Haku the Kohaku River Spirit
Haku:
Movie(s) your character is in: Spirited Away
Character's Personality: Since Haku is mainly a spirit in the form of a young boy, I would suppose that the he is a representative of his river. Haku is a very reclusive and swift pace person and rather mysterious. Along with being mysterious his flat nature, almost emotionless behavior and moderately dark words and senses he tends to have a sense of humor with the ones that he loves, cares for, and befriends strongly. Despite that fact, he can say things that can manipulate the outcome of certain events that could have possible gone wrong. Often argued as good or evil, Haku still can be a caring soul.
Character's History:
As a young spirit Kohaku found his true form to be a dragon. As time moved on he became accustom to his solitary life. He was neither mentally disable or socially disable from this solitude for he some how knew that he wasn't supposed to 'mingle' amongst others. He just didn't have what it took to be socially noticed. Haku was a single soul; alone but strong. Brave but gentle. Manipulative but true. This dragon was the Spirit of the Kohaku River. He lived in quiet happiness and peace along with his river, but later witnessed a young girl, about the age of four, fall into his river. Slowly and subtly, he helped her out of the river and back to safety, but he continued to question himself for the many years of whom this girl was.
Some years later, he was captured by Yubaba, who took his name and made him her personal assistant. After the tale of Spirited Away Haku finally regained his freedom and returned to his river, but instead of being addressed as Kohaku, for the name Haku has stuck to him for so many years, he rather grew attached to it. He always remembered Chihiro, and how he and the journey she had taken, changed him as well.
Just as he thought of her one day he saw her return to his river's bank and she knew that he would be here, either in spirit or dragon she knew he would be there. For a long time Haku had admired Chihiro from afar, but never had the heart to say so, nor could he let his emotions overtake him since that is his nature to hid emotion.
Haku enjoys trips around the mountains, beyond the running train near the bathhouse and amongst the trees of the forest; helping someone without them knowing who it was that helped them and the water: it always was calming and reminded him of the pleasant memories that he had at the bathhouse despite his captivity.
Character's Dislikes:
Haku doesn't necessarily enjoy being told what to do constantly despite the fact of his acknowledgment of what his purpose and job was; captivity with limits; and ignorance.
Roleplay
Haku flew down from the sky gracefully as he saw the rain slowly and somberly falling. He tended to hold morose feeling in the pit of his stomach when he saw rain. For some reason now, rain reminded him of Chihiro. Despite his small admiration he found his mind to be a bit overly obsessive. A habit of Haku's was to over dramatize his thoughts and feelings. He could only remind himself that he was keeping his habits high spirits.
He could only ask himself why he was missing her so terrible. ...If you turn around the spell will be destroyed? He asked himself what was he thinking at the time. He was a bit angry at himself, but it's the past, he should let it go. He knew he couldn't bare to see her again after he had to let her go again. Somehow he would leave such thought behind.
Just he arrived the rain began to die down until it was only humid air that settled around him. Ironically, just as his thoughts cleared of her he saw her. There, just around the corner. He remembered her differently or had she changed, but non the less she was still the same girl he knew. Little did he know that the same girl that he knew had someone with her.
She was accompanied by a boyfriend. His heart was rather crushed, but Haku felt only slightly numb to not care anymore. It was beyond his control. Besides, he wasn't supposed to admire such a soul. He was far too responsible for admiration, far to diligent with his thoughts to spend them on keep sakes and memories. Or were these thoughts numb?
This thought could only make him laugh at himself; his unchanging mind always confusing his heart. It was tired and didn't know where to turn. It's been so long that Haku has been to the real world; beyond the boundaries of the bathhouse. Right after being released, he went to his river. He thought of her hours oh end. Just now he reminded himself that he had no right to think so numbly and low of himself, her or anyone else. It's just that Haku hasn't been himself lately. Haku hasn't been himself in the eight years. Of all the moments in his life, these were the moments that he would be the most unlike himself.

It's very interesting. It just takes me a while to understand how to run around a forum. After a few visits I'll become accustom to this community's layout.Anything you need us to know or any questions?
