A young princess was running down the street. She had searched almost the entire world. Except for the Downtown Disney area. What was she looking for? A better question was who.
Eilonwy was looking for the gypsy Esmeralda. The princess needed to get her to the mansion of Lady Tremaine as soon as possible. Or away. Or whatever. She just knew she needed to warn her.
As she ran she finally found the women. She wasn't hard to spot. "Esmeralda! Esmeralda!" she cried. She only hoped that the women heard her pleas.

Esmeralda was walking calmly through the downtown area, followed by Djali. After Djali's shock experience with Elisa and Goliath, he had completely stopped his shoplifting. Now he passed the dresses with his head lifted and didn't even bother to sniff at them. Esmeralda noticed and suppressed a giggle, but she was so happy he had stopped stealing that she didn't tease him.
Suddenly she heard someone shouting her name, and saw a young princess with long, golden hair running towards her. Esmeralda thought for a moment... where had she seen the girl before? Then she remembered. It was Princess Eilonwy. A girl from Nani's sleepover party. But she was shouting too loud, making people turn to look after her. Esmeralda went quickly over to the girl, hoping Frollo or his men hadn't heard her. Esmeralda spoke to the girl, lowering her voice to avoid getting noticed by others.
"Not so loud, girl! You're making more noise than Mrs. Sparrow!!! What is going on?"

Good. She was near enough. The princess started speaking like she never said anything before. She did have quite the said of lungs on her.
"Sorry Esmeralda. I didn't mean to be so loud. But I needed to tell you something. What was it. Just give me a second. Ummmm. OH YEA! Elisa sent me to warn you about something. Oh yea! Some evil old lady named Lady Tremaine is looking for you. Cause she kinda wants to kill you. I don't know why. She just does. Oh and someone named Judge Claude Froll may have something to do with it. Elisa also asked me to tell you that finding Goliath is a good idea." she said out of breath.

Esmeralda raised an eyebrow and studied the face of the blonde girl that was talking so fast she could hardly breathe. Esmeralda chuckled with laughter and placed her hands gently around Eilonwy's shoulders to slow her down.
"Whoa, take a deep breath, so you don't turn blue."
She pondered about the warning, thoughtful.
"Judge Claude Frollo? Oh, that's nothing new. He persecuted my people already in Paris. That Lady Tremaine is evil is nothing new either. She is Judge Claude Frollo's sister, so I kind of expected that from her."
She released Eilonwy's shoulders and furrowed her eyebrows thoughtfully.
"Hmmmm.... if Frollo and Tremaine are co-operating, they will try to do something evil about my people. That must be stopped. But first... I have to get my people in safety."

"Well it comforts me to know they don't scare you," the Princess said with a slight sarcastic intonation. "Well obviously the best plan would be to... wait did you just agree with me? No one ever agrees with me. A particular assistant pig keeper i know would always take the 'honorable,' or 'heroic' path. No matter how many people told him it be a smart idea to do otherwise. But anyway, enough about me, back onto the problem at hand. How do you propose we go about doing this?" Eilonwy asked her friend.

"I can't allow myself to be scared, child," Esmeralda chuckled softly. "Fear will only stop me from thinking clearly. And now I need to think out a good plan to save my people. I was raised by the Gypsy King Clopin - and this makes me the princess of the gypsies. They all look to me to see them save and sound - and I have no intensions of letting them down." Esmeralda thought over the situation. Her father Clopin - as much as she loved him - was busy with just another love affair. Esmeralda sighed deeply. Flirtatious as she was, she always put her flirting aside in times of danger. Then she stood up for her people, preparing herself for battle. And more than once she had proved to her people that she was a brave and fearless fighter when she had to be. It was this side of her that took overhand in her nature now. She furrowed her eyebrows and stood up. "I will have to get my people in safety. I also need to find Goliath - fast. My people will be evacuated tonight. If I had Goliath to help me, we could bring all the gypsies in the park in safety to The Court of Miracles." (Elisa, if you read this: I have a plot idea, and will PM you soon. )

Goliath soared over Downtown Disney, his thoughts resting on one person. Elisa had left New York only two days ago on an undercover job, trying to arrest a Lady Tremaine. Goliath only knew her by reputation, and the woman didn't have a good one. It bothered him that Elisa was there, in danger. He didn't doubt her skills as a detective, but in his experience, things that could go wrong often did.
Which is why he was currently in Disney Land, being as close to Elisa as he could without actually being with her. He promised that he wouldn't follow her to the mansion, but that certainly didn't mean he couldn't be nearby in case she needed him.
Glancing down below him, he noticed Esmeralda talking to a young girl with blonde hair. Remembering Elisa mentioning that Lady Tremaine's plot involved the gypsies, he decided that he would stay with Esmeralda for the time being, in case his friend would need his help.
Coming to a graceful land in front of them, Goliath clasped his wings around his shoulders as he reached out to pet Djali.
"Good evening Esmeralda." Goliath said. "I'm afraid we have some troubling news to discuss."

Esmeralda looked up and noticed Goliath soaring through the air like an eagle. She was impressed by how elegant the gargoyles looked when they were floating through the air like that. Seeing him here, made her happy, but concerned at the same time, since she instantly got worried that something had happened to her friend Elisa. She wasn't used to see Goliath alone, without Elisa. There was something missing. The two of them belonged together, and it felt strange to see one without the other.
She gave Goliath a smile when he landed, and Djali bleated happily and ran over to him to give him a welcome lick, a greeting reserved only for Djali's favorite people. Esmeralda bowed her head gracefully, in a friendly greeting when he approached her.
"Good evening, Goliath. I see you come alone. And that fills my heart with worry. Has something happened to Elisa?"
Her eyes were filled with concern for her dear friend who was like a sister to her, and she was ready to leave immediately if Elisa should need medical care.

Goliath sighed. It had been so long since he and Elisa were separated. It left him with an unsettling ache in his heart.
"Elisa is working undercover at Lady Tremaine's mansion. She believes that the woman is plotting against you and your people. She... didn't want me with her because she feared it would make things too complicated. She brought Bronx with here, in case something does go wrong, but even with him there, I cannot help but fear for her safety."
Goliath tried not to think of what could be happening to Elisa. He could not dwell on such dark thoughts, not when they had a fight on their hands.

Esmeralda looked up at her friend, the giant. For a shallow person, he might seem intimidating, but Esmeralda knew the gentle heart behind his giant exterior. She had problems believing that Goliath could hurt a fly. His concern for Elisa touched her deeply, and she placed a reassuring hand over his, trying to comfort him.
"Lady Tremaine I have had the unfortunate "pleasure" of meeting a couple times. The first time I met her, I was furious because she had hurt a friend of mine, and we ended up mudwrestling. She stabbed me in the ribs, but Kovu saved me.
Elisa is a brave, strong and highly intelligent woman. Lady Tremaine may be sly and manipulative, but I doubt she can outsmart Elisa."
She listened to Goliaths words, and thought of possible plans.
"I need to get my people in safety. There are women and children among them and I need them to be safe. Tremaine must have written letters to someone about how my people will be trapped. If I only could write, I could send a message to Elisa that she has to go through Tremaine's letters. I know for a fact that Tremaine writes letters to her brother, Judge Claude Frollo, who also hunts for my people.
I need to bring my people to the Court of Miracles, and it has to happen tonight. If I only knew where the soldiers will strike first, so I can get there before them!"

Goliath nodded as Esmeralda said they needed to get her people to safety.
"Agreed." He said. "I will help you gather them and take them to this... Court of Miracles."
"If I only knew where the soldiers will strike first, so I can get there before them!" Esmeralda said.
"Yes, that would give us a good advantage." Goliath agreed. "But if this Lady Tremaine is writing to her brother, telling him of her plot, perhaps Elisa will be able to intercept them and warn us of where she plans to strike first."

Esmeralda smiled and looked warmly up at Goliath, squeezing his hand in gratitude to have a friend like him.
"Thank you, Goliath. I am blessed to have a friend like you. Here is my plan. The Gypsies are currently scattered all over the Disney theme parks, living their lives in freedom as usual. But Frollo only has one army, and I suspect that Tremaine will use that army to strike. They can only strike at one theme park at a time. If we can find the theme park before they get there, we will be capable of saving my people."
She took a deep breath, to focus on her next plan.
"We will bring all the women, children and elders to the Court of Miracles. All the gypsies who are too young or too weak to fight. Elisa would indeed be a big help if she can find out where the soldiers will strike first. But how can we bring her a message to ask her of that? I can't even write!"

Post by Winnie the Pooh on Feb 28, 2009 21:55:13 GMT -5
Pooh had been stumbling around since Bronx had pushed him towards a place of safety, he was beginning to lose more fluff from the rips in his legs and he’d stop and pick them up, carrying them gently in his paws. Usually Pooh had been good at tying himself back up but Lucifer had cut him open in a way where Pooh himself couldn’t retie it, not without help.
Exhausted, tired, lost, hurt and hungry the small teddy collapsed in a clearing deep in the woods and he sighed sadly. Shivering a bit at the cold from the night air he wrapped his paws gently and protectively around his fluff he’d collected that had fallen out from the rips in his legs.
Pooh was so tired that he didn’t hear Djali coming up to him, but as soon as Djali tapped him curiously with his nose Pooh awoke and looked up. He gave him a shy smile wondering what sort of new creature this was, he just hoped the creature was of the good sort....
Djali sniffed the air around Pooh, smelling something that reminded him fire, but a teddy bear would have no place around fire, or at least to be as close to it as it smelled like he had. He wandered around the teddy still sniffing him with wide curious eyes.
“Do you seek shelter? Oh my, are you hurt?” Djali asked now tilting his head as he noticed the bears wounds on his little legs. Pooh looked down at his legs and then nodded gloomily at Djali’s words.
“I was chained and... held prisoner over a fire...” Pooh explained, telling Djali all about what had happened. Djali’s eyes had filled with tears as he listened and he leaned over, lightly licking Pooh Bears cheek.
Pooh didn’t know how it happened, but the next thing he knew he was clinging to Djali’s back as Djali ran off in sure of Esmeralda and the others. When he reached them, he gently put Pooh down off his back and ran up to Esmeralda gently tugging on her dress, and then it became more frantic and urgent as he tried to pull her towards where Pooh sat, waiting for Djali to return...

Esmeralda was talking to Eilonwy and Goliath and didn't notice the wounded little teddy bear at first. But Djali ran over to her and started pulling her skirts, as if he had found something and needed her to come and see. She smiled to Eilonwy and Goliath.
"If you'll excuse me for a moment, I have to check out what Djali has found. He never nags like this, so it has to be important."
She followed Djali, and the tiny goat ran back to Pooh, nudging him gently and looking up at Esmeralda with big sad goat's eyes. Esmeralda immediately noticed that the poor little teddy was torn, and her warm heart was filled with compassion.
"Oh, you poor little thing! Don't be afraid, I will help you."
She found her sewing kit in her pocket, then she tore some fluff from one of her old woollen shawls and started putting it into the torn legs to fill them up. When the legs had the size they should have, she gently patched up the teddy bear with neat stitches, making sure that the thread was so strong it couldn't be torn again. When she was done with the sewing, she lifted the little teddy up in her lap and gave him a warm hug.
"Now tell me, little one: who has done this to you?"
