In a dark ancient time there lived the gods on Olympus,who looked down upon the mortals who went about they're daily lives thinking everything was so simple.But the truth was that the gods at least most of them despised the mortals and often caused trouble for them,anything from a simple strike of lightning to making crops go bad or flaring up wars all over the place.The people would often pray to them,offer them things but nothing seemed to satisfy the gods for ill winds kept banging against them.
Each day they live in fear,but what can mere mortals do against powerful beings.And ever since Pandora unleashed sickness and other wicked things upon the lands,things have been in more turmoil.But hope still remains about the people,heroes have risen and fallen and new ones are born each day to take on the dangers.It is said that rulers in many of the bigger cities are related to the gods,most don't care.........most hide in fear.
Even now warlords,thieves......pirates go about burning helpless villages said to be led by the God Ares with no remorse.Some people have even been brought foreward to the gods of Olympus has offerings to be slaves,never again to see freedom.So will you rise up and be a hero that fights against the gods and all the ill things that plague the lands,or are you just another item in Pandora's Box.
