Pocahontas looked around her in awe. This was the most beautiful forest she had ever been in. The trees were bright and tall, the leaves dancing in the changing lights. The grass was soft under her bare feet, reminding her of home.
She wondered where she was and what creatures lived here. She hoped they were all friendly.

(sorry it took so long *is in shame* )
Aslan walked through a very realistic version of Narnia. Though it wasn't it, not exactly. There was a gateway close at hand here, and it seemed to effect the area around him. The Great Lion smiled as the trees started to shift around him. With his presence they awoke, even in such a place. The leaves shifted into a huminod shape, dancing around the great king of Narnia. Aslan could only smile, it was good to see this place. It was as good as being home himself.
Suddenly, the leaves stopped and retreated into their respective trees. There was a human nearby, they were frightened. But Aslan could only see a child who had wandered to a magic land, like Lucy had. Aslan smiled kindly at the girl, "Good Evening." He stated, his deep voice full of wisdom and nobility.

Pocahontas felt that she was not alone and slowed her steps. She could hear that it was a large animal by the sound of its gait. She turned at the sound of the deep voice.
A magnificent lion stood there. If she had not been used to Kovu, the indian would have been more cautious. But even when compared to Kovu, Pocahontas knew that this was a very powerful lion.
"Good evening," she repeated politely. "I apologize if I have stumbled upon your home. I am Pocahontas, wingapo. Who might you be?"

Aslan's wise eyes looked over the Indian girl, listening to her polite words. "I am Aslan." He said, bowing his head at her greeting. He looked at the trees, knowing now that they would not dance with a human so close at hand. "This is but a reflection of my home. The true Narnia is but a few paces away." The portal was not far from here, as it should be. The great king turned his eyes back to the girl.
He was just about to ask if her home was close at hand, when petals from one of the younger trees passed through the air. It was curious. The pink petals danced around the Indian's hair, before retreating to Aslan's side. It formed into a humanoid, looking to Aslan, then to Pochahontas unsure. The great lion nodded reasuringly, "It's alright." he soothed with a smile. The humanoid disolved and disappeared, but now whispers could be heard in the forest. "They are afraid of humans, I fear." Aslan said to the Indian, a sad look on his magestic face.

Pochantas smiled at Aslan. He was so amazing and yet she had barely known him.
"You live in Narnia?" she said excitedly. "Do you know Queen Susan? She lives there as well."
Suddenly the wind began to move, causing the petals of flowers to dance and blow about. Pocahontas closed her eyes, savoring the feeling. She opened her eyes and saw a person standing beside the lion, yet this person was made of flower petals. The lion could speak to it and it seemed to understand.
Pocahontas could sense the lion's sorrow when he explained that the dyiads were afraid of humans. "They needn't be afraid of me," she told him, hoping that the trees were listening as well. "I would never hurt them. I have a friend back home who is a tree spirit, an elder, Grandmother Willow. I always used to talk with her when I was lonely."

(Sure!)
"I do, she ruled with her two brothers and sisters many years ago." He smiled foundly as he thought of the four. He missed them, but they needed to grow up without the influence of Narnia. In their own realm, with their own family. He turned his attention back to the Indian, who was explaining to him about Mother Willow. He smiled at this, happy to know that not all the race of men had such disrespect for the trees.
"I know dear one, but that itself does not take away the fear. The humans of this realm have no idea of the spirits within the trees. In this world, they retreat far within themselves." He watched as the trees started to sing to one-another, using wind, "Hopefully that will change one day." He smiled, his great eyes holding widsom and kindness in their depths.
"You are from this world?" It was a polite question, but one he had an idea of. She was probably from this world, but like the Pevenise's, another time.

((Thank you both *Tackleglomps* I love you guys! ))
Maid Marian and Lady Cluck were walking though a beautiful forest that reminded them of the Sherwood Forest. Maid Marian lifted her long skirts a bit when she was walking, to avoid her long skirts getting trapped in the bushes. Lady Cluck walked beside her, and the two ladies were laughing and joking with one another.
They stopped between the green trees to enjoy the nature, when they suddenly discovered a huge, majestetic lion, and a beautiful Indian Princess nearby. Maid Marian, who missed her uncle, King Richard Lionheart, went closer to the two of them, and stopped between the branches, afraid to disturb their peaceful conversation.

Pocahontas was disappointed by Aslan's words, true though they may have been. She had once known a man that had thought her people savage and she had changed his mind . . . and his heart.
"I know you are right," she said quietly, trying desperately to get thoughts of John Smith out of her mind. "But people can change if they are taught properly. It only takes time."
"Yes, I am from this world, at least I suppose I am. My people are not from this time but from the birth of this country. I lived with my father in the Tidewater region, near Jamestown. My father is the chief of my people, the Powhatans."
The indian was distracted as she spotted some visitors. It was a fox and chicken, but they walked upright and were dressed in human clothes. Pocahontas had seen many strange things in the place so she was stunned only momentarily.
"Hello there," she called to them. "Who might you be?"

Maid Marian and Lady Cluck came closer and looked around. They were both walking on two legs. Maid Marian was wearing an elegant princess dress in pink and lilac, and exclusive jewelry around her neck. A pink sheer veil in an exquisite material was covering her hair. This was a fashion for most maidens from the 12th century. Lady Cluck was dressed in a light blue gown, also very elegant, but she was of a more sturdy type than the slender and elegant vixen.
Maid Marian's beautiful dark brown eyes under long, dark eyelashes darted across the forest, and for one moment she looked directly at Pocahontas and Aslan and smiled, before turning to Lady Cluck.
"The lion looks like Uncle Richard, and the woman looks like a princess," she smiled.
Lady Cluck smiled and turned to Pocahontas and Aslan, smiling warmly and making a deep curtsey.
"This is Maid Marian, the niece of King Richard the Lionhearted of England. Milady is wondering, Sire, if you are related to him? I am Lady Cluck, Maid Marian's Lady-in-waiting. It is a great honor to meet you both."
Maid Marian too made a deep curtsey, like she had learned when she was sent to the Royal Courts of England and France.

Aslan nodded, showing to Pochahontas that he understood. She was like the Pevensie's then, and the ancestors of the Temalarians. He was just about to tell her that, when he heard that they were no longer alone. He looked to the side, watching as two others joined them in the forest. He smiled kindly, his noble eyes watching as they made their introductions. He shook his great head at Lady Cluck's question.
"I am sorry, but that would be impossible. I live far away from this world, and I know I have no other relatives. My name is Aslan." He nodded his head toward the Maid Marian and Lady Cluck. It was true, as he did not have any other siblings or kin.

Pocahontas smiled as the chicken introduced them. So the fox was royalty as well, and from England no less!
"A great honor indeed," she said, bowing to them as well. "I am Pocahontas, daughter of the Powhatan chief. Wingapo," she offered them the traditional greeting of her people. "What brings you to this place?

Maid Marian lifted her head and studied the faces of her two newfound friends. Her beautiful dark brown eyes were glittering under long, dark eyelashes, and the sheer pink veil on her head was floating in the gentle summer breeze.
"It is an honor to meet you both," she said, in her soft melodic voice. "I hope we will be great friends. Lady Cluck and I have recently arrived to this new world, and know very few people here."
By Pocahontas' question she blushed and lowered her head a little, but there was a soft smile on her face as she continued.
"I came here to seek for my childhood sweetheart. His name is Robin Hood. My father are planning to give me away to Prince John, but I can't stand the thought of getting married to him. I came here to find Robin and ask for his help. Luckily, I found Robin, and he proposed to me. Now I hope that we will get married before Prince John finds out about my father's plans, or that I am here in this country."
Lady Cluck patted the young vixen's tiny hand gently.
"Don't you worry dear, every thing will be alright. Just you wait until King Richard returns from his great crusade."

Pocahontas was beginning to like these strangers. Aslan was very noble and wise. He reminded her of the old medicineman Kekata, who had helped look after her since she was a child.
Maid Marian was very quiet and demure, whereas Lady Cluck was outgoing and energetic. Marian confessed that she had come here to look for her love and escaping an arranged marriage.
"Well congradulations on your marriage, Maid Marian," she said. "I am glad that you were not forced into a marriage with a man that you did love. I was in that situation once myself, but now I am very happy with my husband."
She showed the fox the ring on her finger that Kenai had given her.
"What about you Aslan?" she asked, turning to the lion. "Do you have a mate?"

Aslan growled slightly at the mention of Prince John's name. How many would this cub try and marry? This was disgraceful actions for a lion of noble family! "I can assure you, dear heart, that Prince John is no friend of mine. He is a cub playing in an ennemy lion's pride lands. He will soon learn what kind of mistake that is." The rumbling stopped, to assure that he was not angry at them.
He turned and chuckled, the mood lightening with the Indian's question, "No, I am afraid not. I have yet to be bestowed with such a gift." He bowed his great head, "And a gift it is! Cherish it always, both of you!"

Maid Marian smiled and looked over at Pocahontas and Aslan. She was impressed over how the lion could growl, much louder than her father and Uncle John. Uncle Richard would definitely like to meet this lion. She blushed and looked shyly over at them.
"Even if I carry the misfortune of being Prince John's niece, I must confess he is not my friend either. My fiancé Robin Hood is his worst enemy. If you need I disagreeistance in your fight against Prince John, I will help you any way I can. And so will Lady Cluck."
She cleared her throat, and smiled.
"I know we have just met, but already I feel I am among friends. Would you, King Aslan, and you, Princess Pocahontas, do me the honor of attending to my wedding as my guests? I would love for the Princess Pocahontas to be my Maid of Honor."
