Pretty in purple: enter Yzma (open)

[Yzma]

A most peculiar woman strolled along the street.
Her attire was mostly purple, which matched her light purple skin.
On the top, a huge feather waved above her head.

Yzma grumbled grumpily at the little group of kids following her. What on earth were those brats doing here anyways?
Some lousy teenager were walking in front of her, skinning a banana.
The former empress cursed loudly as she slipped on the skin, he carelessly threw over his shoulder.
This was the SECOND time this day!

This was obviously NOT her day..

Gadget was kind of lost. She wandered through the Downtown Square, not sure how she got there, or how to get back to the park.

A little ahead of her was the oldest woman the mouse had ever seen. Or at least, she looked really, really old. But she dressed pretty snazzy for an old lady.

Suddenly, the woman slipped on a banana peel and came crashing to the pavement. A fall like that could seriously hurt an old lady!

Gadget rushed over, unsure how to help, but willing. "Are you okay? Did you break a hip?"

[Yzma]

Yzma grumbled as she got to her feet, imagining the teenager before her getting hit by something big..

She turned her head as she noticed the tiny voice beside her, and spotted.. a mouse in clothes?

She blinked, eeh.. i am.. all right. A mouse that talked? If she didn`t know any better Yzma would`ve thought it had ran into one of her potions, But that wasn`t possible.
Yzma`s mind clicked on place. Off course, she had a fellow potion maker somewhere around.
Well whatever the source was she had to find it she thought. It could be pretty useful in her plan.
She smiled, what she thought to be a in a friendly way.
Hello there, Miss.. mouse.?

[Pintel & Ragetti]

"I love this place Pintel!" Ragetti exclaimed as he walked down the streets of Downtown Disney. "It's 'as t' be one of the better ports we've ever been to, don' ya think?"

"What's t' like? There are too many lights, too many people." Pintel whined. "I'd rather be back on th' ship, drinkin' rum an' searchin' fo' treasure. This place 'as too many odd people for my tastes."

"What's strange an' odd is in th' eye of th' beholder ya know." Ragetti reminded him.

Pintel huffed. "Good it isn't in th' eyes of th' beholder cuz then you'd be outta luck."

Ragetti furrowed his brow, annoyed at Pintel's comment, when he suddenly saw an old woman fall. "Didya see tha'? She might be hurt." He paused. "Is tha' a mouse she's talkin' too?"

Pintel slapped his forehead with the palm of his head. "Oh no, not this bloody mess again..."

Ragetti's eyes widened at the realization. "It is a talkin' mouse! C'mon Pintel!" Ragetti grabbed Pintel's arm and ran up to the woman and mouse. " 'Ello there!" He said to the woman. "I'm Ragetti, that's Pintel--" He glanced down at the mouse, eyes wide with excitement. "An' you're a TALKIN MOUSE!"

Pintel rolled his eyes and yanked his arm out of Ragetti's grip. "Don' mind him, miss." He said cutting his eyes at Ragetti. Realizing he might be here for a while he looked at the woman and asked, as an after thought. "You a'right? Banana peels can be more dangerous than a cutlass on some of these lands."

[Gadget]

The old lady didn't seem to be hurt. She even smiled at Gadget. "I'm glad you're okay. Can you stand up? Do you need a wheelchair?"

She was the oldest person Gadget had ever seen. In fact, she looked old enough to keel over any minute. Even if she was wearing an evening gown.

An' you're a TALKIN MOUSE

Gadget glanced up at the pair who had just arrived.

"Yep. My name's Gadget. And you're a pirate." She smiled at the grungy sailor. Nothing like stating the obvious...

[Yzma]

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA brilliant gadget;D )

Yzma`s eye twitched. WHEELCHAIR?!
Let`s see who need a wheelchair here.. Yzma raged mentally.
However, she restrained herself, as she spotted a couple of shaggy pirates approaching. Going berserk in public might not favour her goal, to become empress very well.

Instead she quickly changed her gritting of teeth into what she hoped to be a friendly smile. Nice to meet all three of you. I am Yzma, the empress of Peru.
Again this little twist of truth.

[Gadget]

"Golly, you're still ruling a country at your age?" asked Gadget, innocently unaware that she was being less than flattering to Yzma.

To the pirates she added, "Why don't you two help this poor lady up?" Being a mouse, she couldn't really do it herself.

"Can we get you something? Tea? Warm milk?"

[Yzma]

(*rolling on floor* oh.. my.. this is too hilarious XDDD ;D )

Yzma again gritted her teeth as the mouse pointed out her age so obviously.
She looked down at gadget, like she was something dirty under her shoe, as she raised to her full height.
Thank you SO much for the offering, but i`m fully capable of helping myself, she spoke with a hint of annoyance.

She opened her mouth to give a harsh reply, as gadget offered to get her something.
However, she stopped herself, and smiled angelic.

Perfect!
Then she would be rid of that annoyance, brilliant!

Since you mention it, a cup of tea sounds excellent, she spoke sweetly, waiting for gadget`s response.

Oh, good! The poor old lady wanted some tea. Gadget was so glad to be able to do something helpful.

"Sure, I'll get it for you. Lemon or milk? Sugar or artificial sweetener? Regular or decaf? Large or small? Or medium?"

(Hugs gadget* i love you ... but Yzma don`t XD)

That mouse was REALLY trying her patience now.
Yzma rolled her eyes as she attempted to restrain herself from stepping on the small creature.
That only lasted a small moment though, in the next her mask of false friendliness were back in place.
Why don`t you surprise me? I love surprises, she replied, feeling her smile to be a bit stiff.

[Gadget]

Innocent, trusting Gadget had no idea Yzma was only putting up with her, pretending to be nice for reasons of her own.

"Okay. Be right back."

She dashed away to get some tea and, hopefully, make it surprising.

She was back before long, puffing as she carried a styrofoam cup.

"Here you go. Hope you like it."

The castmember at the refreshment stand had looked at Gadget kind of funny when she asked for a tea with sugar and artificial sweetener and milk and lemon.

"Do you have any chocolate syrup?" asked the mouse. She was glad to get not only chocolate syrup for Yzma's tea, but butterscotch, too.

"When I told them it was for you, they gave me the senior citizen discount."

[Yzma]

( HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA *rolls on floor howling with laughter)

Yzma watched the back of the mouse as it disappeared into a cafe.
Finally, she smirked.
He turned to the two shaggy pirates, will you tell miss gadget i just remembered a really important appointment? empress business. Stupid me i forgot it totally. She smiled innocent, as she facepalmed herself for her "forgetfulness"
Well.. toodeloo.

She turned to walk away, but suddenly stopped dead in tracks.
Her eyes widened in horror.. Oh.. no..!

LOOK GUYS, IT`S YZMA!!
A large group of kids had just spotted her, and came running towards her, squealing eagerly.
Yzma rolled her eyes as they surrounded her, pulling her dress and asked for autographs.

NOW, GET AWAY!
the former empress yelled, her face turning to a reddish shade of purple, out of anger.
To make it even better, she spotted the mouse on her way back.

She took the cup from her with a irritated scowl, composing herself till she heard Gadget`s last comment.
Now, she`d had it. Definitely.
Her face turned to the strange shade of red again, as she picked up the mouse bu her tail.
Now give me a minute and we`ll see who`s senior.
A variety of ideas to what to do to the mouse crossed her mind, after all, she still had her potions..

[Gadget]

"Hey! Wait a second!" yelled the mouse. Picking somebody up by the tail without asking first was awfully rude.

And something about the way Yzma did it made Gadget uneasy. Was she mad about something?

Gadget had tried so hard to be nice that, try as she might, she couldn't figure out what had made Yzma so cranky.

"You better put me down right now!"

[Quasimodo]

( maybe someone wants to save the mouse from getting drowned in tea.? Trust me.. i read her mind like an open book. *nods* ;D )
