Pulling himself up into the trees branches and abandoning his long dark purple cloak on the floor beneath him, The Beast, his claws carving groves into the bark, came to a stop on one of the lower, sturdier and more broader branches. He was bored, very bored. So far this place had manged to irritate him at every turn and he was beginning to grow tired of it. Not that it took much to irritate him, he was just generally an irritable creature.
In a bid to escape the noise of the main Disney Parks, he'd found himself wondering through numerous trees trying to find somewhere to rest when he'd come across this huge tree. The strange array of creatures around him where starting to give him a headache and he was in no mood to talk to Lumiere so he'd been wandering for a while.
Relived to have found somewhere empty enough to hide in, he dropped down onto all fours and with the agility of a cat, stretched his weight evenly across the bough and lowered himself down onto his stomach, a great furry mass lying in a tree, his legs covered with a pair of torn black breeches and the rest of his body bare as he cooled down in the shadows.
He began to wonder how long he'd be allowed this peace before some creature disrupted him.

Pooh was humming thoughtfully as he wandered through the forest, he’d been gathering hunny for his hunny pot and was happily excited to return back to Maid Marian and Lady Cluck’s house when he stopped short and turned slowly.
“Oh my goodness,” he whispered looking at the strange creature inside the tree. “Why it doesn’t look like a heffalump or woozle.” He moved forward without caution and peaked further inside the tree.
“Hello?” he whispered and then swallowed a little. “Oh I do hope it has a friendly hello.”
(OOC: Hope you dont mind meeting Pooh, sorry it's a little short!)

((hee hee not at all darlin' , I think Pooh will be one of the only ones who dosent annoy Beasty!))
"hmm?" Opening one lazy eye, The Beast found himself staring into a pair of coal black eyes. He'd been there five minutes and already some starnge little creature had found him. Grunting and lifting his huge head up slowly, so as to get a better look at whom the eyes belonged to, Beast was suprised to find it was a very small bear carrying a very large pot of some sweet substance, the scent of which, The Beast could taste on his tongue, sickly.
He moved his head a little further forward and watched puzzled for a moment as the bear surveyed him, an absent minded and somewhat nervous look on his honey colored face. He was a curious sight indeed. The Beast had never seen anyone quite like him and for a few moments, was mereley suprised to see such a tiny creature carrying such a large pot.
The bears whispered greeting met his ears and he replied, his voice a little quieter then usual but still as coarse. "Uh..Hello".

“I was just... humming to myself when I came across your tree, you see,” Pooh explained placing his hunny pot on the ground. “And then I noticed you were in here and well... well I wanted to say hello.”
“What exactly... are you doing in there... exactly?” he asked looking up curiously, moving closer to the Beast. “Is this your home?” He took a step back, wondering if he should enter, for if it was this creatures home, Pooh didn’t want to intrude without an invitation. He gave the creature a warm smile and then reached down picking up his hunny pot.
“You don’t happen to like... hunny?” he asked raising an eyebrow. “I... I have some if you’d like a smackeral?” He raised the pot a little in his paws and looked up with big wide curious eyes.
(OOC: Beast you just made my heart melt! *snuggles you close*, I'm glad Pooh wont annoy him =D )

(OOC: I hope ya'll don't mind me dropping in!)
(IC:) The clip-clop of a horse's hooves could be heard against the ground as Prince Ferdinand rode atop his faithful steed, Kaiser. The teenage prince had been enjoying his time around the park, though his thoughts often wandered to Snow White. He wondered how his wife was doing. Ferdinand remembered how she'd wanted to go off on her own for a while. He worried for her safety, especially with rumors of villains roaming about the park. He'd almost lost her once; he couldn't bear to let it happen again.
But for now, he put his worries to rest. As of now, he just so happened to be passing by the Tree of Life. He couldn't help but marvel at the magnificent structure. It was by far the largest tree he'd ever seen, and on it was carved many animals, some of which the likes he'd never seen before. Ferdinand saw a large form laying in one of the Tree's lower branches. He couldn't make out it out from the distance he was, but he could make out a small bear below. It was holding up an object of some sort, what appeared to be a pot.
The prince steered Kaiser in the direction of the two figures, and when he was close enough, he dismounted and left the horse where it stood. It was too loyal to its master to run off, so it merely shook its head and snorted as Ferdinand walked towards Pooh and Beast. It was when he came closer that he saw that the figure in the tree was a beastly creature of some sort. Strangely, however, he wasn't alarmed.
"Good day to you, friends!" the boy greeted kindly, a warm smile on his face.

((no indeed sir you are most welcome )) Beast continued to stare at the small bear for a few seconds, for once unsure of how to react. “Home?” he grunted and shook his head “No. Who are you?” he asked curtly, surveying the creature as it lifted the large pot up towards him. Wrinkling his nose, the Beast pulled back with a disapproving snarl, grimacing. Whatever the stuff was it was sweet and disgusting, “No…uh…th…thank you”.[/color] There was a word he hadn’t said in a while and he didn’t plan to make a habit out of it. Ready to question the bear again, The Beast was interrupted by the arrival of a horse and for one split second he looked up alert, his mind shifting automatically to Belle. He was still angry at her for ignoring him a few nights ago. His alert was short lived however when the form that dismounted turned out to belong to a young man. His expression irritable, The Beast grunted once more and lowered his head again, irked by the young man’s cheerful greeting. “What do you want!”

“I’m Winnie the Pooh,” Pooh told the large furry creature. “Or you can call me Pooh for short.” Pooh pulled the pot back when the large furry creature turned down his offer for a smackeral and he placed the jar on the ground once more.
“Well it’s there if you do you want some,” he told the creature softly and looked up at him again with his eyes filled with curious wonder. “Do... do you have a name? Because I - I have never seen a creature quite like you before.”
Pooh turned when he heard the sound of hooves on the forest floor, closely followed by someone walking and he looked up as a small boyish shaped shadow fell upon them and Pooh’s eyes widened. Could this be...? Was he really here...?
“Chris - Christopher Robin?” he called out, but as the young man approached, the shadow grew bigger and when Pooh looked up it was clearly not his dearly missed friend. Sighing a little sadly he looked down at his hunny pot reaching down and pulling it close to him. He smiled at the mans greeting but moved back a little when the Beast demanded to know what he wanted and Pooh gently took a seat on the ground watching the two of them...

Ferdinand was surprised by the reaction of the beastly figure on the branch. He'd merely given them a friendly greeting, only to receive resentment in return. Despite this, the Prince was a meek young man. He said nothing of Beast's rudeness. Rather, he lowered his head a little and spoke softly.
"I was merely passing by and though I might say 'hello'." Ferdinand replied. "If I've done anything to offend you, though I know not what I could have done, then please forgive me." he told Beast. "But since we're speaking, I should think it most proper that we introduce ourselves." The Prince removed his hat and bowed. "I, am Prince Ferdinand."
"Who might you be, if I should ask?" Ferdinand inquired. He then looked at the bear sitting nearby. "And you?"

((Is it okay if I join? ) So this was the tree. She had been strolling quite pleasantly through beautiful gardens not too far away from here, when she had heard a couple of creatures speaking of the 'Tree of Life.' She didn't think too much of it at first, feeling it rude to eavesdrop, when a few moments later she heard others speaking of it as well! She made a face: What was the tree of life anyway? Her curious nature getting the better of her, Lady decided to find this tree, determined to know what all the fuss was about. After much searching, she finally found it, and it almost took her by surprise. Standing a few feet away, her eyes were as round as saucers as she stared at the tree that was looming over her. As her eyes moved down to the base of the tree, she noticed animals of some sort had been carved in to it... It was astonishing! There was also the friendly looking mouse with the big round ears that she had seen in all the shop windows - was he the owner of the park? Taking a few paces towards it, Lady was not paying the slightest bit of notice where she was going and almost immediately knocked in to something rather fluffy. "Oh, please excuse me," Lady started, stumbling backwards slightly as she looked up to see who it was. This was beginning to become a habit of hers. There in front of her was a big yellow bear and a rather handsome man on a horse that she seemed to recongise, and next to him... She felt her jaw drop. Who was that? He reminded her of a very big dog with his long fur and rather large claws and teeth. Oh dear! she thought, feeling fear begin to bubble in the pit of her stomach and steadily rise up in to her chest.

((Hahah sure your welcome to join Lady!))
“A name?” The Beast asked impatiently, he turned away from the bear looking out across the land, speaking quietly “Call me what you want…” He couldn’t remember having a name. He was so used to being addressed as ‘Master’ now that his first name had fallen out of style and he didn’t care to remember it, after all he was merely a shadow of his former self. The memory stirred inside him and he tired to block it out.
As the young man apologized to The Beast for his greeting, he turned his back on them and spoke brusquely once more “It’s nothing”. The young man hadn’t done anything wrong at all The Beast just didn’t like communicating with anyone but his servants. Lying back down again, one of his burly arms folded under his head, The Beast found himself still listening to their conversation.
The boy introduced himself to Pooh as a Prince, pricking at the past Beast had hidden away inside himself. Closing his eyes he tried to tune them out when a new voice joined the group and he could feel a new set of eyes up on his back. They prickled at him and he turned abruptly. Digging his claws into the bark, hid slid back down to the ground with one arm, leaving long, deep grooves in the ancient wood and landing on his hind legs, standing at his full height. “What are you staring at?” he snarled, almost a De ja vu.

Lady gave a faint yelp as the creature snarled at her menacingly. She backed away, stumbling over her own long fluffly brown ears. "Oh dear - I didn't mean to - I - " she spluttered, feeling rather helpless.
She glanced at the others who didn't seem at all intimidated by him. Granted, one of them was on a rather dashing horse and seemed perfectly capable of protecting himself, but the bear appeared rather sweet and harmless. Perhaps he just wasn't that fond to strangers? If he really was vicious surely they wouldn't all be talking to me now? "I didn't mean any harm," she said in a very small voice.

“I... I’d like to call you a ‘friend’,” Pooh told the Beast, giving him a friendly smile. “But only if that’s okay with you... but, but you must have a name, don’t you? I thought everything, or at least most things had names.” He remained seated and watched the conversation continue between The Beast and the young man who Pooh had mistaken for Christopher Robin at first.
When the young boy introduced himself as Prince Ferdinand, Pooh stared in awe, he’d never met a real Prince before. He moved to get up and grinned happily at the now, no longer a stranger, Prince.
“I... I’m Winnie the Pooh,” he greeted with a soft chuckle and a grin. “Or you can call me Pooh for short. So are you, really a Prince? I have never met a Prince before, at least, I don’t think I have...”
“Oh!” Pooh gasped feeling something bump against him and he turned looking down at the creature who had just bumped him. His eyes widened as he recognized it as a dog and he remembered when him and his group of friends had helped Christopher Robin look after a dog once, oh the adventure that had ensued...
“Oh bother, are you okay?” he asked, gently putting a paw on Lady’s shoulder to steady her. “I - I’m sorry.” He hadn’t meant for her to bump into him, at least he didn’t think he had, and he hoped she was okay. He moved his paw back when he saw her begin to growl and he felt his own fur bristle in fear and he looked towards where she was looking at and noticed the very large furry creature from above was scaling down towards them.
“He... he’s a friend,” Pooh told the newcomer reassuringly. He ran over to The Beast and gently tugged on his leg and pointed towards where the dog was backing away.
“Tell her, tall furry creature friend, please tell her that you aren’t scary,” he begged, looking up at The Beast with wide eyes. “Please?”

(can Pinoky join?)
Pinocchio was walking along Discovery Island. He needed a little break from being in the Talent Show and dealing with Basil. He wanted to have something new and exciting to do. He also felt it most peaceful.
He walked and stopped as he spotted a beast, a stuffed bear, a prince, and a dog. "Hello, everyone." he greeted. "Who are you? I'm Pinocchio". Of course he would bring in the fact that he was made of wood so he had something in common with these folks.
