Long Ago...
"When the comet came down, it was like.. heaven sent us a message. About 20 years later, we've got a superhero.. and it's about d**n time..." Those could have been the very words when they left Mrs. Morris's lips while she thought back on when Superman first came. This happened just after her daughter's first encounter with the younger version a year before the story takes place.
Everyone knows the story..
Superman fell for Lois Lane.. but who the hell was superman in real life. To actually fall in love, you have to know the person right? Well apparently, Superman knows a lot more about Lois then he could possibly learn in a few hours.. Well then everyone claims that he was just.. superhuman..
No.. the word was.. Alien...
Kendall Morris had a feeling though, that it couldn't be like that. So, she did a little research.. Thought this searching, she discoved that Lois worked with a man named Clark Kent. The man didn't draw a lot of attention to himself, but he did, however, look alot like the guy named superman..
She also learned that Lois had a son named Jason..
Nothing in that seemed to appear unusual. Anyone could have a son, and EVERYONE loved superman. Nothing strange about that at all. In fact, through her blind love of the story, she skipped one very important thing.
Jason was superman's son...
Lois knows.. Jason Knows.. Clark and Superman know..
Is it time for society to know?
A hero was born...
Jason found it hard to beleive that his father was Superman. Naturally, he found that scary as well, because now he had his father's powers, and the world no longer depended on Clark Kent.. but more on him. It scared him to learn that from his father as the suit was handed over. The material was outdated.. but strong. It needed a new twist. When Jason found Jeremy, it seemed a light was turned on. Jeremy had become a new aquantence of the old Superman, and was told that a son of his existed.
It was like fate when the two finally met.
Jeremy had always been good with suits.. outfits.. So he made a new one.. brighter.. more durable.. Impossible to destroy. Jason was thankful, and asked Jeremy for furthur help in extending his knowledge of his powers. Over the next year, Jason became a senior, and took on the tasks of saving the world from havoc.
That's when the enemies came from the woodwork of his once normal life. He met a few people who weren't so fond of him, some that even had the access to get on his bad side, and gain the upper hand. When articles began on the subject of Superman once more, the city of New York rejoyced. Some of these articles came from a young woman named Kendall, who refused to give a last name in fear of being found and hurt over superman...
They'd give anything for a decent hostage it seemed.
She'd met the new superman on a few occasions, and found herself much like Lois Lane in the modern world... googly eyed over the handsome hunk with super strength and a soft voice. She became the target of guys at school who wanted to be her generic superman, and the envy of the girls who wanted to be in his arms themselves. The night she kissed superman will forever be engraved into her mind..
Few can be trusted.. Love can be broken.. Life can be destroyed..
Can Jason keep the light on as superman, living up to the title?
