save our city
across the room, beyond the pane
The world around you isn't burning, not literally. But it might as well be. A constant pollution hangs in the air, making it look perpetually dingy. Garbage rolls lazily across the streets, a mockery of an old western film. The scent of rot and ozone clings to your nostrils and no matter how much you try to ignore it, it's still there. It's always there. Everything is - the gray skies, the sounds of unearthly quiet or a newly broken riot. This is the world you live in. The world you try to live in.
long live king simius
He's a fictitious character, you know. Not real. Completely fake. Except for the man behind the name - oh yes, he's real. And this man could be anyone. He could be your next door neighbor, your husband, your father. He could be you. But whoever he is, he's not on your side. Because he wants you thoroughly d**ned. Every move he makes is to further rip what is left of this world apart. He wants war, he wants death, he wants sin. And he will stop at nothing to bring Hell to your doorstep.
it's time now to rise and fight
Perhaps you've met a person whom you thought was rather good. They helped you when you needed it, they protected you from being mugged or worse. Or perhaps they merely swooped in and saved you from making the one decision that would land you in Hell. You probably thought of that person as a saint. A good Samaritan, so to speak. And you would be right. The S.A.I.N.T.S. work very hard day in and day out to save the lives and souls of mortals. They protect the weak, defend the innocent, and all the rest of those 'good guy' requirements.
we rise and march once more
You've seen them in horror films - demons. Sometimes they look like ferocious beasts, deformed with horns curling above their crowns. And sometimes they look just like you. Human, frail, weak. Sometimes you think you can trust them. Sometimes you think they're your friend. They aren't. They starve for you soul and they will employ any means necessary to knock you down to their level. They will seduce and tempt, torture and deprave. And in the end all that really stands between you and that proverbial hand basket is a choice. Your choice.
there's a time to pray
You're in your darkest moment, broken and battered by the evils of the world. You're standing on a ledge and tipping the wrong way. And suddenly you hear the soft whisper of wings, like a song you've known all your life, but can't quite place. And then the silvery voice fills your senses and pleads for you to continue, to fight. To live. It whispers words of joy and of strength. And you feel alright. Not good, but alright. That's when you know you've got friends in high places.
through the rapture of this world
The world is ending, there's no doubt about that. Historians have predicted it for ages, prophets have spoken of the fires of Hell for a millenia. And now that the end is coming, you have a choice. You have the choice. When it all comes down to it, you can help or you can hinder, fight or flee, tempt or encourage. You can be good or you can be evil. And of all the things that people have ever strived for, ever desired, only one thing matters now. Your soul.
