When Aslan spoke, Pocahontas was remined again of Kovu, from his power and gentle heart. The golden lion was a good friend and a powerful ally. The indian princess was glad to have met him.
Maid Marian invited them to her wedding and asked Pocahontas to be her maid of honor. Although she was not familiar with "modern" weddings, she knew that this was an honor beyond all others.
"I am honored more than you know, Maid Marian," she told the fox. "I only wish I can live up to your expectations. Would it be possible for me to bring my fiance, Kenai, to the wedding?"

Maid Marian smiled and looked at Aslan. She liked the lion. He seemed strong and noble, just like her uncle Richard. Uncle Richard too was strong had had a gentle heart.
Then she turned to Pocahontas. She liked this indian Princess already, and was certain they would be great friends. Her mild, dark brown eyes glittered with joy when Pocahontas asked if she could bring her fiance along.
"Well of course you may bring him. I would be honored to meet him. I will arrange a pre-wedding tea so my uncle Richard can meet some of my guests before the wedding. I would be honored if you both could join the tea party. This to get to know the other maid of honor, the best man, and of course my uncle Richard. Not to forget my fiance, Robin Hood."
She smiled to Pocahontas and added.
"It is an honor for me to have such a beautiful woman as my maid of honor. I am certain you will be a success at the wedding."
