a pain of jealousy. He was bringing up Tiger Lily. That filthy squaw... She resisted the urge to clench her teeth with fury for that wicked princess. Wendy had befriended well-mannered ones during her stay. Her whole tribe were nothing but cannibals who dared to burn the boys to the stake. And Wendy, if she were to return to Neverland again, did not want to cause a scene in front of them. "Peter, I don't want to play games now," she told him in a stern, grave tone. It was probably too 'adult' for him to reconsider.
She was quite assured as if spoke in a helpful, agreeable tone. Not the excited, playful tone he had when he was seeking an adventure. They'd have to postpone that for now... or never.
The immortal boy lifted her off the ground, and off to the sky they went. She really could not help but sigh with relief to be carried around. But she couldn't smile at the thought of it.. She gazed down at the mellowed down Mist Lady.. Jim was there somewhere. And Wendy was going to return.. one day.. when she was ready.
"Not changed?" she reiterated with a raised eyebrow. Was she still the same Wendy Darling that refused to grow up? Sure, it was not long since they had last met, and Wendy was still at age twelve.. Still, in the short span of these months she certainly felt she had.. grown up a bit. The resort itself, however, with all its festivities and dream come trues.. Wendy couldn't help but smile like the ignorant little girl she was in London. But the resort was plagued with danger.. but they did contribute to her becoming of a teenager. She immediately thought of Jim again.. she truly felt grown up when she was with him. But with Peter.. it was still just as definable. Just a child secretly loving someone from a distance..
[How about Fantasyland??]

"Who's playing games?" retorted Peter casually, noticing her stern tone. What was wrong with her? She was being so.. boring and grown up! Where was the excitement, the stories, the wonder, the... Wendy did not speak for quite some time while they flew across the park and it was a few moments before she replied to Peter. "Well... You've changed a bit," he replied, thinking of the playfulness that seemed to have been zapped out of her. "It hasn't been that long, has it? Well - I suppose you didn't realise how long it was..." he trailed away, silently scolding himself for trying to purposely annoy her. Why was he feeling so... Urgh! He couldn't help feeling that she had done something wrong by him, like some kind of strange betrayal. That thimble had belonged to him, and only him. Wendy had said it herself, and yet there she was giving it to just anyone! Did she only say that to spare his feelings? So he'd be able to defeat Hook and save the day? Why did Jim deserve it? What was so special about him? "Wanna have a bit of fun?" He added quickly, hoping to cover up his previous comment and trying to ignore his unwanted and unjustified feelings. ((Okey dokey. Do ya wanna start it or should I?))
