hello and welcome to the first day of the rest of your life. nutsty, isn't it?
regardless of what you've done, you've landed yoursel here--in the most repented mental institution in ireland. the name is anstruther...but the kids that are sent here call it 'the rock'. yeah, just like alcatraz.
so maybe you're more lucky than most, if you're here. most wouldn't think so.
things have been fixed, and the staff might all be new, but the feeling is still the same. the institution has broken up into gangs based on their personalities, disorders, but mostly...their crimes. yes, every single kid here has been involved in a crime, some more severe than others. the age range is anywhere from fifteen to twenty-two--crazy right? this is prison under the guise of rehab.
